Crawl the Walls

You start to move toward the signs that indicate "Go this way." Tomas moves along with you. As if a people bomb just detonated, the entry hall of Ruby Conference Center fills wall to wall with individuals who look tired, annoyed, and over it.

You and Tomas beat the crowd, so the two of you walk into the large lecture hall before anyone else. You know that you have seen the activity going on before Tomas because he continues walking down the aisles and finds a seat while you stop dead in your tracks.

You stare at the people standing in the front of the room. You see a very large man, large in all dimensions, holding a spiky weapon.

You wonder in horror, is that is a mace?

Another man centers what looks like a sword as if he is praying over it. A wild-haired woman in all leather throws a boomerang into the audience area and catches it again. Tomas has to duck his head to avoid being hit, but laughs.

He says, "This looks like a great demonstration they're doing! Maybe we should move closer to the front?"
