okay so once upon a time back in my little itty bitty baby days i was like 13 years old and on twitter. I think i was like on art&mmd twt or something idk honestly i forgot it all. anyway while for art art tips i stumbled across fanart of this character with purple hair. I don't know why but I always really like characters in media with purple hair... it's a reoccurring thing. Anyway when I tell you I deadass STARED at it for like a good 5 minutes straight being like "holy shit she's so pretty where's she from???" thank you to that one raiden artist for re-wiring my brian ive never been the same. everytime i find that fanart I get jumpscared.

after finding the fanart and heading straight to the replies, someone said that it was the raiden shogun. so i searched for her, and she was in genshin impact. I uninstalled A LOT of things on my laptop. My old laptop space was like i think 70 gb at most im so srs. I used a ton of my space primarily for my 3d things because im a nerd but I had to momentarily drop it all for raiden. anyway after waiting two days for the stupid game to install i FINALLY had the chance to get her. but to make a long story short god hates me and i did noty get raiden on her first banner. I played day and night and wanted her SO bad but I wasn't able to save enough to even reach pity. thanks genshin!

so then I bitched about it so hard my friends on discord got sick and tired of it. like genuinely I was just. terrible. all the character hyperfixers you know what im going through... that agonizing feeling of not getting that one character you're obsessed with. yeah so i cried and screamed about it for a good week until one of my friends decided to give me an extra genshin account she had lying around with raiden on it to make me shut up. and it worked! i was super happy and got to have raiden. in exchange i gave her my one and only genshin account with just keqing and diluc on it which she didnt mind. thank you leia you're so nice its a shame you turned out to be really bad and i had to cut you off

anyway to make ANOTHER long story short i got into the genshin account trading stuff and i lost my raiden account to a scammer. of course i cried about it and reported them in like all the trading servers I was in, but I don't really mind anymore. that account was terrible my raiden build was so ass i couldn't fight anything without dying a few times here and there.

while in the genshin trading stuff I ended up climbing my way from starter accounts to those big fancy ones, until i eventually got too overwhelmed and tired with it all and decided to just buy an account and keep it. the account in question? $25 for raiden & her weapon. it wasn't og raiden but i dont really mind. I think in total I had raiden at least 10 times on several different accounts before settling for that one, which I still use!

I miss my old hi3 account that was linked to that keqing & diluc account. I had just about almost every mei suit. im also a major raiden mei fan! i love her in every universe. i used to also own acheron but i gave away that hsr account to a friend 💔

so yes! the story of my raiden ei genshin impact account thing. if anyone ever remembers in 2022-2023 someone with a raiden pfp crying about their hacked starter raiden account that was probably me...

but the reason: why?

oh yeah. honestly the only real difference is appearance (i do not have purple hair and i am NOTTT pale ) and the fact i can cook somewhat well. i bake great though, everyone who stumbles across this rentry and has come this far can get a slice of cake from me

her backstory was also very interesting to me, and ive spent so much time reading it. quiz me on raiden and ill answer in SECONDS im not joking. i wish me and her had similar birthdays since that would be super cool but im born in december.

I really do want to get merch of her... only person in my family is my mom that knows a LITTLE bit of my raiden ei hyperfix because:

1. i asked her for a raiden cosplay (she said no since it's too "revealing" one day though ill cosplay her trust me okay)
2. i have her as my wallpaper on all my devices. including 3ds.
3. i've rambled about raiden lore to her a thousand times
4. i crocheted an entire raiden themed bag which i showed her and some other family members who thought it was super pretty
5. i have 3 raiden pins and 1 keychain of her
6. i have a plush of raiden's wife & my yume (yae miko)
7. ive shown her pictures of raiden

my little sister literally calls raiden the "purple girl" LMAO. shes a dumb 6 year old but i love her.

before you come at me for being crazy about raiden i've had other hyperfixations & special interests that ive rambled about to my mom and she doesnt care. my mom has played these games before...

I really want to ask her for the raiden nendroid so bad. same time those things are expensive and i feel crazy guilty if i ask for something thats like $20. i was also considering crocheting a raiden doll since i dont have a raiden plush, i think i MIGHT have some purple yarn lying around. hopefully. i know i have this big ass skien of lavender colored yarn but the texture is so bad (I FHATE HATE HATE HYATE HATEEEE LION BRAND YARN. IT CAN DIE. I ONLY GOT IT BECAUSE IT WAS ON CLEARENCE FOR LIKE $3.) its like a really light shade of lavender... i could use it for some of her clothes but not really. i think i may still have this lighter purple color from my crochet raiden-themed bag? idk.

now back to raiden, as a fandom person yes i do ship characters and i am a multishiper. everyone loves everyone in this house. but i do ship eimiko pretty heavily.. they're so cute together omg. purple x pink duo never lets me down. truth be told i do NOT see raiden ever being with a man except for like platonically (no offense to that one zhongei oomf i have you do what you want!) yae miko was soooo made for her. i hc raiden being aroace because 1. IM AROACE SO THEREFORE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IS ALSO AROACE and 2. because I said so okay? aroace sapphic raiden is so canon. shoutout to miya for decorating /eimiko so well and also caroline for decorating /yaei so well you guys are both insane when it comes to decorating rentries it's like candy to my eyes. you guys truly did this ship justice thank you both!!!

I really want to try making tricolor dango, it's a dessert associated with raiden so heavily yet I have no idea how it tastes and ive never made it before. ONE DAY!!! i want to also try dango milk it sounds super good. in raiden's story quest she describes it as having a porridge-like texture and i LOVEEEE porridge. give me some of that dango milk tomoki. give it.

RAIDEN'S THEME IS SOOOOOO GOOD OH MY GODDDD. i love it. ive never been the same since I heard it genuinely like... ive never stopped listening to it since the day it released. i love both og version & tnbee's remix they're so heavenly. I listen to a lot of her main trailer theme & her demo theme, and sometimes her battle theme. mostly when im studying though since it's so intense. the fact there's always the same instrumental in so many of inazuma's themes really shows how raiden is omnipresent literally EVERYWHERE in inazuma. I also really like tnbee's remix of raiden and kazuha's battle music, the lofi mix specifically helps me sleep so well. It's one of the only things that brings me to sleep sometimes. I also listened to it a TON when I was going through this really messy break up with my ex. thank you tnbee raiden theme remixes for saving my life.

I really wanna cosplay raiden super bad. like yes she's pretty obviously but also the idea of dressing up as the character that I've liked for literal years is fun! maybe i'll just make my own cosplay tbh I see myself doing that. i just need a whole lot of purple and red and gold fabric. Most genshin cosplays are kind of expensive (like $100 ummmm) but I think I'll buy one as soon as I get a stable income and my own place. then i'll wear it all day and be happy

When I first made my ao3 account, one of the first things I did was search through the Eimiko ship tag. I am so deadass. I originally got into fanfiction at like 11 because of this diehard ass hyperfix i had with a certain franchise (its so ass goodnight. im taking it to the grave with me) but I never had an ao3 account. I think I only made mine in like 2022. anyway back to eimiko the first fic i read was titled "Miko" and I believe it's written by nightale27? something similar to that. Anyway THANK YOU AUTHOR I LOVE YOU this fic was so fun to read I literally just reread it during a school trip (yes. a school trip. nothing is stopping me.) on the bus.

Not going to spoil much but the plot is pretty much miko running away and getting hurt, then ei decides to take her home and take care of her. very very very sweet and cute. It takes place in a modern universe where makoto is still alive and well, and where they both have jobs and stuff. It's genuinely just one of my favorite fanfictions and im forever grateful it was one of the first ones I came across and read.

I want ei merch so bad. I got my pins and one (1) keychain at one convention and I don't think I'll be going to one again. Conventions just aren't for me... they're too crowded and too loud. There are things online but a lot of it is very expensive, and it's always nice to support artists who make things by hand. One thing I want just for the fun of it is the cheap raiden plush. hold on

I don't even know. They're so stupid I love them. I have a yae miko that I also got from said convention (i think i spent like $200 purely on genshin things that day bye) but they didn't have raiden. If they did I think I would've bought 2 in case I ever lose the first one.

Raiden's banner rerun is soon!! im pretty sure it's like 5 days away from now that I'm typing this (5/22/25) and I think I'll try for her c1 MAYBE c2 if I grind hard enough. I want that c2 bad... ignoring 40% of def is crazy omg thank you to whoever made raiden's constellations. I do also want kokomi as she's very pretty and I kind of need another healer. I only have sigewinnie as my only healer and like nobody else. at all. kokomi would also do pretty well in a raiden team as she does have good hydro application and electro charged is always a fun reaction to use. However I am just too #dedicated so I probably won't go for kokomi. Unless I don't even get raiden's constellations in the first place. In that case I'll just go for kokomi.

My raiden build is somewhat good. I'm like top 53% on akasha which is kind of pathetic but I'm trying . there's so many people with raiden i think it's honestly really difficult to be like top 10% or something. actually no thats a lie i remember talking about my raiden build and how bad it was and i put the akasha card image thing. then one of my oomfs replies with their own raiden build and they're like 8% on akasha. are we deadass. yeah no i've never been the same since. the raiden domain hates me i swear to god I could spend thousands of condensed resin and then get actual dogshit back. her talent domain is also difficult, since the enemy will regenerate if you dont kill them at the same time.

I sit very often in the same position as ei does when she's meditating, you know that one pose? where she has one leg under the other?

yeah like that. literally like 90% i have my legs like that when i sit somewhere. its very comfortable! theres times i'll sit like that at school and my teachers wont gaf thankfully.

I kind of have a ita bag? like yes I do have one but it literally has nothing in it. I have like 2 pins and 3 keychains attached ijbol. it's so empty it's almost actually sad. who wanna fund my raiden ei themed itabag.. okay but I do think I will get some new pins later on. I want a TON of raiden pins. like literally a bucketful i want them all no joke. Enemal pins are nice, but I think I'll just ask for a ton of button pins since they're cheaper. you know those itabags that have like 90 of the exact same button on them in rows? yeah i want that but with a ton of raiden pins and some raiden keychains.

I was playing genshin earlier this morning and looked over at the talents, I REALLY need more solvents because it's literally the only thing I need. Everything else is fine. I think my talents were at 5-7-8? something like that. I need a ton more of signora's flowers to level them up. The talent domain isn't too bad.. the enemies are annoying but honest to god the artifact domain annoys me more in comparison. COUNT YOUR DAYS VIOLET COURT.

i love the fact my ex also likes raiden it's so funny. he got her on her rerun earlier this year i think on his main account, he's been wanting her for a while. his build sucks though I DONT MAKE THE RULES! he mains zhongli (i think) so we both main archons wow. sorry for the random ex ramble i just saw him in the hallway rn and i think he deserves a little section of my raiden rambling considering he also likes raiden.

I think ei's weapon is very pretty. It fits her design very well, and I couldn't imagine raiden having any other weapon then a polearm. It suits her perfectly. speaking of polearms go check out /polearm made by oomf who did raiden SO well. genuinely one of the prettiest raiden rentries ive seen
