ReVanced Google Photos Guide (NO ROOT)

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

• An Android device
• A stable internet connection
• Basic knowledge of using Termux

Step 1: Download and Install Termux

First, download and install Termux from F-Droid using the link below:

Step 2: Install Revancify

1. Open Termux.
2. Visit the Revancify GitHub repository: Revancify GitHub
3. Copy the installation command provided on the page.
4. Paste the command into Termux and press Enter.
5. This will install Revancify along with all necessary dependencies.

Step 3: Run Revancify

Once the installation is complete, run the following command in Termux:

revancify

This will launch the Revancify script, and you will see the output on the screen.

Step 4: Patch Google Photos

1. Follow the on-screen options.
2. Select Patch App from the menu.
3. Look for Google Photos (as this guide is specifically for patching Google Photos).

Step 5: Choose the App Version

1. Select the Stable Version (avoid beta versions for better stability).
2. For best results, use Google Photos version 7.9.
3. Revancify will fetch the download links and automatically download the required APK.

Step 6: Apply Patches

1. Once the APK is downloaded, you will see the Patch Selection Menu.
2. Choose Recommended and press Done.
3. Do not enable any additional patches unless you know what you are doing.
4. A new option "Select Option Key" will appear. Click Done without modifying anything.
5. The patching process will begin, which typically takes around 5 minutes, depending on your device.

Step 7: Install the Patched Google Photos APK

1. After patching is complete, you will be asked to move the patched APK to internal storage.
2. Click Continue and wait for the process to complete.
3. It will then prompt you to install the patched Google Photos APK.

4. If the installation prompt does not appear, you can manually find the APK in:

   /storage/emulated/0/Revancify/Patched

   Open the folder and install the APK manually.

Step 8: Install GMSCore (MicroG)

To ensure ReVanced Google Photos working, install GMSCore (MicroG) from the link below:

Step 9: Login to Your Google Account in MicroG

After installing MicroG, follow these steps to log in:

1. Open the MicroG Settings app.
2. Tap on Accounts.
3. Select Add Account and choose Google.
4. Enter your Google credentials and complete the login process.
5. After you login open Google Photos app and click on account option then select your Account that you logged into microG and hit start backup.

Final Notes

• Goggle account will be logged out automatically after you exit, so simply click on accounts and select your account and start backup thats all.
• Once everything is installed, open Google Photos and check if it works as expected.
• If you face any issues, try reinstalling the patched APK or checking for updated versions.
