❱❱ XTX's Malware Removal Guide ❰❰
Step 1. If you are NOT in the United States then use this link , If you ARE in the US (or if this link doesn't work) then use this link.
Step 2. Open KVRT, click change parameters, CHECK ALL BOXES, then run KVRT
Step 3. While KVRT is scanning change ALL passwords (especially Discord, steam, and even ones with 2FA) on your phone with the Bitwarden app or another computer. Don't use your browser's password manager
The scan should have taken a while
If it only scanned like 10,000 or something then go to step 2 and set it up correctly, then rescan.
Step 4, once KVRT finishes feel free to post a screenshot of the detections in the help channel.
Do note that KVRT may detect actual game files as "crack" or "hacktool", these are legit (assuming they are in the game's folder)
Step 5, reinstall windows ESPECIALLY if KVRT detected nothing (that means you ran some advanced shit that can evade detection, it will steal any new passwords.) preferably with a flash drive made on another machine, you can also use the built in reinstall tool, reinstall and keep files. No I DO NOT want to hear your bitching about it. It won't even take that long if you keep files
Step 6. After you've changed all of your passwords get LibreWolf and set it as your default browser
https://librewolf.net/installation/windows/
- Based on Firefox and is more secure than other browsers because it has full uBlock Origin
- If you don't want to switch then make sure your main browser has uBlock Origin Lite installed (lite because full uBlock doesn't work on chromium)
Step 7. (Optional) Get Bitdefender for stronger protection (MAKE SURE to disable special offers notifications in the settings)
https://bitdefender.com/solutions/free.html
You can now go back to DODI, and redownload your game (or do whatever you were doing cause this guide is used in several places), now with uBlock (included in LibreWolf)
If you're currently using an AV that it isn't Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Sophos, nor ESET, then it's shit and you're better off with Windows Defender. Most AVs (Malwarebytes, Norton, McAfee, Avast. TotalAV) are useless garbage.
