verimob is actually taking over my entire brain at this point i love verity and thatmob SOOOO MUCH it is crayz i am so deadass when i say i am their number one fan that is MY title i am holding onto that title with my entire life because nobody understands how much i adore them~ verity is such an interesting character... the contrast between his friendly personality and the horror surrounding him is one of my favorite things about himmmmm.. THATMOB. i love him so much too and i feel like i could talk about him just as much as i talk about verity~ there's something so fun about the contrast between mob and verity.. liek.imagine downloading something that is supposed to help you in minecraft only for it to slowly become the thing you have to worry about the most 
he has a purpose he helps mob and he presents himself as a companion. i love that mob's side of the dynamic gives us someone trying to understand what is going on while verity seems to be keeping things to himself. i will NEVER shut up about either of them the thing that gets me even more about their pairing is the obsession tropeeI LOVE THIS TROPE SO MUCH the idea of a character becoming so attached to someone that their understanding of affection starts getting mixed up with wanting control over that person seeing a character struggle with that distinction is so vary interesting ...with verity him becoming fixated on mob makes the whole dynamic more compelling because his attachment exists alongside all the other unsettling things about him there's whole questions of what he actually wants from mob and what his feelings even mean to him?? does he understand attachment the way a person would? does he understand why someone might want space from him? does he see mob as someone he cares about or something he believes should belong to him????? I Could think abt that 5ever.. much what i love about this kind of trope it gives you so much to think about without needing to make the relationship healthy.. the messy parts are what make it interesting to explore as a peice of fiction. also a fan of that the horror and the attachment can exist alongside each other in their dynamic well verity is supposed to be a helpful companion but the longer things go on more that idea starts feeling uncomfortable comes up!!!!!!!!!!!! i get verity might not understand that closeness can't simply be demanded he can want companionship and still behave in ways that make the other person feel unsafe and someone can want another person to stay while doing things that make staying harder and harder
makes you wonder whether verity understands the consequences of his own behavior or if he is so focused on what he wants that mob's feelings become secondary to him and because verity is such an unusual character there are so many different ways to interpret his behavior.. i love having a ship that makes me this excited to talk about fiction
verimob will always be my OTP. i love verity i love mob and i love everything about their dynamic that gives me so much to think about~ i love the contrast between their personalities and the way their relationship leaves so much room for a discussion i love that i can appreciate the characters individually and still lose my mind whenever i think about them together i love having a ship that makes me want to write long paragraphs about it just because i have too many thoughts and nowhere else to put them i love being able to enjoy something fictional this much and i love that no matter how many times i talk about verimob i still get excited about them all over again i rly don't think i could ever get tired of these two
