put them both in the same universe. fuuchan and hex commiserating about the latest kerfuffle their sentinels got themselves into over shitty office coffee in the break room. awkwardly pulling their shirt collars higher to hide the spattering of bruises and marks underneath. sonny would be on his guard the first time he meets pio-chan because he can smell that something's wrong despite pio-chan's inoffensive exterior. somehow they end up having group sex where hex and fuuchan hold hands and kiss sloppily with open mouths and their tongues hanging out.

i love this... they've been secretly bonded since they were students, which is highly taboo because they're supposed to wait and be assigned the most compatible partner, but it was the only method a few highschoolers knew to prevent doppio from spiraling further. they're able to keep it under wraps until they reach the age of majority, then they gotta go on the run. maybe fuuchan and sonny get sent to catch them and find doppio in critical condition, zoned out and on the verge of losing himself. fuuchan, softhearted as he is wont to be, pulls some strings and cashes in some of that good will to get doppio medical condition. in exchange the two now have to work for the vaguely military organization he's beholden to.

I love it! I still have no idea what guides and sentinels are but I have fun bouncing around ideas with you. It's so cute to imagine them running away together living in some mountain town where nobody knows who they are. Hex is a stay at home husband while doppi goes out and uses his retard strength to do hard labour and earn money for them.

it actually predates ABO. it's been mostly forgotten in the english-speaking sphere but i see it regularly in cn spaces, i think someone posted a briskovid sentinel/guide fic on ao3 lately that i haven't checked out yet.

oh man what if during doppi's schizo attacks he's seeing all of the spirits and other supernatural stuff, all the malicious energy from then kind of hijackes his being, the only person with a stong enough aura to ward them away is Hex which is why he can always calm him down after an attack.
the two of them huddled together, hex pets doppio's head and back while he whispers soothing words in his ear, doppi's unaware he's gripping hex's waist so hard he's leaving bruises. once it's over they have the softest sex where doppio treats hex like he's extra fragile and hex whines because he's not used to going so slow anymore.
