due to an unfortunate series of events clover has to go through waterfall
ends up encountering undyne
U: "GRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH"
before she can land a hit a bullet shoots her spear
S: "hold it right there pard'ner"
a whole bunch of monsters swarm around undyne and clover
S: "we're jumping you"
undyne stands silently for a moment
U: "do... do you all really think you can fight me? none of you are soldiers."
there's some murmuring in the crowd
?1: "you can only get a few of us before we overwhelm you!"
some cheering roars up before some whispers cut it off
?1: "most of us..."
some murmurs return
?1: "a-all of us..."
the last murmurs become dejected and peter out
?2: "but asgore would be upset if he found out that you had to fight all of us to get the soul!"
cheering returns
U: "uh huh. and who's going to fight me?
everybody stood in silence
U: "COME ON WHO'S FIRST???"
...
?3: "asgore would also be sad if he found out that a good chunk of the population was sad about a human friend being killed"
U: "alright fine thats fair... BUT DONT THINK THIS MEANS I TRUST YOU, BRAT! STAY IN THAT DAMN DESERT WITH YOUR FRIENDS."

Alternate ending

undyne stands silently for a moment

the swarm goes to fight undyne
she's almost immediately overwhelmed
when its all said and done, undyne's armor has been compressed to the point where she looks like that one baki image where the guy has been reduced to the head and a little bandaging below it.
