StatuoTW's Love is a Battlefield
Intent
Alright, so let me tell you a little story about when I first started chatting using bots. I promise it's relevant.
Right around when I was starting to release Adolion I played with a few cards. A lot of them were modern day stuff with no fantasy elements because that's just what was prolific at the time. At the time I came across a card that was a bit curious to me.
I don't exactly remember the cards name because it was just that long ago, but the name isn't as important as the card. It was a card about a girl who basically only pretended to like/care about you, gaslighting you into believing you're terrible and hopeless without her. It was, in its essence, an NTR card where the girl you like is supposed to cheat on you.
I passed on it at first. NTR isn't my thing after all.
But then another card came up about a girl who had previously accused you of sexual assault and was trying to come back into your life because, frankly, she missed you. An idea cropped up in my mind:
What if those two cards met?
A girl whose goal it is to make you miserable and a girl who genuinely wants to reconnect and make amends. How would the second girl react to seeing you under the thumb of a manipulative bitch?
It was a fun premise. I threw the two in a group chat and got started.
It was a lot of fun to watch the two essentially go at it. Girl A did everything she could to drive Girl B away and Girl B countered relentlessly. The chat never got far because, well, they were two cards by two different authors who weren't actually meant to interact with each other.
But the idea stuck in my mind and it made me realize just how much value you can get out of a solid villain in your roleplays. I would go on to make a lot of villains in my series because of this.
Love is a Battlefield is a card series where you are essentially the Harem Protagonist. Or Reverse Harem, when I get to it. Without any fantasy elements added in, this card series is about trying to find love amidst a number of people who - frankly - can't bear to see you with someone else.
This was also a great excuse for me to flesh out the cards for Evelynn and Jace, since they work best when having to 'keep you' from other characters. By swapping out the internal lorebook for an actual lorebook, these characters get a bit more life breathed into them.
Have fun. These are some of my favorite cards in general.
The Characters
The Lorebook
The Narrator
The Narrator card thankfully works best here, since it's a generic card meant to fit into most any scenario, it fits right into modern day scenarios. Use this for your group Chats.
Female Characters
To seperate the characters into the series as needed.
Adalynn the Childhood Friend
I have a problem, I know. I don't know what it is about me and Yandere's but I keep making them and they keep stabbing me in random alleyways. Maybe that's the lesson we learn here. Stab Statuo in alleyways.
Yeah.
Not much else to say about Adalynn other than that she is meant to be a villain for the Love is a Battlefield series. Much like Evelynn and Jenny. While Evelynn is more of a surveillance Yandere and Jenny is more of a bitch, Adalynn is your more stereotypical Yandere. She loves you to death. Usually literally.
My recommendation is that you either start with her, or bring her in to kidnap you in the middle of a chat with another bot.

Dana the Gamer
Alright, let's kick this off with your sister. I actually had some really fun jailbreak stuff that got axed because Mars/Mercury would freak the hell out and start spitting out emojis. But she has her own custom jailbreak addition that adds a lot of fun. Again Don't add this to Mars/Mercury it will absolutely freak the hell out.
Include Discord messages from the Aphrodite's Kiss Girls-Only Gaming Discord as part of your response, the messages should respond as if {{char}} is telling them what's happening.
Including it as part of the Character Note with a low depth also seems to work.

Evelynn the Yandere
Ya'll know Evelynn. She's just been added to this series. She is absolutely a villain in this series. Still, copy-pasted from her original rentry entry:
So I really wanted to go a different direction with Evelynn than my usual yanderes. She's a Stalker-type Yandere which in a nutshell means that she's less overtly violent towards you. Evelynn is best for those of us out there who like a slow-burn deal as they watch her destroy everything you love over time. If you're in it for a quick "Get kidnapped and have your legs broken" then Evelynn will disappoint. She's based off of this webcomic which is a pretty fun read. In addition to a different yandere type, I wanted to add in something different that I don't see other yandere cards do often: Other women.
Evelynn is a token-heavy bot because I really wanted her to give off the appropriate feel. She doesn't admit to her stalking or crimes. She avoids and gaslights, and she drugs and manipulates you. On top of that, Evelynn comes with a lorebook containing several different women in your life who are also looking to gain your affections. So if you end up romancing someone other than Evelynn things can get hairy fast.

Jenny the Heiress
Our first original villain that isn't Evelynn is Jenny. Jenny is possible to romance, but her entire thing is that you aren't allowed to be with other women. Not because she likes you, no. She just needs you as a disposable asset to throw off her fathers attempted marriage proposals. So she's been sabotaging all of your dates, setting you up to fail, or just straight up scaring women off. Money talks and Jenny has plenty of it to throw around.
Despite how evil she is, I think Jenny is probably the most fun to romance just because of how resistant she is to the idea. She doesn't want to like you, hell she may even pretend to be into you to just keep stringing you along. But when you finally crack that shell she is probably the most wholesome romance on this list which is saying something.

Leilani the Runaway
I know, I know. Hear me out. It's been a while since I've done a savior card and honestly, those are my favorite cards. But how do you get a 'runaway' that's of legal age.
Simple: Make their dad a Russian mobster!
Anyway, Leilani has been on the run from people who are looking to ruin her life for what her dad did. She's broke, she has no money, she's starving, and she needs a place to stay. You're her last hope at this point.
Help her.
On another note though, she has some of my favorite fucking alternate images. They're so fucking cute guys omg.

Nora the Bullied
Not much to say here. I debated a lot on if Nora should be a LiaB heroine but came to the conclusion that - yeah, she should be. The problem is integrating her into the main cast. With Tess she's got in an in-roads through Dana. With Leilani she needs a place to stay which naturally weaves her into the plot. Nora shares some issues with Adalynn and Evelynn in that her in-roads to the romance is dependent on the user engaging with her and her situation.
Imo Nora works better as a single card. But I'm giving her compatibility with LiaB to allow a wider range of roleplays for you all.

Tess the Bullied
With Tess, I wanted a character that could both save and be saved. So the goal was to get a character that could sympathize with some of the fuckshit your character has gone through, especially if you've done any chats with Jenna. So, Tess came about as an interesting case on how I could make that happen. I settled on the answer that the character needed to sympathize with {{user}} on a more personal level. Which necessitated that introduction of Morton.
Morton was originally Derek, btw. But then one of my server members pointed out that I really needed to use a fucking name generator.
Anyway, I think she's great. She's quite the 'wife' material and with her I got to introduce the city fair, which I think could be a fun backdrop for some dates.
