Metapost about "Ninisani"

To clear things up, so it is less confusing when you look at maps or read posts and are utterly confused at how NijiEN and its breakoff threads work in /vtwbg/, I am writing this.

So how the Empire of Ninisani is drawn up in Lore is that all generals (aside from /rose/) are part of an "Empire" ruled by Eliria. The reason this is in quotations is the Emperor/Empress has absolutely no authority in reality outside of her own Archduchy (which is part of LazuLight.) This is essentially post-1648 HRE, but perhaps worse since any Imperial Decrees can be just refused and are never obeyed. A good example as to why this Empire is an Empire in name only is shown in a historical part of the lore where the Dragoons actually overthrow the reigning Emperor and put their own on the throne.

Anyone can leave the Empire should they wish, albeit for the purposes of lore, there would be political consequences for doing so that would result in a war. But the truth is I will not allow the Empire to win this war either. It's up to the reps and while I encourage them for the fun of playing in a unique situation to stay in, they do not have to by any means

Furthermore, /NijiEN/ as a thread is the worst of the worst in our fanbases. While this isn't true all the time, most of the thread is represented by schizos, timeloopers and falseflaggers. That is why the Bad Lands exist. As for why Pomerania controls a good bit of the land, Pomudachi are probably the largest fanbase that regularly posts there, indeed more Pomudachi post there than LazuLight General. Until recently, you could make the case that NijiEN was just Pomudachi, NijiBoys, and Schizos. I may have to rework Aloupeeps into having land in there because they post there a lot more than they used too. If an anon wants to come in and turn the General into a proper nation, they can but I would personally suggest that it would be more fun for them to focus on the schizos, /soc/posters and raiders that infect that general because that truly is a proper representation beyond what I have already said. But it's up to them too.

The reason it is set up this way is also because we have a different culture from /hlgg/ and the splits too, in my opinion. /NijiEN/ is HLGG without moderation and the thread reflects that. Our splits largely came because the thread is unusable because its lack of moderation. This is part of where the misunderstanding comes from, as for example, /luxnoc/ was only formed and made successful because of the "Gender Wars" that took place to drive them out by schizos.

You can think of this as unfair, but please understand there is no power beyond lore in the Empire. It's set up to represent the entire NijiEN fanbase in an interesting way that allows some creativity between other writers and interesting political interactions should we choose to do it. Imagine if the Dragoons wanted to take the Imperial Throne for themselves and went to war with LazuLight to take? That's interesting to me and I would hope this system doesn't hamstring anyone because I have tried to design it in a way that doesn't but also allows for interesting lore and interactions overall.

One last thing, I assumed I was the rep for /NijiEN/ and other nations I asked for permission to in their threads and only figured out that "It doesn't work like that" recently. This wasn't me imposing authority as much as me not knowing. I actually technically was the /NijiEN/ rep until I chose to be LazuLight when I was forced to pick. Forgive my stupidness.
