♡ resource carrds and rentrys are great for
finding a variety of pixels , though tumblr can
be more helpful if you're searching for specific
pixels ! ( ex. #pink pixels ; #sanrio pixels )

♡ pinterest is better when searching for cute
standalone images ( it can be harder to match
pinterest images without editing them ) ; it's very
useful for finding character art , character chibis ,
etc ! (example)

♡ finding rentry graphics is easiest on tumblr ,
usually with the tag #rentry graphics ! a few posts
include 1 & 2

♡ the tumblr lostsozai has many pixels and is
great for browsing to find niche graphics !

♡ for editing I personally use pixlr e
to edit my own rentry graphics since I'm on
a computer ; however , I've seen people on
mobile use picsart to edit , and I've seen people
use paint tool sai 2 and photopea as well !

♡ for gifs I use a combination of pixlr e and
ezgif personally , most people also use ezgif
paired with their go-to editing app/website
when they edit gifs !

♡ fade effects on images and gifs like this can
be done on online image editor ; upload the image
or gif you want on the site , and then click advanced >
viginette ; for visual instructions I've screenshotted
the steps here !

♡ recoloring pixels can be done in two ways ! whenever
I'm making a rentry with a loose color scheme , I go to
ezgif.com > effects , and play around with the settings
from there ^^ I've also seen a post about this on tumblr
from engagekiss ; " che edits pixels on ezgif ( under effects
section ) ; 10 brightness , -10 - -25 contrast , tint whatever
color you want && viola ! "

♡ to recolor pixels in a more specific way , and get them
just how you want them to be , you can go to ezgif.com > split !
then , save all the files and recolor each file individually ( time
consuming , I know >:( ) ; after you've done this , name the files
alphabetically or numerically in the order you want each to appear
in your gif , and then go to ezgif.com > gif maker to construct it into
a recolored pixel ! ( if the speed is a bit off , you can go to the speed
setting too )

♡ resizing flags is pretty simple , you can find some on tumblr !
after you get one that you want to resize , go to ezgif > resize ; make
the height 16 and the width 0 , then upload on an image hosting site
like postimages ! ( originally from this post on pinterest )

♡ cool animations can be done with the site photomosh , upload
an image and then to go " gif " to add effects ; it's a super helpful
site for making / adding effects onto gifs especially !

♡ using inspiration in general is very important ! it's easy to forget ,
as I'm sure that many people feel that they have to be original , but
inspiration is crucial for you to improve. especially if you see something
you like , it's a lot better to take inspiration from that , rather than ending
up with something you don't even like for the sake of being original !

♡ similarly , when using something as inspiration , make sure to
study what you like about it in detail ! if you're not entirely sure what it is
that makes it look so pretty , try to imitate all the aspects of it in a graphic
( ex. the specific thickness of the outline , the colors , the complexity and
the little details ) ^^ going through this kind of process will help you find
a graphic making " style " , which would be compiled of characteristics you
personally find pretty in graphics , that you choose to continue to repeat
or innovate into your next ones ! :D

♡ gif over gif is an overlay feature that ezgif does not have as of right now !
instead , you can use online image editor to do this , since it accepts gifs in
the overlay feature ! >:D

*^ if you try this on pc, I highly suggest moving the overlaying gif one extra
movement / step to the left of where you want it to be , and it'll shift itself
to the exact spot that you wanted once you press apply !

♡ additionally , online image editor removes the background of " photomoshed "
text and images very well , through its transparency feature ! though it can be
a hit or miss sometimes , if you keep adjusting the fuzz options , it could
genuinely save the day LOLDOWAK
