Personal Relic: Folly’s Grasp

(Fable <Chi> Ring)

You may expend divinity (10 per hour) to temporarily possess any individual who has either met the conditions of your primary directive <By Their Own Hand>, is bound by a <Pact of Submission> or whose soul you have come to own. You may only use this effect on mortals or incarnations of a lower level than yours. Additionally, you must know the true name and, for incarnations, the identity of their primary myth in order to possess them.

It is possible to manipulate up to 5 targets at a time, including your own body, but with each target, including yourself, the mental strain increases, and prolonged exertion of the full power of this relic may damage your soul.

It is possible to make use of both your own authorities and the authorities of the individual you have come to possess while the possession is in effect, but, though the effects will remain the same as they are at the level at which you possess them, the effective level of the authorities will be at the incarnation level of whoever you are possessing, or half of your own incarnation level, whichever is higher.

Additionally, any actions you engage in using the body of a target under the control of <Folly’s Grasp> which satisfy your directives will grant you influence as if you had used them yourself.

It is possible to provide a copy of two non EX rated authority you possess at half of its current level (or their incarnation level, whichever is lower) to any person who you could manipulate with <Folly's Grasp>. However, doing so takes up one of the 5 target slots for this relic

Secondary Personal Relic: Sliver of Amdusias

(Fable <Omega> Piercing) (0/100,000)

Dramatically increases the vocal control of the user, naturally guiding their body to perfectly execute any melody they wish. Removes the user’s need to breathe. When the <Sliver of Amdusias> is in use, the user may have any piece of metal within a radius equal to X miles, where X is any number less than or equal to the user’s incarnation level emit both the sound of the user’s voice as well as any accompanying instrumentation. This effect bypasses all defense authorities and relics with a combined effective level below the user’s incarnation level and the grade of this relic.

Additionally, whenever a person is affected by any authority, miracle, or other effect transmitted via the <Sliver of Amdusias>, one charge is added to the relic. These charges may be converted into divinity at a rate of ten divinity to one charge, or they may instead be used to temporarily allow the user to increase the effective level of the resonance and bypassing function of the <Sliver of Amdusias>, with an increase of two effective levels per magnitude of 10 (Maximum increase of 10). Charges may also be used to add a flat bonus whenever a sound-based authority is used at an identical rate (Maximum increase of 10). These effects may stack.

Consumable. Teleports the user to a place they consider safe and heals all of their physical injuries. Activates automatically when the user is near death

Consumable. Clears you of mind-altering effects induced by <Authorities>. However, if the level of the <Authority> is higher than that of your incarnation level, it is possible for this item to take either partial or no effect

Cancels the usage of a <Lizard’s Tail>. Disappears upon use.

As <Lizard’s Tail>, but cannot be canceled out by use of a <Trapper>.

Divine Relics

Atë’s Birthday (<Fable> Omega Relic (Song))

A song of woe, death, and rebirth. When performed by the incarnation of Atë, all inducements of suffering, misery, or suicidality are enhanced by the incarnation level of the incarnation of Atë. Additionally, while the song is performed, a biting cold may be manifested, sparing only those who understand the mercy of the frozen world

Mythic Relic: Gown of Eris (Divinity Stored: 13,200)

Provides protection from law-aligned attacks. The appearance of this relic can be freely manipulated to resemble any other article of clothing. May be imbued with divinity to accomplish certain effects

-Crash the Party: 1,000
Allows you to appear at any location once per day so long as it lacks any divine protection status, so long as you know that a person of whose name you are aware resides there. Using this ability with incorrect information will result in its use being sealed for 10 days

-Toss the Apple: 5,000
Creates an illusory golden apple that all individuals in eye shot will be compelled to pursue

-Mother of Chaos: 10,000
Increases the effective level of all mind altering authorities, titles, or miracles related to a <Primary Myth> associated with chaos or discord by your incarnation level for 1 hour

Gaia’s Protection <Fable: Epsilon> (0/10,000)

Uses stored divinity against physical and divinity-based attacks performed by individuals judged to be a <Threat to the World>, including the Penitent, or mortals or incarnations with the motive and means to cause significant damage to the world itself. Additionally, while bearing this ring, anything under Gaia’s dominion, including plants or the earth, will be averted from any effort to harm you.

-Perfect Defense
While active, you are incapable of being physically harmed in any way. However, you are also unable to move so long as one or more individuals is observing you. Consumes divinity whenever you are hit by an attack

-Oakheart(1,000)
Creates a massive, nigh invulnerable wooden golem which defends the user for one minute. Can be used to amplify another wooden construct instead

Euterpe's Harp (Uncommon Relic: Copy of a Legendary Relic) (copy):

Can take the form of any instrument. Gives the owner proficiency with that instrument proportional to that of their highest musical talent, and enhances the effects of any sound based authorities when delivered in the form of music while this artifact is in use. Has secondary effects for the incarnation of <Euterpe>

Death Whistle (Rare Relic)

Marks all mortals who hear it as <Victims> for 24 hours. Whenever an incarnation kills a <Victim>, they gain one influence in addition to any gained with their directives. Sounds like an anguished scream.

Psyche’s Lamp (Super Rare Relic):

Consumes divinity. Reveals the true form and primary myth of incarnations using disguise or stealth authorities lower than your incarnation level. Only reveals the true form to you, and does not affect the target’s current shape

Brace of Ampelus (Super Rare Relic):

Consumes 1 divinity per hour. When equipped, authorities which read intentions, discern lies, or judge morality will show you as earnest, honest, and good, unless there is a substantial difference in incarnation level.

Jumbo Cat Plush (Black) (Common Relic) (0/20,000)

Stores divinity and can funnel it into other objects. Passively siphons divinity while you sleep whenever your pool is full

Rare Relic (Ring)- Lending Ring: Starting bid: 800 points

You may imbue the ring with any authority you possess. The holder of this ring may use that authority with its current effects but at an authority level of 1. Should you choose to do so, you may return the ring to your inventory at any time, regardless of the current holder, so long as you do not willingly transfer possession.

Uncommon Relic (Goblet)- Judgement of Tiresias

Creates a fluid that, when willingly consumed, changes your biological sex from male to female or vice versa. For intersex, it will give the opposite of your perceived sex

Rare Relic (Cloak)- Cloak of the Pegasus

When worn, allows you to fly at a velocity of 22 miles per hour (Roughly 10 meters per second), multiplied by your incarnation level. Consumes 10 divinity per minute, multiplied by the velocity increment of 22mph. Can store up to 2,000 divinity at a time.

Super Rare Relic (Glasses): Lenses of Theia

Widens your field of vision by 100%. While wearing these glasses, it becomes possible to see through illusions, as if you had a perception authority with an effective level of your incarnation level plus 4. Any secondary effects of the authorities responsible for the creation of illusions resisted in this way will also fail to affect you

Weapons

Arms of Khaos (Legendary Weapon)

An amorphous metallic black liquid that takes the shape of any weapon (though not the ammunition). Another weapon of grade <Fable Omega> or lower may be placed within this one, imparting its abilities both active and passive onto the <Arms of Khaos> for as long as it remains stored. The <Arms of Khaos> can hold only one other weapon at a time

Mythic Spear: Heaven’s Ruin

A thin ivory spear, sharpened beyond human capability and nigh indestructible. This weapon is more effective against incarnations, particularly those associated with the olympians, titans, or primordials. The weapon has multiple forms, and the ability to switch between them has a ten minute cooldown.

First Form: Skyfall
The spear is dyed a cerulean blue, stained with red streaks. While in this state, the user is capable of flight, or, should they be able to do so already, their flight speed is doubled at no additional divinity cost.

-<Active Ability: Cleave the Heavens> (200)
Allows you to cut an object within your line of sight as if it were in front of you. This attack may be dodged, but only if the target is aware of the rough mechanism by which this ability operates

Second Form: Uprising
The spear is dyed a lead gray, lined with purple cracks along the edges. While in this form, though the force needed to use the attack is not increased, the weight of the impact may be multiplied by 5 times the incarnation level of the wielder

-<Active Ability: Bolt of Judgment> (X00)
Sends a bolt of lightning out from the tip of the spear which automatically follows its intended target. This attack has the same incarnation level of the user

Third Form: Desire and Ruin
The spear is embossed in gold, laden with jewels resembling wine. While this form is active, all mind altering authorities associated with the myth of <Atë> have their effective level increased proportional to the difference in level, positive or negative, between the user and the target, up to a maximum of half the authority’s level.

Hunger of Charybdis (Legendary Trident) (0/10,000)

A nigh indestructible trident carved from the fangs of a fearsome sea monster. When held, the user can move and breathe freely in water and all accumulated physical and mental fatigue of the wielder will be converted into hunger instead. As the hunger increases, the strength and speed of the wielder will increase accordingly.

-<Active Ability: Bane of Fleets>:
You may manipulate nearby water in order to create whirlpools, tsunamis, or sharp bursts of highly pressurized water. Consumes divinity proportional to the scale of the effect

-<Active Ability: Vacuum Suction>:
Creates a massive airflow that pulls enemies towards you. Consumes divinity proportional to the scale of the effect

Sword of Damocles (Mythic Longsword) (0/50,000)

An ornately decorated longsword with a chain linking it to an iron bracelet. More effective against incarnations. Most effective against incarnations associated with law or government, or those who hold positions of public authority.

-<Active Ability: Unavoidable>:
Consumes divinity to correct your swings, ensuring that they are sufficiently lethal. Attacks made while this ability is active may be blocked or parried, but not dodged. Divinity used is proportional to the degree of the corrections necessary

-<Active Ability: Without Wielder>: (1,000)
The sword will automatically attack a designated target within a 50 foot radius, maintaining all benefits and authorities that would be applied if you were to wield it yourself

-<Active Ability: Downfall>: (10,000)
Upon using this ability, designate a target. For the next hour, the effective level of all authorities which contribute to the use of the <Sword of Damocles> including those which increase strength, speed, and perception are doubled. May be used once per week.

Gloves of Ruin (Rare Gauntlet)

Silken scarlet gloves with fingertips that can sharpen into deadly claws at will. Imbues the effects of <Touch of Madness> upon the target. If the incarnation using this weapon does not possess the authority <Touch of Madness>, it will imbue the effects of that authority at level 1

Cyclops’ Eye (Uncommon Firearm) (x1)

A modern weapon mass produced in the forge of a divine craftsman. Dramatically increases the effectiveness of the bullets against incarnations by imbuing them with divinity.

Phylonoe’s Mercy (Mythic Dagger) [0/1,000]

A dagger crafted to the precise specifications of the incarnation of Phylonoe. Significantly mitigates an incarnation’s defenses when aimed at a vital spot. Much more effective against beasts, monsters, and incarnations of a higher level.

<Active Ability: Channel the Goddess>: You may use the divinity stored in this dagger to temporarily use the <EX> rated authority [Mistress of the Hunt]

You may only imbue divinity into this dagger after a successful hunt

Holds additional effects for the Incarnation of Phylonoe

-Mistress of the Hunt (EX)

Increases your speed, strength, and endurance, proportional to the physical capabilities (including those enhanced by authorities) of your prey. Has an increased effect against <Beasts>, <Monsters>, and male incarnations (not to be confused with incarnations of male <Myths>

Paris’s Courage (Rare Dud Sword):

A bronze shortsword forged as an archer’s sidearm. When in the presence of a more powerful incarnation, the blade emits a panicked scream that can be heard by anyone but yourself or your allies

Athena’s Tears (Super Rare Spear)

A translucent icicle spear crystalized from the bitter tears of a friend. Pierces the defense authorities of other incarnations, proportional to the level of the wielder. More effective against non-beast incarnations.

<Active Ability, Mourner’s Wail> (4): Releases a cry of sadness, lowering the morale of all enemies. Additionally, the cries from this ability qualify as your own voice for the purposes of other authorities

Authority Crystals

Around Every Corner (1):

Allows you to observe any individual who has succumb to your divinity within ten miles, multiplied by the level of this authority

Born of Vengeance, Born of Blood (1)

Increases your strength, stamina, and regenerative capabilities when fighting against an individual with whom you have a personal grudge, or who has a primary myth of or relating to the <Olympians>

Cutting Malice (1)

Shrouds your attacks in divinity drenched in spite. Increases the damage of your strikes proportional to the malice within your heart and the level of this authority.

Cackle (3):

You may infuse your laughter with <Divinity>, causing temporary panic in any mortals that hear it. Additionally, you can use any currently affected mortals who can hear your laughter as a point of origin for your other authorities at an increased cost proportional to distance. Does not function over recordings or broadcasts.

The effects of this authority linger for 120 seconds after the termination of its use.

It becomes possible for individuals affected by your <Cackle> to personally recreate the first level effects of one authority specified before a specific continuous use of this authority using their own divinity until the effects of this authority wear off. However, this effect does not apply to transformation authorities

Ghostly Constitution (3):

Allows you to temporarily become intangible, allowing you to pass through physical objects. However, this effect does not work on divine relics or weapons of grade <Rare> or greater. You do not need to breathe while in this state

Blessing of Priapus (EX) [Dud]

Induces priapism and increases the size of your phallus by 12 inches. Has no effect on women

Body of Zagreus (1)

Parts of your body which are removed are able to function as if they were still attached and can be reattached more easily for up to one hour, so long as they remain within a 10 foot radius of you

Eyes of the Kingsman (1):

Allows your divinity sense to coincide with your vision, allowing you to see divinity even in the absence of a generally visible effect

Soul Eater (EX):

Your divinity pool increases by ten per effective incarnation level (minimum of 1) whenever you directly kill another person

Lightbringer’s Spotlight (6)

Creates dazzling lights from your divinity, inspiring awe in those who view you. Enhances the effectiveness of your performances, as well as any other abilities which depend on them. It is possible to make the light imperceptible to mortals and lower level incarnations while maintaining its effect (though with the effective level reduced by 1). The light may be recorded, including when made invisible, and the recording will share the properties of the authority in person.

The light takes on a cinematic character in line with the nature of your performance and can be freely manipulated by you for dramatic effect.

Here and There (1)

It is possible to mark one object, animate or inanimate, with this authority by touching it. Then, it is possible to swap positions with that object, so long as it remains within a 1 kilometer radius. If the object is ever outside that radius, it will become unmarked. You may freely unmark an object and choose to mark another instead. The switching function of this authority may only be used once every thirty seconds, and consumes divinity proportional to the distance and mass of yourself and the object.

Divine Will (8):

Helps you resist and recover from mind altering effects and notifies you of when you are the effects of a trait, title, or authority which induces mind altering effects. You may extend the benefits of this authority to other people by making physical contact. Additionally, you may create set points of cognition to which you may return, though doing so will cause you to lose all memories between the most recent set point and the time of use. Can be overwhelmed by an authority of a higher level.

Bolt From The Blue (1)

Manifests a powerful burst of electric energy. When striking an unsuspecting target, this ability bypasses all defense authorities within 5 levels of this one. May only be used once every minute.

Sidewinder (1)

Allows you to inject divinity into your feet, gliding smoothly over any surface and increasing your movement speed

Weeping Executioner (EX)

Enhances all offensive authorities used to directly harm another proportional to your feelings of guilt or remorse for causing the injury, as well as the sympathy you have towards the target, with a maximum output increase equal to the level of the affected authority. This authority incurs no cost, but increases the cost of the amplified authorities proportional to their increase in effective level

Burden of the Martyr (1)

Allows you to heal injuries on an ally by making physical contact. However, the injuries will be amplified and then transferred to yourself

Puppeteer's Finesse (1)

When active, slightly amplifies the physical capabilities of all people within a 100 foot radius who are acting directly under your orders

Flagellant's Helm (EX)

Covers your head in divinity, blocking your sight, smell, and taste and inflicting severe physical pain. Even by adding new body parts or using authorities or miracles, it becomes impossible for you to access any of these sensations while this authority is active. While this authority is active, any number of physical enhancement authorities are increased by your incarnation level. Consumes a number of divinity per second equal to the number of levels gained in this way.

Walking Parapet (1)

Creates a construct out of nearby materials that blocks incoming damage
