GFL2 Guide
May 1 Update: added calibration section, updated stamina section, other minor updates
With the new boundary push mode, you now get more than enough "free" gifts - gifts are now worthless (like RAM) and you should never choose gifts over anything else (dispatch, event shop, etc.)
Extreme calibration
First you need to decide if an attachment has good enough base stats - I can't tell you what the threshold should be yet, but personally I'm starting with attachments that need 5 or less boosts to bring to max base stats.
Then you need to do calibration until you get a good enough roll.
Calibration is like rolling 3 20-sided die (4 for muzzles), each roll costs 20k and you keep your best roll.
Then you need to spend 50k gold times the difference between the max possible roll and your best roll (and 1 special boost chip for each 50k).
If you consider only the gold cost, you should stop once you roll 45 or higher (59 or higher for muzzles).
Boost chips are limited, you should try to roll higher based on how much you think the boost chips are worth.
For example, if your max roll is 45 and you think the boost chips are worth more than 2288 gold, you should keep rolling
This is assuming average luck (you can get unlucky and spend millions without getting a better roll)

Income
buy monthly pass and battle pass.
"but anon-sama, the value guide has battle pass at 139.14, that's bad value!" - that guide is WRONG, the value is 184.18 (3rd best recurring value after monthly pass and recruitment gift box. 2nd best if you value the cores). if you don't understand why, you might be a dork! you can dissassemble the gold weapon
note 30 doritos = 1 pull (after shop update)
Every 21 days:
3350 main event (number for daiyan event including the trial stage, future events should give more?)
1890 monthly pass (80 daily + 300 every 30 days)
1305 daily pvp (225 weekly + 30 daily)
1260 daily quests (60 daily)
1191 battle pass (145 free and 1840 paid, every 35 days)
1100 gunsmoke (300 personal score, 300 platoon score, 500 top 5%)
1000+ side events (low estimate, probably closer to 2000?)
750 expansion drills (500 every 2 weeks)
570 PVA clear (190 weekly)
517.81 growth stack (5 tickets monthly)
420 daily patrols (20 daily)
360 bounties (4 times 30 weekly)
300 maintenance compensation (1 every 3 weeks?)
225 platoon shop (5 weekly fragments converted to doritos)
207.12 monthly pvp (300 monthly)
200 survey (1 every 3 weeks?)
155.34 boss shop (15 monthly fragments converted to doritos)
90 login sheet (15 twice per week)
total: 14891 (99 pulls)
So the income should be enough to pull at least v0 of every doll. And it will increase over time (new modes / PVA waves /etc.)
See the Gacha section at the bottom for details.
Unreliable income:
??? (low number) the daily free box
??? (50-100 weekly?) platoon boxes
500-600 weekly mystery box
150-200 every 35 days from battle pass overflow (86 overflow levels, 4% chance of 50 each)
??? main story chapters
Black tickets (these are worth some orange tickets via doritos):
2 weekly from dispatch shop + login sheet
4 every 3 weeks from gunsmoke
3 every 3 weeks from main event shop
10 monthly from growth stack + boss shop
5 from battle pass every 5 weeks
total: ~23 per 3 weeks + some amount from side events/new story chapters
Mystery box
Mystery box is a major source of pull income you so don't want to miss out on your 100 weekly pulls.
- Rates seem to be 0.6% for gold and 6% for purple (like normal gacha but without pity).
- Out of 525 pulls I got 4 gold (0.76%) and 13 purple (2.48%), this is worth nearly 20 orange tickets.
- You get almost 10% "cashback" via exp/gold pulls (I got 9.6% on average) that you can convert back to mystery box coins (so you only need to farm 90 coins a week or so for the 100 pulls)
- You get more RAM than you ever need
- With mystery box + platoon rewards + side events you will get enough t1-t5 conductors without ever farming or buying them, you will only need to buy/craft/etc. t6 conductors
Stamina
2x attachments > 2x gold > 2x exp > exp
RAM: never
Conductors: t6 when there's a 2x, otherwise never
If you have your 100 coins farmed and don't need to level any dolls/guns, you can spend stamina on non-2x gold/attachments instead of exp
Shops
Event: skip t1-t5 conductors. can skip skins/common keys (the common keys suck) if you're not a collector. t6 conductors are worth getting if you don't have enough (better deal than farming without 2x rewards). update it looks like side events have stopped giving out t1 conductors, so you might have to buy some from the event shop after all. you get 5 from gunsmoke so you need 15 more if you're getting every doll
Boss: core and gold (weekly), fragments and tickets(monthly), use excess currency for gifts/attachments (whichever you prefer, both are bad but there's nothing better)
Dispatch: everything (weekly).
Platoon: boost chip>fragments>permanent shop>gold>exp
Growth stack: tickets/boost chip>gold/exp. you need 310 currency for the tickets and boost chips, that's ~100 pulls worth (dissassemble blue weapons). make sure to save enough currency for tickets/chips if you're saving pulls.
Doritos shop: wait for shop update, DO NOT BUY WEAPONS
Other
Always take exp from dispatch boxes.
Dispatches: 2 on gold, 3 on exp
Choose t6 conductors in the fragrance gift boxes
Gold is worth more than exp (you get less gold per stamina), so farm gold in dispatch and trade exp for mystery box coins
Gacha
The rate is 0.6% for the first 58 pulls then the rate starts increasing linearly up to 100%. (for pulls after #58 the rate is (x-58)/22
)
There is a "50/50" system which means half the time you need to pull twice to get the target unit.
Gold rolls take precedence but don't reset the purple pity. The advertised 13% rate doesn't take this into account - the real purple rate is 12.92%.
Weapon banners have higher rates: 0.7% and (x-50)/20
after 50 pulls, and only 25% chance of needing to pull twice. The base purple rate is also increased to 7% (effective rate 13.46%).
Black tickets are worth 22.35% of an orange ticket.
"Cashback" mechanics via doritos means the # of pulls saved needed is 12.92% less, and an extra 5 less in lost 50/50 cases. The numbers below don't take this into account.
For non-weapon banners:
- hard pity is impossible (the real "hard" pity is closer to 70)
- 79.55 pulls on average with 50/50 (53.03 without)
- less than 1% chance of needing more than 134 pulls
