I think they’d choose a quiet little pâtisserie tucked along a narrow Paris street, the kind with warm yellow lights and fogged windows. 03 would sit across from 11 but lean forward constantly, unable to stay still, eyes bright as he talks about some obscure vaudeville performer he recently rediscovered. His hands would move dramatically, as if he’s on stage even now, reenacting scenes between bites of cake.

11 would listen the way he always does— Quiet, attentive, elbows resting lightly on the table. He wouldn’t interrupt much. He’d just watch 03 with that soft, distant expression, absorbing every word like it matters. And it does, to him.

03 would eventually start feeding him small forkfuls of cake without even asking, smiling every time 11 accepts it. It isn’t flashy or grand; it’s warm. Familiar. 03 gets to perform for someone who truly sees him, and 11 gets to sit in someone’s presence without feeling alone. The world outside stays distant, and for once, both of them feel completely at ease.
