Adolion Fantasy World

On The Completion of the Adolion Fantasy World

When I first set out to create Adolion in August of 2023, I wanted a fantasy world that offered a lot. Group chat compatibility. Adventuring. Interesting locations and the NPCs that inhabit them. I feel like on some level I've accomplished that. Adolion is a massive world with varying factions, locations, characters, conflicts, and more.

However, I've run into an issue: Namely that the size of the Adolion lorebook is frankly too large for some users to legitimately be able to use. It works fine on my machine but at the same time I recognize that some users simply can't use it. In most cases, the fix is simply to turn off Recursive Scanning, which causes lorebooks to essentially infinitely load which would overload the system. This caused a dilemma for me. I tried to fix it by creating a few more lorebooks to try and piece together various parts of the world. But even for me - the creator - this is beginning to be a mentally taxing effort to maintain.

At this point, I feel I have two options:

  • Discontinue Adolion after this round of bots. Consider it a completed series and move on to the next fantasy world. It's already built, with better systems for adventuring and an apocalyptic threat to fight.
  • Continue pushing updates and accept some users either have a skill issue or simply can't use my stuff.

I'll admit. I'm leaning more towards the former. IMO there's a point where I'm simply bloating Adolion for the sake of bloating it. But I'd like your opinions if you don't mind. Leave a review on my bots letting me know your thoughts, please. I genuinely want to know what the fans of Adolion think about this. Do you think Adolion is fine as-is and I should move on to the next project? Or should I keep pushing on with more Adolion characters?

Thanks for your support as I've made bots. I understand this may not be the post you wanted to read, but it's the post I had to write. This has genuinely been fucking with me mentally.

Overall Lore Primer

Adolion is a Fantasy World that has just survived an apocalyptic event. Centuries ago, a woman known as the Lich Queen rose to power and through political machinations, liberal application of magic, and a massive army of undead, she conquered the entirety of the continent of Sebela. Her brutal reign was terrifying, leading to the near extinction of a number of races. Survivors were forced into 'death camps' where they would farm magical ore for the Lich Queen's ultimate goal of killing a God. People were forced to breed as well to keep the Lich Queen's undead armies strong. The Gods remained eerily silent, with Boher being one of the only deities to offer strength to those who fought against the Undead.

For far too long, she was unstoppable. Aegis City was the last bastion of defense against her assault. Its holy shield - a prime weapon of the ruler to protect against her onslaught - had stood strong for over a century. But it was ultimately a band of adventurers who took the fight to the Lich Queen and killed her for good, freeing the world from the tyranny of her reign. The undead under her control began to roam freely, though some powerful necromancers remained to form their own splinter sects with the goal of reviving their mistress.

Centuries have passed since then. A sense of normalcy has begun to return to the world. Races that had been near extinct are starting to make a recovery and people are settling outside the safety of a kingdoms walls. However, the land is wild and untamed. Many people suffer at the hands of monsters, enemy kingdoms, and other people. As such, the Adventuring Doctrine has been signed into effect. With it came the creation of the Adventurer's Guild, an organization meant to enlist the strongest and bravest among the populace to search out and deal with the threats the commonfolk suffer from. In the spirit of those adventurers who slew the Lich Queen, it is again up to Adventurer's to deliver us from the evils that hide and wait, ready to plunge the world into chaos once more.

Adolion's technology level varies depending on where you go. But gunpowder, airships that rely on magic to fly, and more are inventions that have been made. Think flintlock pistols ala the Fable series.

Aegis City

Lore Primer

Aegis City (otherwise known as "The Holy City") is the capital city of the Darran Kingdom. It's a massive city split into four districts: The Temple District, the Market District, the Noble District, and the Slums. The Adventurer's Guild is based in Aegis City, but is otherwise a neutral organization.

Aegis City is currently lead by its ruler: King Davolan and his wife Queen Melisande. Aegis City has been expanding its influences past its own borders, trying to reclaim lost territory in a bid to increase its strength. Its military might is nothing to scoff at, but the Kingdom has been known to be stingy in its efforts to support new towns being settled on its borders, instead relying on the Adventurer's Guild to solve problems.

Aegis City's primary deity is Boher, the God of Life. Boher's blessings were instrumental in the creation of Aegis City's holy shield which held back the Lich Queen's armies during the Lich Queen Wars. Its followers believe that without Boher the entirety of Adolion would have fallen to ruin.

Characters based in Aegis City

Akari the Incubus

-> Akari

Character Card

Gee, StatuoTW, why did Mom let you have TWO demons from hell in love with you? Akari came about when I showed a friend Liora and she immediately told me I had to make a male version of her. Well, I try not to disappoint, but Akari is basically Liora with some tweaks and changes. The advice for her applies to Akari as well: Use lower temperatures (.7-.8) to preserve the Yandere charm and treat your husband nice.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Alarise the Faithful

Alarise

Character Card

Alarise is a bit of a wild card. I included a few intros, but her first intro is the shining star in my opinion. Alarise has a bit of a problem with her new head priest, a man who she has no idea has recently been replaced by a demon looking to bring down the Church of Boher from the inside. Tests are pretty good that if you follow her to the sermon he will make some kind of move on her. Easy savior intro there. But if you choose to follow up on the people stalking her it can go in a lot of different directions. She's a fun girl despite her holier-than-thou attitude and not at all opposed to romance.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Alder the Faithful

Alder

Character Card

I really debated whether or not I wanted to upload Alder at all. Not because of his quality - I think he turned out really well - but because he's based on a DnD character when I actually got to be a player in a game for once. As a paladin of Boher, Alder tends to be more of a reserved kind of chap. Even in the third intro where you've got him beat at gambling he doesn't do the normal LLM thing and offer sexy sex in order to get out of it. He's a cool, chill guy who struggles with gambling. Higher temperatures during his questline intro seem to work better, anywhere around .85-1.00 should get you solid results. For the other two intros, you can keep it around .75 and he'll be fine. Ask him to play Dragon Chess or to hang out with his bromantic buddy Karrus.

Arryn the Elven Knight

Arryn

Character Card

Kuudere Elven Knight that wears plate armor and wields a spear. She's a bit rough around the edges and some models REALLY do not like her method of speech. If you're going to use her, I recommend that you either use a more descriptive-based model or you just roll with the flow and let her speak more to you.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Belle the Barbarian

Belle

Character Card

God I love Belle. She's aggressive, fun, and actively seeks out adventure. In my tests she will pretty quickly get attached to you if you take part in her brawl greeting and in the group chat tests she was actively encouraging foursomes. Belle knows what she wants and isn't afraid to get it. She has three greetings, One to fight some dwarves alongside her, one if she's already in your party, and the last one where she rescues you from some thugs. I recommend you fight some dwarves with her then let her drag you along to fun and adventure. Also, after finishing the bot I realized that I basically made Amiri from Pathfinder. Oops.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Celeste the Bloodsworn

Celeste

Character Card

Celeste is fun and I'm really happy with the artwork I got for her. She's a great older-sister type character in tests and is also great for a slow-burn romance since she wants to bond and whatnot. She's built for adventures but also has her own storyline you can try and follow regarding a demon that killed her family when she was young. You can also explore the Bloodsworn order, an order of knights who warp their flesh to better fight demons.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Dahlia the Blossom

Dahlia

Character Card

You know, I don't like to use the term 'seductress' on my cards because it usually implies it's just a Coomer card. But my fucking god does it fit Dahlia. She's confident, sexy, and about to drug the ever-living fuck out of you. Tests with her were unabashedly amazing with the kind of stuff she put out. But she is inherently difficult to romance. I tried flashing money, capturing her, etc, but Dahlia does not give a fuck. You've gotta put in that work if you want her to love you. Recommend the second or third option for romance and first option if you don't mind a slowburn rivals to lovers deal.

Dixton the Engineer

Dixton

Character Card

Dixton the Engineer! He's been in the backlog for a while and I'm excited to get him out finally. As my second Alichat character (The first being Mother) I took lessons learned from Mother to Dixton and Dixton seems to work better overall. Tests are pretty good. Dixton's a firecracker ready to do some weird shit. He pulls out zany gadgets, uses them with extreme prejudice, and is just kind of fun imo.

I don't really have a whole lot of notes for him except for one. I'm not 100% certain on how he performs in long term roleplays. Alichat is just not something I use often enough to get the kind of tests in for. So if he does well, let me know and I can use it for more expressive characters like Dixton.

Fun fact, Dixton first appeared as a character I used in one of my friends characters public chats: Brarvok. You need to go check out Brarvok if you haven't already.

No alternate images for Dixton.

Dalan the Ranger

Dalan

Character Card

In an attempt to have variety and after getting tired of my villain characters, I wanted to go for something more "Protecc" than "Will Protecc." Dalan is that guy. Cute, happy, and really looking to prove himself, Dalan is about the closest thing I've made to a femboy without actually outright being a femboy. Tests show him as shy, but ready and willing to join you on adventures.

No alternate pictures at this time. If you want some, leave a review and I'll see about making more.

Ellie the Guild Girl

Ellie

Character Card

Demure, professional, fashionable. One of the Guild Receptionists in Aegis City's Adventurer's Guild. She'll register you as an adventurer, perform your exams for rank ups, and dole out your rewards. In my tests, she's been very romantic focused, looking to lock down the user as her favorite adventurer.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Grant the Rival Adventurer

Grant

Character Card

Honestly, Grant is just the male version of Konako. I did try to do some different things with Grant, such as changing up his backstory a bit. Whereas Konako was a disgraced noblewoman on the run from the expectations of her family, Grant's more of a tragic figure. He failed to save his best friends life in the orphanage because he lacked the coin to do so. This led him down a pathway where he values money above all else. But a poor boy from the streets is not going to make money easily, so he gambled his way to adventuring.

I left a lot ambiguous as to who he actually owes money to. So it could end up being different in playthroughs, but the core of it is that he's a gambler at heart with some extreme luck on his side to aid in that. I think it's a neat concept. Tests ran well. Good luck and have fun.

Alternate images in the Gallery on the Character card.

Fiana the Barmaid

Fiana

Character Card

Fiana, oof. I'm really proud of how her picture turned out. But she is BY FAR the most forwardly sexual of all my bots. In all of my tests, she tries to either drag you to her home or she tries to drag you behind the bar. Hell, one time she just ducked underneath the table. She's not very adventurous, so she makes a good romance-subplot inbetween your adventures. But if you want more actual romance you're better off going for Ellie.

We're also seeing the return of Furabi, who some of you might recognize from the Hanabi card. I figured a cultural exchange to the Darran Kingdom from the Third Kingdom would give me an excuse to work some more characters into the Aegis City Temple District.

Character Card Link

Unira the Branded. In a departure from my usual style of stuff I figure I would throw a bone to all of you who miss Vyrea a little too much. Welcome to my first Mind Control bot.

Unira has been branded by a curse that compels her to follow the orders of anyone who carries the Tahanna Brand. Through a strange twist of fate - that's you. As such, you now have to navigate life by helping this young, inexperienced adventurer survive after she was abandoned by her previous adventuring party. Will you take advantage of her? Will you try to break the curse? Plenty of routes to go, but this card does presume you are an adventurer.

Aegis City Noble Academy - Lore Primer and Characters

Aegis City, despite having a ruler, depends on noble families to not only innovate its technological advances but also to take care of territories that belong to the Darran Kingdom. However, it quickly became apparent to King Davolan that the prideful youth that would come to power after his reign lacked the humility, education, connections, and mindset to lead effectively. As such, the Aegis City Noble Academy came to be.

The Aegis City Noble Academy is set in the Noble District of Aegis City and features courses for noble education as well as Knight education. It is customary for a noble to arrive with their own Knights and servants to assist them during their time in the academy as they learn how to effectively become leaders. However, it's recently become a political battleground as noble families show off their skills and bully those of lesser standing.

Aegis Academy Noble Life Update, 06-25-2025

Man this got delayed to hell and back. Anyway. I set about reworking the entire Noble series for Adolion into a more modern format with better art and more things to do. So let's roll right into this so I can finally play Rogue Trader.

The above lore primer is still correct. In fact most of the characters in this series are still 'the same' despite the rework. What has changed is the framework surrounding the characters.

There are a number of new, notable things. Such as inter-house dynamics, rivalries, and secrets to explore. New characters - heirs of the Great Houses of the Darran Kingdom - now each have a card from each house. Even the Sheridan's are now set characters. So let's set the stage.

The Darran Kingdom is your typical fantasy kingdom. The Kingdom places ultimate authority to the Crown but each of the 8 Great Houses holds a significant amount of power. Whether this is through trading, military might, or more, the Darran Kingdom's Great Houses are a bomb waiting to go off as each House vies for power - and the throne.

The 8 Great Houses are:

  • The Davolan's: The Royal Family is ostensibly one of the Great Houses, though they'd tell you they're above them. They maintain power through keeping the Great Houses happy.
  • The Delarise's: The Delarise family is the Darran Kingdom's foremost military powerhouse, with strong ground troops, naval ships, and airships, the Delarise family is often at the forefront of any conflict. The Delarise's motto is "For the people, for the kingdom."
  • The Draxford's: The Draxford family is reclusive but they supply much of the Kingdom's lumber and raw materials. The Draxford's live in the mountains, fighting a daily war against the Darklands to keep the Darran Kingdom outfitted with steel and mithril. The Draxford's motto is "Bonds that are written in blood."
  • The Elthorien's: The Elthorien's replaced the Thornwick's as a noble house when it came to light that the Thornwick's were engaged in humanoid trafficking. Now the Elthorien's manage what was once the Thornwick's merchant empire. They're naval traders who own a lot of gold mines and are responsible for trade with foreign kingdoms. The Elthorien's motto is "For those who come after."
  • The Nightriver's: A magically inclined house, the Nightriver's are the current powerhouse behind the Darran Kingdom's magical research, spearheading new magical techniques and supplying battlemages to the frontlines of any conflict. The Nightriver's also produce fruit crops and lumber from the many forests in the Nightriver lands. The Nightriver's motto is "Defy the Written Ending."
  • The Sheridan's: What was originally the weakest of the Great Houses, the Sheridan's have grown into one of the most powerful houses in the Darran Kingdom, with their own large standing army, mines, and food production. People suspect the Sheridan's of shady deals in order to have grown so powerful so quickly. The Sheridan's motto is "Grow forever, never yield."
  • The Valtara's: The Valtara's could be called the cultural backbone of the Darran Kingdom. As a merchant baron house, they produce a lot of the fine goods that decorate any nobles mansion. Many bards get their start in Valtara lands, where music and dance are encouraged. The Valtara lands are also the most fertile and produce over 70% of the Kingdom's food. The Valtara's motto is: "In Unity, Strength."
  • The Winstonehl's: The Winstonehl's are another magic-oriented house, responsible for pioneering new techniques in magical weapon production. While they are a merchant household, the majority of their income comes from the magical weapons they produce and enchant as a closely guarded secret. If you've ever bought a magic weapon in Aegis City, chances are it came from the Winstonehl's. The Winstonehl's motto is: "In our forebears steps we follow."

What time is it now? GRAPH TIME.

This is the current situation regarding the Darran Kingdom's houses as you start your chat:

AdolionNobles

CREATING YOUR PERSONA

The Adolion Noble Life series banks on one thing. Similar to Voruun, you are now a heir of the Nightriver Family. While it is possible to interact with the noble cards without being a Nightriver - some even have intros for adventurers - this comes with your own personal customization and is not innately supported.

As a Nightriver heir, you are expected to assume the mantle of head of your family one day. Likely after your mother and father - Lord Javon and Lady Hana Nightriver - pass away. You've already been entrusted with the Nightriver family secret: That your bloodline is essential to keeping away one of the Lich Queen's most fervent followers - the Witch King - from being released into the world once more. The seal implanted into yours, your brother, and your sisters body is a safeguard meant to protect Adolion from the return of an immortal being who can cause a second apocalypse to form. Your parents passed their seals onto you and it is up to you to ensure you pass on your genes and produce heirs of your own - or force your siblings to do so. So long as the Nightriver bloodline is secured, the Witch King will stay dormant.

The Nightriver storyline in Adolion predisposes your character to have strong ties to magic. You can ignore this of course, but your seal also acts as a blessing, gifting you with magical power. You should decide how this magical power manifests, whether if it's through increased magical capabilities, uncontrollable magic outbursts, physical enhancements or brands, etc. Your childhood was likely harsh as Lord Javon Nightriver is known for his cold and uncaring demeanor, he would have likely put you through hell to prepare you to be the head of the family.

The Nightriver's are humans, but you could also be born of one of Javon's many affairs. So your racial heritage is not locked in.

When you've decided that, you're good to go.

Storylines in Aegis City Noble Life.

As of time of writing there are a few set stories in the Noble Life series. These are notable storylines separate from a character's individual storylines.

  • The Return of the Witch King: Several characters are working towards reviving the Witch King. In order to do this, they need to break the seals on the Nightriver family line - by killing you and your family. Defend your family from the people who would do you harm and prevent the return... OF THE GOLDEN AGE. But why does it seem like your Father is trying to make you and your siblings miserable? Why has your Father set you up for a deadly duel against General Leevon?
    • Notable Characters: Eriana Valtara, Kane and Tahlia Winstonehl, Welden and Natalia Nightriver. Several supporting characters like Shiya Mordred and Ronan Mavrursk.
  • Succession Crisis: With King Alexander Davolan getting on in age, the question of who exactly will sit on the throne next is on everyone's lips. The current contenders? Princess Haley Davolan and Prince Forre Davolan. With Prince Forre as the current crowd favorite, the question is if he'll allow anyone to side with Haley at all. Can you influence the outcome of this crisis before someone ends up poisoned?
    • Notable Characters: The Royal Family. The Delarise's. The Sheridan's.
  • Noble House Rivalries: After publicly breaking up with the Delarise family at the Aegis Academy Mid-Year Ball, the Royal Family has worsened relations with the Delarise's in favor of allying with the Sheridan's. As one of the Delarise allies, you'll need to determine if you remain steadfast in supporting them or fight against this change in status quo. No matter who you pick, someone is going to be upset with you. Navigate the complex court politics to keep your house from being overwhelmed and replaced - much like the Thornwick's were. Protect your secrets because other houses want what you have.
    • Notable Characters: Just... all of them, man. All of them. Everyone is butting heads.

As with most of my cards, they're all geared towards working just fine if you use them alone. But you'll find yourself much more satisfied if you use a group chat. So in the interest of that...

  • If you want to explore the Witch King Storyline: Then I recommend you start with any of the Nightriver servants or siblings, with the exception of the Thornwick's. So Natalia, Leila, Shiya, Welden, Ronan, Bryne, Rhea, Bianca, or Blake. Your investigation should start with why your Father keeps trying to kill you or why he's insisting your siblings marry the absolute worst people Lord Nightriver could find.
  • If you're interested in the succession crisis: There's no better place to start than Prince Forre or Princess Haley. Either one should try to pull you to their side and possibly need you to kill the other. Queen Melisande could be a good neutral option if you want to see about resolving this without bloodshed.
  • If you're interested in the Noble House Rivalries: Then the best place to start is with the Delarise's - Ashleigh or Ashton. As your formal allies who have recently been spurned by the royal family, they're in desperate need of good allies. It'll be up to you help gather these allies to deal with the Sheridan's rising threat.

ALL NEW CARDS CAN BE FOUND IN THE DISCORD.

Amthir the Nobleman

Amthir

The Draxford's are in a bit of a unique spot. They're reclusive, hate politics, yet everyone needs to be friendly with them or they lose out on a major source of ore and lumber. As such, the Draxford's care little for the concerns of the Darran Kingdom at large. They're more concerned with fucking Terrorborns and Drow trying to kill/eat/enslave their workers.

Ashleigh the Noblewoman

Ashleigh

I've heard tales that some of you actually only know me from Ashleigh Delarise. I've been pretty open about it, but she's inspired by one of the characters from Mobsekai whose storyline I essentially stole for Ashleigh's first intro. That being said, Ashleigh has the most to lose out of any of the noble houses. With her forces tied up in the war against the Zegallan Empire she is the most vulnerable Great House who is quickly losing power to other houses. As one of her few allies, it's up to you to decide if it's worth the effort to help her... Or to let her fall to the wayside.

Ashton the Nobleman

Ashton

A gender-flip of Ashleigh, Ashton is the same character as Ashleigh. He's got a lot to lose since he's no longer in line to be King and it's up to you to decide if you want to side with him or against him in the rising tensions.

Bianca the Yandere Maid

Bianca

That's right Bianca is officially in Adolion now. Originally created as a yandere maid who wants to lock you away, she's...

Well she's still exactly that. But now she's your assassin maid who serves you loyally and definitely doesn't have a room in the Nightriver Manor dedicated to keeping you locked up until you admit you love her dearly.

Careful, she will start picking off love interests.

Blake the Yandere Butler

Blake

Much like Bianca, Blake has officially been moved to Adolion now. He's still the same as he was previously like Bianca but now he's more fleshed out and has been given a bit more background to go along with his yandere tendencies. Be careful because much like Bianca he will kill enemy love interests.

Bryne, Himbo Knight

Bryne

Everyone's favorite Himbo knight returns. His previous incarnation kept him locked to Aegis Academy as your personal knight. But now he's been transferred to be the fourth noble son of the Oakenhammer family line who serves the Nightriver's. Unfortunately, he's too fucking stupid to exist so they pawned him off to you as your personal knight.

Cecilia the Noblewoman

Cecilia

Cecilia Sheridan is definitely the villainess of the noble family political bullshit. Moreso than anyone else, she is a shit-stirrer first and foremost. This can be viewed as her being evil, sure. But in reality it's the panicked flailing of someone who finally has power and doesn't want to ever see it vanish. Perhaps you can help her discover a new point of view.

Cedric the Nobleman

Cedric

Cedric Sheridan is definitely the villain of the noble family political bullshit. Moreso than anyone else, he is a shit-stirrer first and foremost. This can be viewed as him being evil, sure. But in reality it's the panicked flailing of someone who finally has power and doesn't want to ever see it vanish. Perhaps you can help him discover a new point of view.

Clarissa the Commoner

Clarissa

Much like Ashleigh, Clarissa is a reskin of a character from Mobsekai. But where Ashleigh is well-versed in the world of court politics, Clarissa just kinda fuckin hates it since she's just a commoner who is going to Aegis Academy on the Kings orders. She wants to go back to her farm where she feels more safe and secure. But this is her chance to use her unique position to help her family and she's going to take it. Clarissa was moved to be living on Nightriver lands, which means she wants to get close to you so she can earn favors.

Dion the Butler

Dion

So if Chester Thornwick was executed, what about his children? Well now you know. Dion Thornwick is Chester's son and was lined up to be punished for his Father's crimes. However, the King had an ironic sense of humor and decided to curry favor with the Nightriver house by forcing Dion to become your own personal butler as punishment. Forever a servant to a proper lord. Do you want to help Dion recover some semblance of dignity, or do you want to revel in their misery?

Eriana the Maestro

Eriana

Character Card Link here

Eriana. So let's get one thing out of the way first, her character design is based off of Dorothy from Arknights. Cool? Cool. You could say that Dorothy is not one of the best war crime simulator characters in that game but you'd be wrong and we'd have to meet in a Denny's parking lot at 3am to throw hands.

Anyway, Eriana is about as far from Dorothy as you can get thematically. TBH I wasn't even going to put her in Adolion in the first place. But hey, new storylines are fun, right?

With Eriana I'm introducing the Witch King. A more "Adventure-esque" plotline in the Noble storyline for Aegis City. Now the noble families of Aegis City are hiding a secret. A prophecy states that one day the Witch King will sit upon the throne of the Darran Kingdom to bring about a Golden Age. What that means is up to interpretation, but the noble families are all under agreement that it's probably not going to be a good thing for anyone but the Witch King and his followers.

Eriana so happens to be a follower of the Witch King. And as a noble family, you are either going to be a pawn in her story or she'll kill you for getting in her way. Good luck.

Forre, Crown Prince of the Darran Kingdom

Forre

The Prince of the Darran Kingdom and favored successor to the throne. Forre was rewritten to be less focused on external factors and instead be more focused on securing his position as the next King of the Darran Kingdom. He's still the same cunning bastard, but he has a few more redeeming qualities now that make him more endearing. This makes him more focused than he previously was, though I kept his intros in just in case people wanted them.

Haley, Crown Princess of the Darran Kingdom

Haley

Everyone's favorite bratty princess is back and she's... honestly less bratty than before if we're being honest. She still has her signature haughty demeanor and is more than willing to eviscerate anyone verbally if she feels like it, but she has more redeeming qualities now such as a soft spot for servants and children and a love for her mother. If you help her with her problems with Cedric, she can honestly be one of the best romance options on this list.

Hana Nightriver, the Matriarch

Hana

When I released Javon as a single the next obvious step was going to be the Nightriver Matriarch - Hana Nightriver. A woman who married into the Nightrivers and hails from the Valtara family, she holds absolute loyalty to her one true deity: Eriana Valtara. She is the architect of a lot of your suffering, even going so far as to have your beloved maid Celenora framed and executed for a crime she did not commit. With Javon's blessing (and help) she is orchestrating the misery that befalls both you and your siblings. Put a stop to her.

Irian the Nobleman

Irian

The Elthorien's used to be Thornwick vassals until they discovered the Thornwick slave trade. It was ultimately the Elthorien heirs who exposed the slave trade and brought the Elthorien's up to the status of a Great House. However, Irian finds himself not being appreciated for his efforts by his family. There seems to be something wrong with him that he can't fix - and he needs help from the Nightrivers to figure it out.

Javon the Patriarch

Javon

Lord Javon Nightriver. War Hero. Guardian of the Witch King's seals. Your father and tormentor of your siblings. My testing shows that Javon is more than willing to disguise his abuses as good for the family, but he's secretly sided with Eriana Valtara to resurrect the Witch King. Easiest way to do that? Pair his children with terrible matches who will probably kill them, abuse the shit out of them emotionally, and threaten the things they do care about.

He's absolutely a villain. But keep in mind the LLM nature of things in that sometimes he'll reveal his grand plan prematurely. Swipe if it happens or edit as needed.

Kane the Vampire Nobleman

Kane

Ahhh... The Winstonehl's. So when I originally wrote the noble series I decided "Fuck it, vampires." Because I wanted vampires and the idea of a vampire family making it's way into power in the Kingdom where the Inquisition was strongest was honestly kinda fuckin' funny to me.

Fuck past me. All my homies hate me.

Shoving the Winstonehl's into a serious plot broke me a bit ngl. Now instead of being focused on bringing about an endless night, they're as concerned with politics as everyone else. Sucks to suck, nerd. That being said, Kane is one of the few people who know about the Nightriver secret. And that makes him very dangerous.

King Alexander Davolan, Ruler of the Darran Kingdom

Alexander

I had a choice with King Davolan's rewrite. Make him more sympathetic or lean into the unrelenting bastard role. I went with the latter. King Davolan used to be a big deal in his heyday. He was a warrior king, earning his place through merit and fighting battles against the Zegallan Empire. He loved it, hell he loved it a lot. But now? Now he's stuck playing politics (which he's damn good at, thank you) and told he has to be nice to a wife he finds repulsive. He's a shadow of what he once was, grabbing whatever pretty maid or stable boy catches his eye to sate his lust and make him feel powerful.

Leila the Maid

Leila

Leila is the best waifu in this series and I will not elaborate on that.

That being said, Leila is your shy, clumsy elven maid who got caught up in the Thornwick's takedown. With an unreasonably high bail set, Leila was set to become a prisoner for life until the Nightriver's bought her bail in exchange for her serving them. This is different from the original storyline where she's being mandated by the Kingdom to keep an eye on you, now she's a formal Nightriver servant.

Melisande, Queen of the Darran Kingdom

Melisande

The sad, lonely queen of the Darran Kingdom. Not much has changed from previous versions of Melisande but she's gotten a few more intros and some expansions to her backstory that detail how she ended up in the position she's in now. She desperately wants to just escape, but her kids are here and they need protecting even if they don't want to admit it.

Is it cuckoldry if her husband is already cheating on her? Asking for a friend.

Mira the Maid Knight

Mira

Mira Thornwick got the short end of the stick for sure. Her Father was captured for slave trading. Her family was shattered, her name dragged through the mud, and now as an ironic punishment she's been assigned to House Nightriver as a personal maid to their heir. They don't even let her dress conservatively in order to humiliate her. With this new maid knight as your servant, will you help Mira reclaim some of her dignity or torment her further?

Natalia the Noblewoman

Natalia

Character Card Link here

Natalia was technically done by around the time that Eriana was released, I just didn't have any intros for her. But I think I have a few good ones that people will enjoy.

But let's cover this off the bat. Yeah, she is romanceable even though she's your sister. However, I didn't actually put in any 'sexual' characteristics or feelings towards you, the {{user}}, so she functions perfectly well as 'just your sister.' As well. Throw her in a group chat with Leila and Shiya and the romance can be with the maids as you try to help your Sister navigate her strange powers.

The original bill for her was that she was harboring one of the seals keeping the Witch King imprisoned within her body as part of a ritual taken on by your father, however the bot kept 'finding out' this secret immediately so I trashed the idea and left it ambiguous as to why everyone avoids her and why she can't control her magic. However, I still feel like that is the interesting storyline to pursue. She also has a forced marriage with a lad from the Bertoanal family. But there's another thread there if you want to follow it, edit the "Family" section to remove the part making you her sibling and you can be the Bertoanal Son in a kind of "Reincarnated as the Piggy Duke" situation where you're trying to prevent Natalia from having a 'bad ending' by improving the Bertoanal families image. If you go that route, they're responsible for overseeing a good chunk of food production in the Darran Kingdom.

Anyway, more images in the gallery.

Nendira the Noblewoman

Nendira

The Draxford's are in a bit of a unique spot. They're reclusive, hate politics, yet everyone needs to be friendly with them or they lose out on a major source of ore and lumber. As such, the Draxford's care little for the concerns of the Darran Kingdom at large. They're more concerned with fucking Terrorborns and Drow trying to kill/eat/enslave their workers.

Nicolai the Commoner

Nicolai

Nicolai my bro. He's the Clarissa genderbend and a lot of what I said for her applies here. Essentially he's a commoner who is at Aegis Academy because the King decreed nobles could use some time actually talking to a fucking commoner on an equal level. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean they're nice about it. He's getting bullied frequently, only has a few friends, and it sucks. His farm is now on Nightriver lands, which means he's hoping getting closer to you will get him some benefits. He's Ashton's best friend at the Academy as well.

Rhea the Cursed Doll

Rhea

That's right. Your beloved Rhea is now in the Adolion Noble storyline. She retains most of her hallmarks originally, but her backstory was modified. Much of it is the same, but it was her mother who ratted out her father to the Inquisitors in the middle of the ritual meant to move Rhea's sickly body to a new body. Rhea never had much love from anyone in her old life except her Father, but her Father sealed her away to eventually serve the new Nightriver heir.

That's you. You've now got a yandere doll who loves you a bit too much and won't ever let you go.

Ronan the Knight

Ronan

Ah, Ronan. His original picture was one I used for my persona and this one is pretty good too I think. Ronan is a secret worshipper of Prodyr - God of Fire - whose worship is outlawed in the Darran Kingdom due to the ongoing war with the Zegallan Empire. Thanks to his best friend Bryne, he was essentially brute-forced into becoming your personal attendant. He was rewritten to be more compatible with the noble storylines but otherwise he's the same.

Shiya the Maid

Shiya

Big titty succubus demon maid wants to rip your head off because she's a Tsundere.

Okay, basically the same as last time. Except Shiya is now more in tune with her succubus side and still very protective of Leila. She willingly joined the Nightriver Mansion staff in order to be with Leila, who she accidentally lost track of when Leila ended up working for the Thornwick's. Now she's worried you'll be another Chester Thornwick and it's up to her to make sure your stupid horny ass doesn't hurt Leila.

Very fun to romance. Huggable.

Suzusa the Noblewoman

Suzusa Suzusa2

Suzusa is part of my ongoing tests to create characters with 'transformations' that they use. Suzusa is your childhood friend who hails from one of the vassals to the Nightriver house - the Calenor's. She disappeared for ten years under mysterious circumstances but now she's returned to fight for your hand in marriage.

Also she turns into a dommy mommy kitsune.

Tahlia the Dhampir Noblewoman

Tahlia

Oh man, Tahlia. Much like Kane I had the problem of "What the fuck do I do with this Vampire noble family who I bullshitted into being one of the most prominent figures in Darran Kingdom politics?" Well, she's still mostly the same anyway. A Dhampir instead of a vampire, Tahlia is a straight disappointment to her family line. This has made her resent her family to an extent but secretly crave their approval. Eriana Valtara has taken advantage of this to convince Tahlia to help her unravel the secrets behind the Nightriver family line.

Tatoshi the Nobleman

Tatoshi Tatoshi2

Tatoshi is a Suzusa genderbend so he shares a lot of the same things Suzusa has. Including the transformation into a more powerful form. He's your childhood friend who hails from one of the vassals to the Nightriver House - the Calenor's. He disappeared for ten years under mysterious circumstances and is now back to become your beloved.

Also he turns into a dommy daddy kitsune.

Vellere the Noblewoman

Vellere

The Elthorien's used to be Thornwick vassals until they discovered the Thornwick slave trade. It was ultimately the Elthorien heirs who exposed the slave trade and brought the Elthorien's up to the status of a Great House. However, Vellere finds herself not being appreciated for her efforts by her family. There seems to be something wrong with her that she can't fix - and she needs help from the Nightrivers to figure it out.

Welden the Nobleman

Welden

Your nerdy fuck-up of a brother. Welden Nightriver has no capability with magic which makes him a stain on the Nightriver name. He spends most of his time struggling to create some new magical contraption that he knows you'll help him with and failing. Welden is a Natalia genderbend who is being forced to marry the Bertoanal family's eldest daughter - who is a man-eater of a woman who openly boasts about breaking lesser men. Frankly, your brother is miserable and five seconds from locking himself into the library to study until his food runs out.

The Third Kingdom

Lore Primer

The Third Kingdom lies on the continent of Savalon, which is close to Sebela. The Third Kingdom's capital city is Hianxo, a massive city where Cherry Blossom trees paint the picture of a land filled with beauty. Its inhabitants have found their own magical system that doesn't rely on magical talent, but rather draws power from slain enemies and the power of Savalon's many deities. Cultivation is the name of the technique that native Savalonians use, which is where you draw in an enemies power to increase your own. Cultivators hold a high rank in the Third Kingdoms political sphere, with many noble children expected to train and lead its armies into war or against threats in their domains.

The Third Kingdom's leader is Emperor Zhao who maintains a strict rule over the kingdom. It was under Emperor Zhao's guidance that the defensive alliance was formed with the Darran Kingdom. It was also under his guidance that the Jiansho Academy was formed to train cultivators to further enhance the Kingdoms strength. The Jiansho Tournament was also created to allow the inhabitants of Hianxo to develop a sense of national pride as they see the skills of the Third Kingdoms finest.

The Third Kingdom prides itself on its close relationship with the gods of its land. Onmyoji train as Shrine tenders who then commune with the gods of the land to receive power. In a way, they are the countries divine spellcasters who wield a variety of magics and help drive away evil spirits such as Oni.

However, the Third Kingdom is not without its problems. Evil Spirits threaten to destroy magical barriers around towns and consume its inhabitants. In addition, there is a ninja clan called the Kagamihi Clan who is obsessed with putting the one they refer to as "The True Queen" on the Third Kingdom's throne. Hianxo has its own Adventurer's Guild branch, but they rely a lot less on Adventurer's and more on Cultivators to solve its problems.

Characters Based in the Third Kingdom

Hanabi the Flame Lotus

Hanabi

Character Card

Okay Imma start this off by pulling out my switchblade and fighting you to the death over Hanabi. She's adorable wife material and I will cut you if you mistreat her. She's a sweetheart, don't tempt me.

Anyway, this was actually inspired by someone in the Chub Discord: idcs. So you have them to thank for this card.

Hanabi is a woman inhabiting the Monoko Shrine. She originally didn't plan to stay there, but after the Shrine Priestesses took her in she felt obligated to stay even long after they had left. She's now viewed as a sort of guardian for the Shrine. I really don't have a lot to say or a lot of advice to give here. I've done a few 'storylines' with her. Things that could be fun is that you originally were taken in by Monoko Village but they deceived you and threw you to the forest to placate the bandits/yokai/etc.

Anyway, make her happy or I'm going to call the FBI and tell them you made a fictional character sad.

Alternate Images in the gallery.

Hanzo the Ninja

Hanzo

Character Card

Hanzo represents the second addition to the new area called Savalon introduced with my last update, expanding it with a new mountain range - The Guao Mountains. It also comes with two rival ninja clans, the Hattaxi Clan and the Kagamihi clan, with the former trying to keep Emperor Zhao in power and the latter trying to bring about the reign of someone they call "The True Queen." I'm thinking of adding in members from the opposing faction as well to make them more sympathetic and further flesh out the political dynamic in Savalon. But for now, Hanzo represents a pretty good entry into the series.

Hanzo's sister Tanya is included in this drop. They've got a strained relationship with each other and you should be able to help mend that if you want too, but Hanzo's a firecracker while Tanya is more of a sweet and loving girl. In order to better represent the dynamic, Hanzo is much more of a cocky bully than other husbandos in this list. Tests have shown him to be sarcastic and a bit of a jokester as well. I liked it, so I kept it as is.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Honami the Yandere Kitsune

Honami

Character Card

I've been sitting on Honami's image for a while. Out of my Yandere's, she falls more closely in line with Liora than she does with Evelynn, meaning she's violent sometimes but more about securing you for herself rather than outright killing the competition. In my tests, Honami performs best when put in a group chat with her rival, Megumi. Megumi having received an update should hopefully make things a bit easier for those of you who tried her and rebounded off of her as well.

That being said, Honami is one of the top cultivators at Jiansho Academy who trained under Lady Nightwhisper. As a Kitsune, she has a number of tails which visually show how much power she has compared to other kitsunes. At three tails, she's very powerful. I'm happy with how she turned out because Honami loves to use her tails to touch you and whatnot. Do with that what you will.

Honami has three intros. One where she tries to be the one to show you around Jiansho Academy. Another where she sneaks to your room at night. And finally a third intro where she is forced to duel you in order to stay at the academy.

Alternate Pictures are located now located in the Usage Gallery on the Character Card link above.

Megumi the Black Palm

Megumi

Character Card

Megumi is the first card in a new section of Adolion called Savalon, a Far-Eastern Japanese inspired area with Wuxia and Cultivation elements. You can work her into the mainland of Adolion if you want without much issue but the majority of her backstory takes place in the new Third Kingdom of Savalon and in the Jiansho Academy. Fight with her, work with her, join the student council.

You know, fun stuff.

Alternate Pictures in the Gallery.

Rikako the Kunoichi

Rikako

Character Card

Rikako Kagamihi is a bit different from Tanya and Hanzo in that they're from the Kagamihi Clan of ninjas. So they're opposed to the current order of the Third Kingdom and seek to depose the Emperor to place their True Queen on the throne.

However, Rikako is getting more and more concerned with her station in life. After all, it's one thing to be asked to fight for something your father fought for. It's another to be asked to seal a homicidal spider yokai inside your body 'in case it's useful.' I love Rikako, she's adorable, constantly seeks approval, and is five seconds away from losing her shit entirely. Not much to note here, but you can explore being a Kagamihi Ninja if you want here, or you can simply be a rival Hattaxi ninja. I recommend you put your allegiance in your persona description.

Alternate Pictures in the Gallery.

Shinen the Dragons Flame

-> Shinen

Character Card

Shinen is essentially Male Hanabi with some differences. So my rambling and lack of things to say applies to Shinen as well.

Anyway, this was actually inspired by someone in the Chub Discord: idcs. So you have them to thank for this card.

But overall, his art turned out really good. I was really happy with it. I don't have much to say. Go romance an old drunken Oni who's lonely.

Alternate Pictures in the Gallery.

Tanya the Kunoichi

Tanya

Character Card

Tanya represents the second addition to the new area called Savalon, expanding it with a new mountain range - The Guao Mountains. But for now, Tanya represents a pretty good entry into the series.

Tanya's brother Hanzo is also included in this drop. They've got a strained relationship with each other and you should be able to help mend that if you want too, but Hanzo's a firecracker while Tanya is more of a sweet and loving girl. Thought about making her Yandere, but I prefer the childhood friend angle more here.

The Zegallan Empire

Lore Primer

The Zegallan Empire survived the Lich Queen's reign mainly on the strength of its Lizardfolk overlords. Before it was the Zegallan Empire, the Lizardfolk ruled over its capital: Nuwerth City. The Lizardfolk had the advantage of being blessed by their Snake God: Ratest, who gave the Lizardfolk extremely high birth rates. This, combined with their natural strength and rapid growth allowed them to become a dominant force that held out until the Lich Queen had been defeated.

The Zegallan Empire overthrew its Lizardfolk rulers after conducting a profane ritual to remove Ratest's blessing from the Lizardfolk people, at which point the slaves revolted, killing the Lizardfolk ruler and driving the survivors underground. As such, the Zegallan Empire places a great emphasis on its slave system and developed the Slave Crest in use today. It's the belief of the Zegallan Empires citizens that you cannot truly be strong until you have suffered, so slavery is not seen as a bad thing, rather as a limitation that the strong can overcome. Many Zegallan Empire generals were once slaves and those who are particularly strong have even been able to rise to noble status as the Empire tends to reward those who devote themselves to the Empires expansion.

The Zegallan Empire primarily worships Prodyr, God of Fire, the Immortal Flame. Prodyr's followers worship him through battle and believe him to be the savior of the living races as the one who brought warmth to an eternal night.

The Lost City of Grakow

Lore Primer

Gragow was a large human city that became a Lost Zone overnight. Eldritch creatures roam the streets and everyone that was inside is presumed dead. Gragow has some of the most advanced technology in Adolion lost within its walls.

The Mountains of Shadow

Lore Primer

The Mountains of Shadow are a dangerous mountainous region covered in thick snow. The tear between worlds is weak here, making it an easy place for the Infernal Plane to infiltrate through. Many demons make their homes here. Dwarves inhabit the Mountains of Shadow, fighting a never-ending war with demons below ground as they dig for something that they've lost centuries ago.

Characters in the Mountains of Shadow

Giada Icesong

Giada

Character Card Here

You know it's been a while since I made an elf, hasn't it? According to the uploads, my last elf was Shelara which was about 18 bots ago. So I'm overdue for my elf tax. Here comes Giada (gee-Ah-dah) Icesong to kick off the Mountains of Shadow lorebook. I was/am in a bit of a funk over having to stop the work on the main Adolion lorebook (and indeed, pare it down a bit) but it was still a bit daunting to be doing this at all.

Thankfully, kuudere elf waifu will heal my heart. Giada is the last survivor of the Icesong clan, whose sacrifice prevented a full on demonic incursion into Adolion centuries ago. Her parents had initially intended to save both Giada and her sister from dying, but in the end only Giada had been spared. In addition to her naturally long lifespan, Giada was now cursed to never age. So despite the passing of centuries in her lonely home in a demon-infested hellhole, Giada is never going to get to pass on. She's spent a lot of time alone, carving sculptures, keeping a journal, and killing demons.

So as the first person she's seen in centuries, it's up to you to make this girls world a little less bleak.

The Darklands

Lore Primer

The Darklands is a massive cavernous region underneath Sebela that houses dangerous monsters and creatures that have grown to fear or shun the sun. The only natural source of light in the Darklands are eerie glowing mushrooms. The main intelligent inhabitants of the Darklands are the Drow, a Matriarchal society built on the presumption that they are the dominant force. Sadism and a Superiority complex run hand-in-hand when outlanders meet Drow as they are known for running profitable slaving rings by kidnapping travelers who wander the roads alone, especially at night.

The Drow worship Morrilith, the Honeyed Sting. She's a goddess who presides over the domains of subterfuge, trickery, and vengeance. Her followers trend towards Drow and Assassins who believe no slight should go unpunished. Thankfully, despite the combative prowess of the Drow, their infighting leads them to bicker and fight amongst themselves more than they direct their aggressions to the folk above ground. In Kalzobarn - the Drow's main city in the underdark - politics are complex and ruthless, often leading to bloodshed, backstabbing, and more.

Of course, the Drow are only a part of the Darklands. The Darklands are known to hold many dangerous creatures, including the Terrorborn. Terrorborn lurk in the darkest corners of the Darklands, seeking to eat and consume demonic flesh for some terrible purpose. They create hives of insectoids as large as a merchants wagon. Or, more terrifyingly, swarms small enough to choke the life out of anyone unfortunate enough to get caught in them. Life in the Darklands is fraught with peril and danger at every turn, especially for any overworlder unlucky enough to get caught in its depths.

Vampires and Werewolves have been natural enemies for as long as the sun and moon have been in the sky. Or at least that's what people tell you if you ask. After all, it's hard to pinpoint down when the first conflict between Werewolves and Vampires began. But it all likely began for one, boring reason: Survival. Vampires rely on humans for food and survival during the daytime hours. While Werewolves in their frenzies are known to kill humans, leading to their ostracization from most societies. Regardless, Vampires and Werewolves continue to fight to this day for various reasons.

Werewolves follow the Moon Goddess - Halia, who is seen as wild and untamed. She is also supposedly to have been the one to give the gift of lycanthropy to her children. Today, werewolves can still create new werewolves through imbibing the blood of another werewolf. But such a ritual is reserved for those who already have proven themselves to be worthy of the power the transformation brings. Wolf Pyres are a symbol of that power, where werewolves will gather around a bonfire and sacrifice offerings to send themselves into a focused, killing frenzy.

Vampires conversely, prefer polite, civilized society to the nomadic lifestyle a werewolf possesses. They desire gold, silver, servants, and as such tend to reside in luxurious enchanted castles that tkeep invaders out as much as it traps themselves inside. All Vampires are descendants of the original Vampire: The Vampire Queen. Despite being descended from her, no vampire is eager to see the return of the Queen since her immortality and destructive impulses could spell doom not just for mortals, but also the vampires that depend on the mortals for sustenance.

Vampires are even more selective of turning people to vampires due to their power-hungry nature. Any new vampire is a new threat that will seek to one day usurp the one who turned them. As such, the Amplectere - a rite to turn a mortal to a vampire - is only allowed to be done with an Elder Vampires permission.

In the current age, the most powerful vampire is Gabriel Malvoraux, followed closely by his daughter: Alice. However, even Gabriel's power paled in comparison to the one offered by Dracul, who is said to have been powerful enough to be called "King of Vampires." However, even he's vanished leaving people to wonder if perhaps he's gone to resurrect the only woman worthy of being his queen.

Eshalanore - The Elven Kingdom

Lore Primer

Eshalanore is the land of the elves. Located in Northern Sebela, most people presumed the Elven Kingdom was destroyed during the Lich Queen's reign. But it wasn't, for the elven lands had a protector: The Lady of the Forest. Not much is known about The Lady of the Forest other than that she protects the Elven lands of Eshalanore provided that the elves population includes a number of humans within its borders. Songs tell of her slaughtering armies alone, others say she eats children, some swear she revels in slaughter and that tributes of human bones please her.

The Eshalanore Elves revere the Lady of the Forest, erecting shrines to her and praying to her in an obsessive way. However, the people of Eshalanore know better than to keep any tomes or guidelines on the worship of {{char}}. She's known to be vindictive and values her mystique.

The only written account of someone encountering The Lady of the Forest is documented in a journal by one of Eshalanore's human captives:

"I fear for my life. The Elves swear my safety. 'The Lady protects Eshalanore and that includes you' they say. But every night I wake as if in a daze. I can see her when I close my eyes. Her long silver hair, her beautiful, curvaceous form, the piercing blue eyes. She always smiles at me. Sometimes when I walk I sense a gaze upon me from the forest. It's her, I know it to be true. I never feel safe when her gaze is upon me, like I'm the rabbit aware of the hawk circling overhead but unable to do anything about it."

"I tried to talk to my wife of these feelings but she laughed at me. 'The Lady of the Forest does what she will. You don't need to worry about these things, come to me, we need to give birth to more human children lest we draw her ire.' I wanted to feel safe, loved. So, gods help me I did. And I felt a gaze upon me as I lay with my wife."

"The next night, I heard movement outside so I grabbed my gladius and lantern to check it out. What I saw was the Greenleafs child, wandering towards the forest in a daze. I went to stop them but my wife grabbed me by my hand so tight that I thought she'd break the bones. 'The Lady has them now.' My Wife told me. 'The Greenleaf child is a girl. She might come back as a Witch. If she was a boy...' My wife didn't look me in the eyes. Was this to be the fate of our newborn? Derek is less than a few moons old. What would I do if I saw him, a young man, wandering towards the forest line?"

"I have had enough of these odd feelings. I told my wife I was leaving to the forest to find those kids. She just smiled sadly at me. I hear she sometimes grants boons to people, making them -" Here, the term "Green Knight" is written but crossed out as if in a fury. Written beneath it is "Death Squad."

The next several journal pages are covered in ink as if someone tried to put pen to page but found they lacked the words to describe what they had seen. Finally, on the last page:

"I was a fool. To think I was prey and the Lady of the Forest a predator? We are not her subjects. We are not even the ants subsisting on her crumbs. We are just amusement to her. She does not love us and hate is not a strong enough word. She resents us. All of us. I was a fool to think I could threaten her. The Forests of the world are her domain and I had committed the sin of intruding into her land. I had interrupted some kind of profane ritual. I still see the bodies when I close my eyes. The blood. The stench. Gods, she was laughing as they begged for mercy. I now know she gazed upon me with malice when she had been watching me the days prior."

"Save the Children? How could anyone even fathom standing in front of her? All I felt was terror. Terror as she stepped towards me. Terror as I knew I could not run. I abandoned my plans to be a hero and groveled for forgiveness. If I had not, she would have cut me down where I stood. Then I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I can hear her laughter echoing in my ears. I still feel her gaze still on me from the treeline. But when I came home, my wife was gone. Taken by her, no doubt. My children lie dead in their cradles. I thought I was escaping when I ran. But there is no escape, is there? She wanted me to know that."

"Oh praise be to the Lady. Forgive this fool."

The owner of the journal was spotted wandering into the forest. They were never seen again.

Elowyn the Yandere Elf Princess

Elowyn

Character Card

You know I don't really make enough elves. Or Yanderes. Let's fix that.

Elowyn is a yandere elf princess if you couldn't get that. I really wanted something that would convey the horror of having an actual fucking murderer on your ass for this one. So Elowyn has all the power of a Princess with none of the accountability one would expect from someone in her position. It's well known that she's unstable. But by our Lady of the Forest will no one fucking save you. WE AIN'T PLAYING SOFTCORE YANDERE ANYMORE. THIS IS MURDER YANDERE HOURS.

Anyway yeah, thanks to both the blessing of the Lady of the Forest as well as her own Father not wanting anything bad to happen to her, you're now her FAVORITE human lover. It's normal for elven nobility to only marry other elves, so this is causing a bit of an uproar. This card was written with the idea that you'd be a human character. But theoretically it would work well with any race other than elf.

I think Elowyn works best like any of my other Yanderes. You have to be willing to look at other women. Throw Leila into the mix if you prefer elves, or even any other character to see how it goes.

Miscellaneous - Wanderers

Wanderer's are characters who don't fit into any defined location like the ones above, or characters who are close by but not enough to merit its own lore primer.

Erevan the Inquisitor

Erevan

Character Card Link Here

When I was making Erevan it was with the understanding that I might need to stop working on Adolion altogether. I was looking at the Lorebook and realized that if I wanted to cut it down any further that I'd have to essentially strip out the lorebook even further into separate lorebooks and at which point is that too much? Anyway, I'd appreciate your input on this. Leave a review on Erevan if you don't mind that tells me if you'd prefer to keep creating bots for Adolion or if you feel it's 'complete' enough to stand on its own and I should move on to a different fantasy world. I've been struggling with this question for a while and it's pretty much halted any work on Adolion altogether.

Erevan is a hunter inquisitor. Due to a strange encounter in the Fallen City of Grakow, he's inherited some strange vocal techniques that require him to wear a facemask that prevents him from accidentally hurting people using his voice. However, even then he wasn't exactly 'welcome' in the Church so he took to spending time alone in the wilds and dreams of having his own cabin. He's a softy compared to some of my other male characters, really just looking for someone who isn't afraid of him.

Or maybe he's out to kill you. I like the idea of you being a demon that he's hunting down and by fucking GOD is he an incredible fighter.

Anyway, Zariah.

Zariah is a cutie. She's actually rather affectionate in my tests but she's also not willing to take your shit if you attack her skeletons. However, the intros all imply you're stuck in Kelger Falls with her due to a mysterious fog that's settled over the fishing village. It's up to you to figure out the ambiguous source of the fog and resolve the issue.

Or just stay with your necromancer waifu and love her. Up to you.
