27 "The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy.’' "

9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.” 10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Proverbs (Collection of wisdom by Solomon and several other men; Personally one of my favorite books)

1:7-9
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning to knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8 Hear, my son, your father's instruction,
and forsake not your mother's teaching,
9 for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.
3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 15:32-33
32 Whoever ignores instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence. 33 The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor. 18:12
Before destruction a man's heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.

1:20-26 (The Call of Wisdom)
20 "Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the markets she raises her voice; 21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: 22 How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge? 23 If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you. 24 Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded, 25 because you have ignored all my counsel and would have none of my reproof, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you..."

Chapter 2 (Value of Wisdom)
Chapter 5 (Warning against Adultery)
Chapter 10/25 (Proverbs of Solomon)

12:19
Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment. 14:12
"There is a way that seemeth right onto a man, but its end there in are the ways of death." 17:1
Better is a dry morsel with quiet than a house full of feasting with strife. 21:19
It is better to live in a desert land than with a quarrelsome and fretful woman. 26:11
Like a dog that returns to his vomit, is a fool who repeats his folly 28:9
If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination 28:13
"Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy." 31:8-9
8 Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. 9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.

31:10-31 (A Woman who fears the Lord) For those in search of a maiden

Extras here and here

Humility comes before Honor. Folly is a man with knowledge who does not act on it.

Ecclesiastes (A Book of Crisis to Show a Life Lived Without God)

1:9-11
9 What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. 10 Is there a thing of which it is said, “See, this is new”? It has been already in the ages before us. 11 There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of later things yet to be among those who come after. 2:9-11
9 So I became great and surpassed all who were before me in Jerusalem. Also my wisdom remained with me. 10 And whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them. I kept my heart from no pleasure, for my heart found pleasure in all my toil, and this was my reward for all my toil. 11 Then I considered all that my hands had done and the toil I had expended in doing it, and behold, all was vanity and a striving after wind, and there was nothing to be gained under the sun. 3:1-8
1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
5:1-7
1 Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. To draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they are doing evil. 2 Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be few. 3 For a dream comes with much business, and a fool's voice with many words.

Isaiah (Microcosm of the whole Bible; Some of the most prophetic chapters in the Old Testament)

5:20
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" 40:8
"The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God will stand forever." 43:11-12
11"I, I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior. 12 I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and I am God."

Jeremiah (The Destruction of False Religion)

1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you..."

3:1-5 (Convicting the Whore)

4:30
"And you, O desolate one, what do you mean that you dress in scarlet, that you adorn yourself with ornaments of gold, that you enlarge your eyes with paint? In vain you beautify yourself. Your lovers despise you; they seek your life." 6:16
"Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls..." 9:23
"Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches..." 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." 30:17
"For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’" 32:42
"For thus says the Lord: Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good that I promise them."

Lamentations (Jeremiah speaking upon the destruction of his people)

1:8-9
"Jerusalem sinned grievously; therefore she became filthy; all who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; she herself groans and turns her face away. 9 Her uncleanness was in her skirts; she took no thought of her future; therefore her fall is terrible; she has no comforter. 'O Lord, behold my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed!' "

Ezekiel (He who has hope for the remains of Israel)

33:8-9
" 8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul."

Daniel (Prophecies of The Eternal Kingdom)

6:25-26
25 "Then King Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: “Peace be multiplied to you. 26 I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God, enduring forever; his kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion shall be to the end."

New Testament

Matthew (All about Jesus, written for a Hebrew audience, standing by the old testament prophecies)

1:18-25 (The Birth of Jesus)
3:7-12
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. 9 And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. 10 Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” Chapter 4: Jesus conquers tempation and begins his ministry

Chapters 5-7 (The Beatitudes of Jesus)
These chapters includes sections of Jesus' early teachings to living Christians involving concepts of "salt and light of the Earth", fulfillment of the law, anger, lust, divorce, oaths, retaliation, loving your enemies, giving to the needy, and many more.
5:2-12 (Blessed are these)
5:16 (Let Your Light Shine)
6:19-21 (Treasures of Heaven)
Also features two cornerstones of modern teaching for any new Christian learning to live as Godly people:
The Lord's Prayer
The Golden Rule

10:28
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." 10:29-31
29"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. 30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." 11:28-30
28 "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” 13:49-50
49 " So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." 15:10-14
10 "And he called the people to him and said to them, “Hear and understand: 11 it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.” 12 Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” 13 He answered, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up. 14 Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” 18:7-9
7 “Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes! 8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire." 18:10-14
10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. 12 What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? 13 And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. 14 So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." 19:23-26
23 "And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” 26:41
"Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Chapters 26-27: Jesus is apprehended and crucified before his victory over death
28:19-20(Jesus' final commission to his people)
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

13:5-13 (The One Who Endures False Prophets)
13:32-37 (Stay Awake)

Luke (The first story of Jesus written from a non-Hebrew perspective; he is the savior of ALL NATIONS)
13:27-28
27 "But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’ 28 In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out."

End of Synoptic Gospels

John (Unique, inner perspective upon Jesus' life on Earth from an inside man)

1:1-3
1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 *All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made."

3:16 (For God so loved the world)

11:14-16
14 'Then Jesus told them plainly, “Lazarus has died, 15 and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.” 16 So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.” 13:16
"Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him."

Acts (A story describing the works of the apostles and the birth of the church in the new age)

9:3-9, 22:6-10, 26:13-16 (Saul's Testimony)
13 King Agrippa, while on the road at midday, I saw a light from heaven brighter than the sun, shining around me and those traveling with me. 14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice speaking to me in Aramaic, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ 15 “I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ “And the Lord replied, ‘I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting. 16 But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.

1:1-5
1 "Paul, an apostle—not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— 2 and all the brothers who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen." 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Chapter 3 (Faith over works of the law)
4:7
"So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God." 4:8-11
8"Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods. 9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more? 10 You observe days and months and seasons and years! 11 I am afraid I may have labored over you in vain." 6:1-2
1"Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." 6:9
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)
22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

5:2, 5:6, 6:13 (((Circumcision Counts for Nothing)))
"Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you." "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love." "For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh."

Ephesians (Details on how Christian Relationships work)

1:5-7
5 "For he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7 In him we have redeption through this blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace..." 2:10

6:1-4 (Instructions onto Children and their Fathers)
6:12
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." 6:24
"Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible."

Philippians (Rejoice in Suffering while Having Hope)

1:6
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." 1:9-11
9 "And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." 2:3
"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves." 3:13

"But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ..." 4:8-9
8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you." 4:10-13 (God's Provision)
10 "I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

Hold on, let's read that one again

4:13 "I can do ALL things through him who strengthens me"

1/2 Timothy (Instructions on running a Church)

(1 Timothy) 1:8-11
8 "Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, 10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, 11 in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted." (1 Timothy) 4:12
"Let no one depise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." (1 Timothy) 6:6-10
6 "But godliness with contentment is great gain, 7 for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. 8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs." (2 Timothy) 1:7
"...for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." (2 Timothy) 2:13
"if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself." (2 Timothy) 3:16-17
16 "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

Titus (All should receive Good Teaching through the Church)

2:1-5
1 "But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. 2 Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. 3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled."

Philemon (A Letter About Christian Forgivness)

Hebrews (Connection of the Old and New Testament; The Cementing of Leviticus)

4:14-16
14 "Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." 10:25
"...not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near." 12:1-2
1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." 13:7
"Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith."

James (What Good Religion Looks Like)

Chapter 1 Verses
12 "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. 14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers." 19 "Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God." 22 "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." 26 "If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless." 2:5
"Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?" 3:14-16
14 "But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice." 4:7
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." 5:12
"But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation."

1/2 Peter (How Christians Should Conduct Themselves in Society)

1 Peter 1:13-14
13 "Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance..." 1 Peter 1:15-21
1 Peter 2:4-6
4 "As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:9
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:13-15
13 "Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, 14 or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people." 1 Peter 3:9
"Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing." 1 Peter 4:12-19
2 Peter 1:5-7
5 "For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love."

The Letters to John (The Importance of Love, Notice About False Christ, Imitating Evil)

1 John 1:9-10
9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." 1 John 3:1
"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him." 1 John 4:8,10
8 "Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love." 10 "In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:16
"So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." 1 John 5:4
"For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."

"God is He Who causes to be. Put another way, if you seek the basis of being that underlies everything you will surely find God. You can work back to God from the phenomenal universe, or you can move from the Creator to the phenomenal universe. Each implies the other. The Creator would not be the Creator if there were no universe, and the universe would cease to be if the Creator did not sustain it. The Creator does not exist prior to the universe in time; he does not exist in time at all. God creates the universe constantly; he is with it, not above or behind it. This is impossible for you to understand because you are a created thing and exist in time. You are the breath of your Creator, and as he breathes in and out you live. Remember that, for that sums up everything that you need to know about your God."

My Journal Entries

A lively collection of things I've written in my journal(s) over the years.

"Take your time, for time will tell." "Most people aren't ready to live life until you're ready to die." "Two choices on the shelf, please God or please thy own self." "The lack of rebellion against consumerism has been tragic for society." "I arrived too late for the good part but, just in time to rise out of the ashes once the world is done burning." "Sometimes fear is proof your mind is still functioning. Those those claim to lack fear often lack context and caution." "My people have become a race of peasants and are blindly embracing it. Stepping stones who have become no more than a marketing demographic and media trends. The once great people who paved their way from the bottom now have brought out table and chair and are dining at the barrel, being served by spoon from high class citizens who want nothing but their approval for their own gain." "Who you are will always be apart of what you will become, and what you will become was always apart of who you are" "People rarely change, they just become more of who they are" "Procrastination in of itself is but the arrogant assumption that you'll get another chance from God to do what you should've done today"

The Generational Epidemic

The former didn't grow up addicted to the internet, video games, porn, etc. and few ever breached the concept of man possessing contact to every cardinal sin at his fingertips in a saturated society. Many in the present day are pushed into boxes of principles and ideologies before they even go out to experience life for themselves.

Seasoned eyes have treaded paths before them, before doctrine was even formed, making walkways narrow or far too wide. Initially having no room to question anything, no point in looking back or to the side, traditions and cultures are formed only for someone to fall to the sides of existentialism, nihilism and any other form of deviation you could think of. Even the most pristine foundations erode to pollution made during the same exact age. 2 steps forward yet 4 steps back and all most reactions you get are outward chastising and humble-bragging, no matter how good the intentions are.

They live one life and keep those lenses on for decades wondering "where it all went wrong". Worry not, we're called to maintain tradition, but also to evolve. Coming out on the other side of this active instability to honor those before while making way will make us extremely stronger, independent, logical and emotional people. A blessing in disguise.
