The Prote
is the designation assigned to the lethal nanomachine-swarm powered interceptor line of Rickorubo Heavy Industries. This Daemon finds its way in most well-funded Deadbeat armies, desired for any anti-mecha roles. Its swarm-based armor is able to regenerate light damage in short order, change configuration based on expected attacks, and fulfill reactive armor functions. The individual elements can also redistribute themselves to weak points in the carapace, and in a pinch, form heated protrusions useful in close quarter combat.
Most of its combat capability, and much of its cost, stem from the expensive D&T Wan-Wan Magneto-Inertial Fusion-powered thrusters which grant it the intense thrust needed to maneuver around equally agile enemy machines in orbital combat.
Prote
Daemons have a reputation for jumpy, twitchy behaviour, likely due to the strain of their relatively low capacity nervous system managing their integrated Swarm System.
