Dear mom, dad, Stu and Sally,

First off, thanks for not pulling me out of Shiketsu. Mom made it very clear just how worried you guys are about me over the phone when you heard the news (and then again in all of her subsequent phone calls), but I'm fine, and so is the rest of 1-F. It's really only the folks who knew this 'Reaper' guy personally who seem to be in any real danger, the rest of us are fine.

I never met that poor fella who Reaper killed, but I'm kind of casual friends with some of the guys from 1-D, (you remember I told you about Inigo, the guy with the little, green dragon?) and they're all really broken up about it as you can imagine. Apparently, some parents have opted to withdraw their kids from the school, so some classes are being folded into others. (Thanks again for not pulling me out).

In happier news, it looks like 1-F is getting proper class-room at last! Skycarver-sensai mentioned about how there's a room that used to belong to one of the classes that's being folded into one of the others, and he's trying to persuade the principal to let us move in there! I hope he manages it, because it's getting a little crowded in our bathroom, especially since we have a new class-mate. Her name is Susana and she's another mutant. She looks kind of like the shape-shifting Terminator from Terminator II (by which I mean she's made of liquid metal, not that she looks like a middle-aged male cop). Apparently she's made of mercury, so she has to sit under an extractor fan, because breathing in mercury fumes is super bad for you.

Overall, things are beginning to settle down a bit now, and I think it's just a matter of time until they bring that Reaper jerk to justice. I'm going to attend the memorial service for the guy he killed (his name was Genma Gō, I looked it up). Even though I didn't know him, I still want to pay my respects. Is that weird?

Anyway, how's the dealership doing? I know dad was having trouble shifting those new Humvees. Has he sold any of them yet? How are you doing at the law firm? You mentioned that this might be the year you make partner, any news on that front? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Please tell Stu I've found a store that sells subbed One Piece, but I can't remember which ones he's missing, is it season CDXXXVII or season CDLXXIII?
