the final bell blares and all the students flush out of the room
you don't though. you just sit there reading a book.
you read for an extra few hours or so, the sky dark and rain hitting the windows.
she should be here soon. club activities are just about done
sure enough you hear the door slide open.
you turn to her.
she looks down at you in shock
"y-you're still here? were you waiting for me?"
you nod and smile.
she looks happy for a moment but she catches herself and tries to look more stern
"y-you don't have to wait for me! just go home after school like a normal person! besides..." she shouts turning her back to you, the sudden spin lifting her skirt only a little...
"come on" she speaks without fully turning to you. using her back to hide her smiling face.

you both make it to the shoe rack, grabbing at your umbrella...
you see kronii huddled over the umbrella rach, sifting through some of the ones already there...
"?" you ask concerned.
she turns to you with a little panic in her face...as well as some blush
"m-my umbrella! i-it's not here! i must have left it at home"
you turn to look outside
it's raining pretty heavy out there
you open your umbrella up and invite her under
"y-you want to walk all the way over to my house under your umbrella?" she asks covering her lips in shock
you nod and smile at her
she takes a deep breath standing up and walking close to you
"th-thank you" she speaks softly, averting her gaze from you.
you two didn't speak. but she walked close to you. making sure the both of you were plenty covered.
you occasionally feel er shoulder brush against yours
neither of you say anything.
the sound of your footsteps and the rain hitting the top of the umbrella made plenty of noise...
you eventually make it to her house.
she looks to you with a smile
"thank you! you're my hero!" she cheers before giving you a quick hug
she blushes realizes what she's doing then quickly enters her house.

she plops on the floor wrapping her arms around her body, giggling to herself.
time mom steps out to look at her with a raised brow
"ugh, kronii! where's your umbrella? you took it to school with you!"
kronii smiles
"I guess it just slipped my mind~" kronii says cutely
