What is this?

It's a race. Your objective is to go from Point A to Point B, while passing through a single checkpoint along the way.
However, the distance will be over 20.000 blocks.
There's a commemorative medal to anyone who completes the race (in a maximum of 3 hours) on top of the top 3 getting special prizes.

From where to where?

How will we race?

You can walk, run, row a boat, or even ride a horse! You can pick whatever route you decide, as long as you pass through the checkpoint.
You will start with an empty inventory, so if you want tools, armor, food or a boat, you will have to make them from scratch once the race starts!

What can't I do?

You can't bring premade tools, materials, or the like! You also cannot recieve outside help, so no-one can give you food or items unless they are other racers
You also can't enter the nether, all racing and gathering must be made in the overworld
Elytra usage is also banned. This also means ice tunnels, ice brifges, and the like are not allowed.
Using a natural river, ocean or glaciar is fine, however.
You can't kill people.

What about entering a city in my route and using a farm, or picking a horse, or free items?

You are not allowed to use anything that was premade, that includes food from farms, already tamed horses, or items gathered and abandoned.

What about trees and other materials?

Use your map, and confirm you are not inside private territory before taking resources.

So I can use a map?

Yes! Dynmap, and the Territory Map from Yubicraft.github.io will be available for use!

What if I die?

That's game over for you.
