"I'll wait out the rain here if it's no prob... actually, I'm staying even if it's a problem," she said, getting up.

"... where do you think you're going?"

She paused before the door, turning to look at him in confusion. "Your living room? What, you want me to watch you sleep?"

"Do you think I'll close my eyes and let you wander around my place? Stay."

She rolled her eyes but did as he asked, sitting on the bed with her back against the headboard and her arms crossed.

Together, they watched the rain splatter against the window. Though as the weather outside only became louder, and the silence in the bedroom became stifling—

"Are you—"

"Has this—"

Together, they broke the silence, pausing to stare at each other.
