π Installation Instructions
1. ποΈ Clean Start
Uninstall any previous versions of Alternative A2DP Driver via Control Panel -> Programs and Features.
IMPORTANT: You must restart your PC after this step to clear the system driver cache.

2. πΏ Initial Setup
Run the AlternativeA2dpSetup-1.6.0.1 installer. Do not open the application yet.
3. π Apply "Crack" (File Overwrite)
Copy the files from the "ΠΊΡΡ-ΠΊΡΡ" folder and paste them into:
C:\Program Files\Luculent Systems\AltA2DP\
(Select "Replace files in destination" when Windows asks).
4. π Disable Signature Enforcement (DSE)
Windows blocks unofficial drivers by default. Choose one method to bypass this:
π οΈ Option A (DSE-Patcher):
- Run DSE-Patcher as Admin.
- Click Disable DSE.
- π« No reboot needed.
β¨οΈ Option B (CMD):
- Run CMD as Admin.
- Type:
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON - π Reboot required. After restarting, the message "test mode" will appear in the lower right corner.
5. βοΈ Driver Activation & Security Bypass
- Launch AltA2dpConfig.exe.
- Select your Bluetooth headphones from the list.
- Choose "Alternative A2DP Driver" in the dropdown and click Install.
CRITICAL: When the red warning appears (Windows can't verify publisher), you MUST click "Install this driver software anyway".
6. β Verification
To ensure it is working:
- Right-click the Speaker Icon (Taskbar) > Sounds > Playback.
- Right-click your Headphones > Properties > Advanced.
- You should now see options for 24-bit, 96000 Hz (Studio Quality).
7. π Restore System Security
β οΈ REMINDER: Re-enable protection once your driver is successfully installed.
- Patcher users: Click Restore DSE in the tool (or just reboot).
The bottom line DSE Status will change to "enabled".
- CMD users: Run CMD as Admin, type
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF, and reboot.After restarting, the "test mode" message will disappear and the standard driver signature verification will be enabled.
π οΈFine-Tuning
- For Music: Set LDAC to 990 kbps. If you hear "pops" or stutters, drop it to 660 kbps.
- For Gaming: Set the Buffer Size to the lowest stable value to eliminate audio delay.
- Hardware Switching: This driver only affects Bluetooth. Your 3.5mm wired jacks and USB headsets will continue to work perfectly without any extra configuration.
