1. Fiddleafox

What would this list be without Fiddle?
Fiddleafox used to be a Twitter and Tumblr SFW-Only Pokemon artist, most known for her beloved fox OC character, Averi! Unfortunately she got into some silly and meaningless drama and was doxxed and harassed off of the internet by trolls. We created averi.foo in her honour, to protect and appreciate her character years after she left. We assume she is well, happy, and off doing other more important things, though it would be awesome if she returned some day.

Most of Fiddle's social media is either hacked or deleted, so you'll have to resort to archives, but you can still view her Twitter here: https://xcancel.com/fiddleafox, just don't look at any of the replies, there are some very unsavoury people in there. Fiddle was truly one of a kind artist, but due to the drama and the way she was being treated, she felt like she didn't belong in the fandom and gave up on her creative hobbies.

I hate to get emotional, but being reminded of it all just upsets me. There are people behind the computer screens. But perverts and degenerates don't care about that. It's not right that bright people like her have to give up what they love on such a sour note. It all makes me feel so destroyed inside. Even though I don't know her, I hope she's okay, alive and happy.

2. Starrtoon

Starrtoon, also most commonly referred to as just "Starr" is also well known in these circles for being a fairly good SFW-only Christian artist. She draws dragons and anthro animals and other people's sonas, though her interactions on Twitter and some of the things she does or says sometimes can be a little problematic. Unlike Fiddle, she's not as popular, having only 7 thousand followers in comparison, though she is able to get away with saying a lot more than Fiddle could and not be burnt at the stake for it.

In the past, Starr has had this to say about NSFW artists:

"the community unfortunately does have a big reputation for the lewd art, but one can still like to draw anthropomorphized animals while staying pure and SFW. it helps to stay in the smaller circles of the community who are against NSFW. it's also perfectly fine to block the NSFW accnts. so I do NOT label myself as a furry, but I do surround myself with the right people who don't do NSFW nor lewd art."

We hope this sentiment continues and stays with her!
