In his secret identity he is Bruce Wayne, billionaire industrialist and notorious playboy. Although he has no superhuman powers, he is one of the world’s smartest men and greatest fighters.

ORIGIN
Bruce Thomas Wayne the son of one of Gotham City's most prominent figures, Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne. One night the happy family went to the theater to see the “The Mark of Zorro” whose main character had become little Bruce's favourite and so his parents indulged him.

Exiting the theater they took a short cut down an alley– now known as Crime Alley– where a mugger stopped them a gun pointing at them asking for Martha's pearls. Before he knew what was happening Bruce heard two shots echoing against the alley walls. He knelt down by his parent's lifeless bodies as he held his mother's hand covered in blood.

That night he made a promise; “by the spirits of my parents I will avenge their deaths by spending the rest of my life warring on all criminals."
