DALL-E 3 is the cool new AI art toy on the market.
It is far more powerful and creative than anything released so far. When prompting, don't hold back in terms of detail. The biggest bottleneck is your imagination.
However, there are some drawbacks.
- It is VERY prudish in terms of NSFW content. Your prompts will often be blocked even if you try to make something completely innocent. Now more than ever.
- You will likely get banned if you test your luck and try to evade the filter. Most bans are for 1 hour, but some anons are getting banned for 24 hours.
- It doesn't know obscure characters. You'll have to use Stable Diffusion instead, or try to describe their appearance.
- It won't let you generate images of many important public figures (Biden, Trump).
- Image resolution restricted to 1024x1024.
- At random, it will add "ambiguous ethnicity" to your prompt which will fuck up your artwork by changing characters into minorities.
- Right now, you only get
1005025 "boosts" per day. And it looks like it's going to keep dropping. You can make multiple accounts, however. Some anons claim to have 10+ accounts. At some point, they will ask for phone verification. - Usage is way higher than they anticipated, so prompting will be slow at times.
- There is no local/offline version, like Stable Diffusion.

Tips:
- If you want a full body shot of a character, try describing their footwear.
- You can sometimes get around the "no public figures" rule by giving a description of the individual instead of mentioning their name. Instead of "Mark Zuckerburg," try "founder of Facebook." But you might end up catching a ban.

Sonic and Tails at Tokyo Joypolis at nighttime, Japanese magazine scan, 90s. It did a pretty good job of emulating the Saturn Sonic vibe, adding "Japanese Magazine scan" in general is a pretty good way to get it to produce sovlful kino.
