Guide to Merging Personally Created Playlists or YouTube-Created Playlists into a Single Playlist
This guide will walk you through the process of combining your personal YouTube playlists and non-editable YouTube-generated playlists into one consolidated and fully editable playlist that you own. Follow these steps for a seamless experience:
Step 1: Understand the Limitations of YouTube-Generated Playlists
YouTube-generated playlists, such as "Liked Videos" or auto-generated playlists for certain artists or genres, cannot be edited directly. However, you can add their videos to a playlist you own.
Step 2: Log In to Your YouTube Account
- Open YouTube in your preferred browser or the YouTube app.
- Make sure you are signed in to the account that has the playlists you want to merge.
Step 3: Create a New Playlist
- Navigate to the YouTube homepage or your profile.
- Click on Library in the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down to "Playlists" and click on + New Playlist (or "Create Playlist" in the app).
- Give your new playlist a name (e.g., "Merged Playlist") and set its privacy (Public, Unlisted, or Private).
- Click Create.
Step 4: Add Videos from Your Personal Playlists or YouTube Auto Created Playlist like Mixes
- Go to Library and scroll to your playlists.
- Open a playlist you’ve created or Open the YouTube Auto Created Playlist from Homepage.
- After Opening the Playlist, go to the URL and Replace 'www' or remove everything until YouTube and add "Music." with the Dot (.).
- It will redirect you to YouTube's Music version of the playlist. From there, you can hit save and save it on to the new playlist that you created on Step 3. You can also create the playlist from this page as well.
- Repeat this process for all the videos in your personal playlists you want to merge.
Step 5: Organize Your Merged Playlist
- Go to the newly created playlist by navigating to Library > "Playlists" > [Your Playlist Name].
- Click on the Edit button (pencil icon) or the Sort button (if available).
- Rearrange videos by dragging and dropping them into your desired order.
- Add a description to your playlist if needed.
Step 7: Review and Share Your Playlist
- Review the playlist to ensure all intended videos are included.
- To share your playlist, click on the Share button and copy the link or directly share it via social media. The playlist needs to be public or unlisted in this case.
Additional Tip and Note:
- Use YouTube Studio: For better control and organization, access your playlists via YouTube Studio, where you can manage them more efficiently.
- Limitations: It is Random, but Sometime This Trick does not work for some Unknown Reasons.
By following this guide, you’ll have a single, organized playlist with full control allowing you to rearrange, delete, or add videos as you see fit, combining videos from your personal and YouTube-generated playlists. Enjoy your curated content!
