it was a morning like any other
a very young Kronii arose from bed
unlike a slightly less young Kronii, she actually got good sleep
she waddled to the bathroom and did the usual
she then put on some clothes
she had panties that said Wednesday right on her butt
she liked keeping track of time
she left her room
the day was usual
she helped her mother and father around the family store
she enjoyed it here
many of their neighbors were korean so it was easy to get along
the day was going normally and it started to get dark out when suddenly she heard something
kronii heard men screaming
kronii liked to play around with her voice and imitated the men to try and see if she could make her voice sound like theirs
she was immediately silenced apparently having said something bad
her father spoke up
"don't imitate those ni-"
he was cut off, they were getting closer
he then immediately ran to barricade the store's front door
the men, they started banging on the door
Kronii's father put his body in front of it and started holding it shut
he was struggling, Kronii's mother ran crying and hid behind the counter beckoning her child
kronii was scared and confused
the last time this happened her father just went up and solved it somehow
Kronii immediately ran for the ladder thinking she would be safer
she climbed it and ended up on the roof
she could see the men
she thought they looked odd
something about them was so odd
she saw a long thing set gently on a box
it had a tube on top
she looked through it, it was like a telescope
it had red marks in the center like a puzzle
she angled those marks to match up with one man's head, shiny and black
while gripping the long thing she felt something
it was thin and moved slightly
she pushed it
suddenly the scary man was gone onto the ground
she did it again to another
and again
she got better and started to enjoy it
she giggled with delight
soon enough they were all gone
Kronii and her family were safe
she loved it and would eagerly run up to the roof every evening for the next few days
eventually the men stopped coming
kronii was disappointed but at least her family was safe
those dark scary men were no match for the brave Kronii following in her father's footsteps
