TERA: Starscape is a private server revival of TERA Online, an action combat MMORPG known for its responsive targeting, impactful combat, and visually distinct classes. Starscape is a Western US-based, level 70 Apex (v100.2) server aiming to recapture TERA's late-game PvE experience with some adjustments for smooth progression. Whether you're new to the game or some ancient retail player, you're welcome to join your fellow anons in Starscape. If you're worried about your ping affecting your gameplay, please look below for addons to assist with that.
/vm/ guild(s): Clover
Clover: You can apply through guild search or send a whisper to the leader, Hesp
You can teleport around for free and even save areas to teleport to by using the Village Atlas and Travel Journal. Ghillieglade can be done twice a day per character and drops various currencies and materials, including one currency that will allow you to buy best-in-slot stat innerwear for your class for around 140 Goldfinger Tokens.

A small, quick starter guide if using the instant level 70 scroll:
- Complete the Stepstone Isle quest line and use the Pegasus to fly to Velika for the first time. You can now warp to Highwatch using either the Village Atlas or the "Redeem" (default H key) button on the Vanguard Requests window.
- Start [Apex] The Two Banquets quest line. Towards the end of the banquet Meren will give you Gear, Accessory, and Glyph crates. Put these on before you proceed further, there is a small fight you can't win otherwise. Finish the Apex questline for your remaining glyphs and glyph points. As you go you'll want to upgrade your equipment all at the same time (all +1, all +2, etc).
- Start Pocket Tab Storage and [Important] Companions and Partners quest lines. The quest lines overlap in Tria.
- Do the [Solo] A New Beginning quest line.
-Note 1: When you get to Training Ground section YOU DO NOT HAVE TO KILL THE CLAW RIDER IN THE TRAINING GROUNDS. After hitting both the priest and mystic buff stones, then running up to the claw rider, the quest will update and you can just /reset. Typing /reset will reset the instance (you want this).
-Note 2: Flight missions work for when you need to do Guardian Missions. Flight tokens earned can be saved up to buy extra flight time. - Ace dungeons and Celestial Arena are good sources of upgrade mats for starter scout gear. Aces and Celestial can be run up to three times a day per character. A chest with feedstock for scout gear is mailed to you each time you complete the Celestial arena with a high enough score. Kezzel's Gorge also gives a lot of T2 feedstock.
-Note: When your Scout gear hits at least +14 and you have an Annihilation or Dark Light piece to replace it depending on your class, dismantle the Scout gear for the Darkshard feedstock it gives you. This feedstock is used for Annihilation and Dark Light upgrades. - Use Vanguard credits to buy crystals if needed. (Lancers for example start with speed instead of crit crystals.)
- Start the [Important] The Nightmare Begins quest line to get some blue Halidroms/Relics. (NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THE ENTIRE EXODOR QUESTLINE RIGHT AWAY. Main goal is the Halidom/Relic to get you started).
- Run dungeon instances for mats and the next tier of gear and accessories, or alternatively buy them from the trade broker from other players. Annihilation and Dark Light gear run for about 40-50k gold a piece.

Turn on these options if you're learning a dungeon:
If you aren't averse to pugging, make sure you don't use the IMS feature. Typically, it is only used here for 20-man content. Instead, use the LFG menu by pressing Y. Make sure to have LFG visible in your chat window as well!
TERA Toolbox
Starscape comes with its own prepackaged toolbox download here: https://download.terastarscape.com/TERA_Starscape_Toolbox.zip
It contains things like skill prediction, which can make the game quite comfortable to play even at 200ms. You'll still have to worry about dodging a little early with a ping that high though! There are even more addons to look out for, but there are a few things you should do with your Starscape toolbox starter addons before you go snooping. Keep in mind you have to have toolbox running while the game is for addons to work. You likely need a specific version of dotNET to have the Shinra DPS meter work at all, so here's a link to that: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-desktop-5.0.17-windows-x64-installer
Unfortunately, the UI for the toolbox is a little confusing. You want to first disable updates for the addons Starscape Toolbox comes with and it may look like you already have based on this little (x),
but you actually want to change that to the (↓) to disable updates!
Uncheck this when you're done disabling updates for each prepacked addon.
I recommend Unicast for those of you who like messing around with fashion, since your changes can sync to other players using it as long as you're in online mode.
Tera Mod Manager
This one's for loading stuff like outfit texture mods, or more importantly, a mod that can sync the color of your Elin's ears and tail to your hair color. You also have to keep it running while Starscape is in order for it to work.
https://github.com/VenoMKO/TMM
The ear/tail color syncing mod in question is here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/6voumdybai6cfn2/ElinMatchingEarsTails.rar/file
You need to do a couple things to get TMM running, starting with
and also checking this option
Class guides
You can find them in the Starscape Discord, but I'll also pull a few from there to post at this rentry: https://rentry.org/StarscapeClassGuides
Basic gearing
After the banquet you'll have a full set of Exodor Scout gear. DO NOT throw it away for Azart gear even if it looks better. You can dismantle the scout gear later for feedstock used for the next gear tier. Don't spend too long farming scout feedstock from the dungeons mentioned earlier in this rentry, as getting caught in a loop of running solo ace dungeons and arenas is a common noob trap. You can join us at any time, because the item level restrictions for a dungeon showing up on the Vanguard (H) menu are just for teleporting directly to the entrance quickly. Yes, you can enter a dungeon whenever you'd like to regardless of item level! All you need to do is teleport near enough to the entrance and then head the rest of the way there on mount or foot. Joining some of the lower tier dungeons early can jumpstart your path to the next tier of gear after Scout.
Low tier dungeons and where to find them without the item level to teleport to them directly
Since you can enter dungeons even without the item level required for them to pop up on Vanguard (H), I'll post a few of the lower tier ones, their locations, and easy ways to get there. Specialty stores hold teleport scrolls for most dungeons too.
Velik's Hold (5-man)
Probably the easiest 5-man on this list, the entrance is right there in Velika. You probably even passed it by while wandering around clueless at the beginning of the game.
Special mention: Macellarius Catacombs (3-man)
This one isn't really worth your time beyond a couple runs for novelty, and you'll probably have the item level to teleport to it immediately after equipping your scout set. Very useful teleport for getting to Demokron Factory later though. Also seems to drop a ton of fashion coupons, but you can farm those anywhere with good medium-sized mob density.
Ravenous Gorge (3-man)
Pretty simple, but annoying to get to since it requires a local teleportal jump. You'll start by teleporting to the Amadjuak Trading Post and use the teleportal there to go to Khirian Outpost Teleport Platform, then you just head southwest.
Thaumetal Refinery (3-man)
Another one you can get to from Amadjuak Trading Post's local teleportal. Use it to go to Khirian Sanctuary and head east.
RK-9 Kennel (5-man)
A third one you can find by moving out from Amadjuak. Lots of easy dungeons in this area. Just head west from the trading post this time.
Red Refuge (5-man)
This one is easy. Simply teleport to Frontera and head south.
Lilith's Keep (5-man)
Lilith and her favorite horse are northwest of Popolion.
Velik's Sanctuary (5-man)
The entrance is right next to Velik's Hold, but despite the item level requirement being so low, this is one of the more difficult dungeons to run. Wouldn't recommend if you're just trying to gear up.
Fashion Coupons and Tikats
Farming fashion coupons is easy and can get you your first outfit and a transparent mask slot to hide that mask you're wearing. The best spot in the game for coupon farming is Nerine Trough at Spring Valley, northeast of Amadjuak Trading Post. However, this place is usually getting farmed by other players.
An alternate I like is Valselok Shrine. Density's not as good but the respawn times here almost make up for it. Upside is it's low level, so everything should die in one hit. You can find this spot in the Valley of Titans in Arcadia.
Tikats
Dungeons and high level BAMs drop Tikats, that's about it. You want to farm BAMs specifically? Go to the Island of Dawn and start smacking the ones that give you Dawnstorm Tokens from the Vanguard request menu.
