stuck wondering how to use le NU model? follow this guide and then you'll know cute dummy.

~~1. Download SillyTavern (duh)~~
~~2. You need to have git installed (you should already have this if you update sillytavern the right way), we are going to be adding another anon's repo who has made the mod for us!~~
~~3. open your command line/terminal in your root sillytavern directory (where the .git folder is), and then copy paste the following 3 commands into the terminal!~~

git pull fork
git checkout nuclaude

4. I really didn't think I needed to specify this, but after seeing someone screenshot and select the custom chat completion source (what the fuck anony...), I suppose i have to. Choose the CLAUDE chat completion source, and select the new model. Christ anons...this is just common sense.
And that's it! You're on the right SillyTavern build with claude selected and ready to go!

if git/command prompt is a bit scawwy... you can always just download the zip files from here (click the green code button in the top right and then "Download Zip) and then drag into your Sillytavern install and manually overwrite the files, but I wouldn't recommend it!

Now how do I use muh nu Claude?

And if you have an Anthropic key you're good to go!

If you're using a proxy however...you're also good to go! Just make sure your proxy is fully updated and your proxy endpoint is set to /proxy/anthropic or /proxy/aws/claude for AWS.

That is really important otherwise, it will not work and you will be sad. do NOT use the other endpoints like proxy/claude-3 as they are for compatibility purposes for those using the older version of the Anthropic API. bwehhh.

both desu and miniproxy now work on the correct endpoints since they updated their proxy builds.

OTHER STUFF

Since vision support is also implemented by KingBased, you can send your waifu cockpics if you're into that...idk if you want dario having that stuff though tbhdesu. HOWEVER. Khanonie hasn't implemented vision support yet in his proxy (I think) so unless you have an Anthropic API key you might have to put a raincheck on that cockrating desu...

Ok that's cool and all, but what if I want to update SillyTavern, I'm stuck on Anonny's fork now what do i do bwehhhh

Back in your sillytavern directory where you ran the previous commands, just run the following command in your terminal
git checkout origin/staging
git pull origin/staging
and you're back on the main SillyTavern repo all up to date!
