"So... what's with the shrimp?"
I'm a bit insane about shrimp. I love all the different species and how beautiful they all are. I was joking around with a friend about how life would be better if it was all shrimp, and it gave me an idea. What about a virus that turns everyone into shrimp?
It sounds silly, I know. But I loved the concept. An infectious, man-made virus created by one mad scientist who just really liked shrimp. He spends his days fantasizing about shrimp, about how much better their lives must be... until he decides to make himself into one! He tests the ShrimpVirus on himself, becoming a humanoid shrimp man, and realizes he must share the Shrimpfestation with others! As he infects others and turns them into Shrimp people, he discovers it's a hive-mind virus, with himself as the Lead Shrimp. He seeks to expand, until all are shrimp under his reign!
I imagine this story as one of those extremely poor quality campy 80's horror movies. A movie so bad that it becomes the best movie of all time. And I'm the Patient Zero Shrimp Scientist, of course.
