FAQ

1. Should I reroll?
Yes, it's very fast and easy. After the game asks you to pull, you can click out of the tutorial and complete the prologue, after which you will be given tickets in your mail. From there you can pull the limited banner to save time. If you get the limited character, you can go back to the beginner banner and finish your 20 free rolls to get the standard 5* of your choice.
Roll for who you like, you get selectors later to round out teams

2. What do I use my selectors on?
The game gives you two 4* Ventus(Wind) units for free, through ingame mail and Tyrant Missions. Hold your selectors until you know what team you want to build. If you are rerolling you might be able to use them to build a third team that's not wind or of the element you rerolled for.

3. Pity? Spark? How does the gacha work?
Limited Trekker Banner has a feature that allows you to redeem the rate up character after 120 pulls. This does not carry over between banners. The limited banners also have a hard (GUARANTEED) pity at 160 rolls, which means that you will pull the rate up character after that number of pulls. This pity counter is hidden but does carry over between banners. Pulling the rate up 5* resets the 160 pity, but redeeming the limited character through the spark system does not reset it.

4. How do I spend my resources?
Upgrade your characters to the max level your authorization level allows you to. Raise the appropriate skill levels for your team (Auto Attack & Main Skill for main, Support Skill for supporters, Ult for both) Upgrade your main and support Discs to get more stats and initial Melody Notes for Ascension.
Prioritize completing the Tyrant Missions, the later ones will ask you to raise 8 characters to level 70. These missions give huge rewards for completion, including a 10-pull on the Disc banner for (almost) every level completed.

5. What are Discs and Melody Notes?
Discs are basically weapons with special passives. They are NOT tied to any specific character, rather you pick 3 Discs for your team to use and everyone benefits from them. Melody Notes are small, passive buffs that stack, and you collect them through the roguelike(Ascension) mode. Discs have special passives on top of their regular buffs that require a certain amount of Notes to activate. When running Ascension, you want to collect the specific Notes that activate your Disc buffs.

6. Main? Supporter?
When building a team of 3, you have 1 Main slot and 2 Supporter slots. Main is always on-field, Supporters are always off-field.
Alongside this, it's important to know Trekkers have three (3) roles: Vanguard, Versatile, and Support. This is not a hard rule, but generally you will have a Vanguard in the Main slot, and your Supporters will be either Versatile or Support. The major difference in these roles is how they interact with each other, and the Mark system.
Vanguards are able to ~trigger~ marks with their Main Skill and Ult, and can ~inflict~ marks with their Support Skill.
Versatiles are able to ~trigger~ marks with their Main Skill, and can ~inflict~ marks with their Support Skill. They all have upgrades from the roguelike mode that allow their Ult to ~trigger~ or ~inflict~ marks.
Supports cannot ~trigger~ marks, but can ~inflict~ marks with both Skills and their Ult.
TL;DR Vanguard Main, Versatile Main or Support, Support always Support
(there are some exceptions but you don't care about that right now)

7. What is a Record? How do I get stronger Records?
When you complete a run of Ascension, you get to save the builds you made during that run for use in other modes. Do your Ascension runs, upgrade the monolith research and pray to RNGsus. Notes, Cards, and activated Disc passives all contribute to a higher score.

8. How do I build my characters?
Each character has recommended builds on their Trekker page in-game which you can use as a starting point. Depending on your team composition you can aim for more specific builds that suit your main character's playstyle. The game will also recommend specific cards for you during your run, randomly at first, and then tailored to the starter build as you go along. (Ex. if at the start you pick a card in Build 1, the game will almost always recommend cards from Build 1)

9. The Tyrant Mission asks me to do any 2 Arenas at Difficulty 2, but I did and it still shows incomplete?
This gets a lot of people don't worry. There are 7 Arenas, 6 of them being tied to specific elements, rotating each day. Simply complete Difficulty 2 for the Infinite Arena and one of the Elemental Arenas. You probably did the Infinite Arena already, so just do the same for one of the other 6.

10. What should I use my selectors on?
Just use them to complete teams you already partially have. (ie. you pulled Ridge(Terra) and Nazuna(Terra) but no Gerie(Terra), so use selector on Gerie)
For discs, do whatever you feel is best for you, there isn't really a wrong answer.
