How do I look?

Sakuya’s in the office, wondering about the role of being a vampire as she’s being briefed on an upcoming job. Producer tells her excitedly that it’s a special for Halloween and that they’re supposed to do multiple things from photoshoots to recordings for social media. Sakuya has no problem with the job, but is curious as to why Producer is seemingly so into it. P explains that he thinks Sakuya could be a good fit for a vampire and that seeing yet another side of her would do wonders. The notion has Sakuya in full agreement now as she begins to give a demonstration of her vampiric potential. Her dramatics depict a reluctant vampire barely containing herself as she seductively requests her next meal to offer up their blood. Producer thinks it was great, much to Sakuya’s appreciation, though she suggests getting a bit more advice as playing such an inhuman character isn’t as easy as it seems. After a bit of though, P offers his guidance:
TOP CHOICE: Play it with a cooler air.
Producer suggests that the distance between human and inhuman be played as an advantage, utilizing a fear of moderate uncertainty. Acting opposite of how Sakuya normally is might get a stronger feeling across. Sakuya demonstrates again with a more direct, demanding tone.
LEFT CHOICE: Maximum tenderness.
Opting for a more deceitful depiction, Producer suggests acting more kind and warmhearted. This should cause people to question whether the vampire has some hidden ulterior motive. Sakuya demonstrates again, this time with a more inquisitive tone.
RIGHT CHOICE: What if we beef up the cuteness?
Producer suggests having a more cutesy depiction, giving a bit of fanservice while still having her nearly beg for her bloody sustenance. Sakuya notes that the expressions will be a bit more embarrassing, but gives it her best shot nonetheless.

コウモリが飛び交う / Bats flying about

While out and about, Producer stumbles upon something at a store. That “something” appears to be a bat, but he’s not entirely sure what the actual item itself is, deducing that it’s some kind of ornament, but not the usual keychain or similar. Despite his confusion, he takes a liking to it and asks the shopkeeper to prepare it as a present. Back at the office, P presents the bat decoration to Sakuya. He tries explaining that it caught and held his attention due to Sakuya’s current vampire role, but ultimately admits that he kinda just bought it on a whim since it was cute and offers it to her. Sakuya accepts, but announces that she has something to show him. She hands over what is revealed to be…the exact same bat ornament! Just as well, she begins to attempt an explanation for her purchase, but similarly admits that she just thought it was cute and bought it on impulse. They laugh about how they’re seemingly one-and-the-same, even down to their buying habits, then return to the matter of the duplicate ornaments. When Producer suggests that there may not be a need for two of them, Sakuya interjects with a proposal to exchange their ornaments.
TOP CHOICE: With pleasure.
P easily accepts the offer as this not only makes Sakuya happy, but accomplishes the original goal of giving Sakuya the ornament. The two swap and are happy with their exchange.
LEFT CHOICE: Is that alright?
Initially hesitant, P makes sure that Sakuya is fine with exchanging the two ornaments. Sakuya responds that she wouldn’t have proposed it if she wasn’t already okay with it, but leaves the final call to Producer. He agrees and they trade, telling each other the small charm points of their individual ornaments as they hand them off.
RIGHT CHOICE: Oh!
Producer is immediately receptive to the idea and begins planning to take responsibility and care for the gift he’s been given. He talks about putting it by his desk and having it take his fatigue away when he’s tired. Sakuya finds the idea of his new partner lovely, but says that she’ll end up being jealous of the bat if he takes it that far. After all, the one partner that’s supposed to be by Producer’s side is Sakuya herself.

It’s spooky!

On the set of production, the staff calls for shooting to begin and the card animation plays.

The staff says Sakuya’s part is complete and says they’ll move onto the main shoot after a certain “Tsukioka-san” finishes changing clothes. Producer gives Sakuya plenty of praise as the two deflect compliments back at each other. Sakuya notes a certain “maidenly devotion” from Producer that helped shape her vampiric self, but accepts the kind words being given. P doesn’t appear too fond of the “maidenly” bit, but is glad to hear she’s happy. He then starts to mention moving on and heading out, but Sakuya’s tone suddenly switches. She’s upset, lamenting that her cruel beloved is merely waltzing away after her efforts, leaving her charms seemingly ineffective and worthless. She understands that she has failed in keeping him close and is left with her last resort. Sakuya grabs Producer, wrapping her arms around him and allowing no chance for escape. How wonderful it would be to sink her fangs deep into his neck until she grew tired…
With Producer now likely feeling a very intense variety of emotions, Sakuya apologizes as she’s just pulling a prank on him and asks him to let the moment slide as a whim of the Halloween dweller’s spirit. Producer is relieved to hear it was just a prank, but the nerve-wracking event really seemed to get to him.

ふと、目を細める / Suddenly, the eyes narrow

In the 283 Office’s kitchen, Sakuya calls out to Hazuki about putting some snacks in the fridge. Within the fridge, Sakuya notices something out of the ordinary. It’s a small bat ornament. Sakuya takes pity on the poor little thing, admonishing its evil master that placed it in such a cold, frightening place. She takes the bat into her care and says the owner must be taught a lesson.
When Producer arrives at the office, he begins to search around. This game between him and Sakuya has been going on for a while with the two of them taking turns hiding and finding the bat ornaments around the office. P explains that it’s been behind the TV, in the pot of the decorative plant, hiding behind magazines, and more. Fairly quickly into the search, he find the ornament at the window, wondering if the lil’ fella wanted to see the stars or something. The note he finds next to it has him being scolded by Sakuya for being a neglectful master, leaving the poor little bat in the cold like that. P realizes his mistake and reflects upon his actions. He decides an apology is in order and prepares to set the bat in a special place for this upcoming turn.

TOP CHOICE: A drawer full of snacks.
Having just been restocked full of snacks, Producer places the bat into a drawer and prepares it for Sakuya to find. When she enters in the morning, Sakuya begins to search and eventually finds the bat in the snack drawer. She remarks about the ornament’s personal patisserie and is seemingly content with the owner’s remorse as she reads the note left with it apologizing for the cruelty.

LEFT CHOICE: The storage room.
Producer decides on where to hide the bat, but needs to prepare something first. Later, Sakuya arrives at the office in the morning and looks around for the bat. She enters the storage room and finds an open box with some interesting contents. The box has been turned into what appears to be a small house, complete with a cotton-cushioned mug bed, table, chair, and what-not. Relaxing in his new room, of course, is the bat ornament. Sakuya laughs about how cute the bat’s master is, having made such an affectionate craft after his mistake. She then takes a moment to boast about how while that man may be the bat’s affectionate owner, he’s her wonderful producer first and foremost.

RIGHT CHOICE: Atop the sofa cushion.
Producer places the bat on the sofa, a cushy place that’s not hard to find. When Sakuya enters the office, she sees it alongside a note saying the seat is exclusively for the little fellow. It’s not exactly hidden, but Sakuya respects the bat’s sudden status change, noting the specific spot he’s in. The cushion in particular is actually Producer’s favorite seat, making it an honor to be given such a royal throne. Sakuya is envious of the tiny bat.

TRUE END - 乙女 / Maiden

At the office, Sakuya asks a favor of Producer, requesting that he lean over a smidge. P isn’t quite sure what this is for, but he complies as is met with direct physical contact. Sakuya chalks it up as another prank with the remnants of the Halloween spirit still in the air, but Producer questions if pranks are supposed to be this…nice. Sakuya says that her fans seem to enjoy this sort of thing and that men don’t seem to be on the receiving end of such a blissful action very often, so she wanted to try doing it to him. The action in question, of course, is headpats.
Producer says that grown men don’t get headpats and that it’s embarrassing. Sakuya retorts that it should matter what age he is so long as he enjoys it, so why not let her headpat him some more? She goes on the offensive and starts petting him aggressively, consoling him and calling him a good boy. When P grows increasingly flustered from the “teasing”, Sakuya assures him that wasn’t her intention. She feels deeply grateful for him, having caused her to enjoy and appreciate everyday life, and wants to return the favor even if she can’t properly convey such gratitude to the fullest. It’s a thoughtful moment from Sakuya, but after hearing this, Producer suddenly takes the advantage and turns the tide.
He utters a bold claim. “If men don’t get headpats…then I bet tall girls don’t get ‘em very often either!” Before Sakuya can comprehend, he goes to town and starts giving her his strongest headpats and rubs. Sakuya’s done nothing but put out her best efforts, so she deserves plenty of appreciation in return. Sakuya says that the vigor of the headpats could mess up her hair, a travesty to be sure, but Producer says it’s no problem. Her pleas are dismissed, but…she isn’t too upset about it.
