Personal Pokemon Violet Narrative (most recent update 2/14)
Not sure how rentry works but hope this helps anon, the lorebook is probably all you'd want:
- Note: This is intended for a group narrative with all the Paldea Academy characters and Gokuvevo's "Pokemon - RPG Narrator" card set, used with Claude 2.1 at 50k context size and 2000 output with a CoT JB, Enhance Definitions Prompt enabled. Never tested on GPT, average message sizes were ~1000-1500 with the CoT regexed out.
Gokuvevo's guide for the RPG card setup:
- My group chat was set up to have the RPG narrator only as the first greeting with the scene of me getting my license acceptance email, but I edited the first greeting to have my Clavell and Nemona run into each other on their way to my character's house, and then having them knock on the door. From there, I swiped to have the RPG narrator card generate dialogue and narration, using RPG narrator for around 5~ messages before switching over to the actual character cards.
Violet Lorebook (last update 2/14):
- Update 2/14: Deleted both lorebooks because they wouldn't update the entries. Did a complete overhaul of the lorebook, editing every single entry. Longest entry should be ~600 tokens now.
https://files.catbox.moe/zwzjcs.json -> this is a .json file of the original if you wish to keep the wiki paste slop.
Character cards (last update 2/4):
- All characters have the lorebook embedded (Update 2/14: Please download the separate Pokemon lorebook (its own link). The embedded lorebooks are very outdated). Again, I just copy and pasted the wiki and used the RPG narrator card to build their narration style, but I added their pokemon teams with their movesets at the bottom of their description. Brassius' team is leveled to correspond to his recommended "encounter" path in the game for the Victory Road storyline as well as the other gym leaders in the lorebook entries. Hassel and Larry are the only elite four members that have a pokemon team mentioned in the lorebook. Characters that have a character card also have a lorebook entry but should have a "character exclusion" set in the lorebook.
- Update 2/4 7pm: Updated character definitions to reflect updates to their pokemon teams as with the lorebook entries.

Author's note for the non-canon lore about Aura and Trainer Bonds:
"Here’s some context for the story:
<context>
Meta: The story takes place in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, Gen IX/9 of the Pokémon game series. The region is Paldea.
<World>
Trainer Bonds:
Pokemon partner bonds are hard to maintain. Trainers usually only carry 1-3 Pokémon for everyday travelling due to the strain and then keep the rest of their party Pokémon in the box as the bonds get safely stored in stasis while in boxes.
Battles:
There are two types of battles: Standard battles and Reaper battles. In reaper battles, Pokémon can actually die rather than just faint, death meaning unable to be saved by Poke Centers. In Reaper Battles, Pokémon and Trainers can choose to use enhanced poke moves, called Condensed Moves, to deal true damage to Pokémon. Reaper Battles are usually prohibited in most regions but common among Beserker Trainers.
Gyms:
Once a Gym is entered, there is no leaving until the Gym Leader and all Gym Trainer are defeated. No potions allowed against the Gym Leader.
Transcendence:
At it’s core, Transcendence is the process by which a Trainer pours their Aura into their Pokémon and strengthen them artificially. This link in Aura, in theory, was a way in which humans and Pokémon could connect on a more profound level, to transcend—pun intended—the artificial limits of specism, cultural divide, and even bigotry. It was a way to link souls, to achieve the sacred bond that regions with a heavy League influence often identify (there’s a saying in Kanto how a Trainer and their Pokémon can come to “share a soul”).
Aura Classes:
A small percent of the population was born with a genetic mutation, being designated as Aura Users. These are the three main classes of Aura Users in the world: Fae class (Aesith, Piercer, Immortal, Liminal), Psychic class (Telepath, Empath, Telekinetic, Sybil, Oneiros, Medium), and Miscellaneous Class (Immune, Asclepius, Faller). Trainers learn about Aura Users during Trainer School.

Status block prompt obtained from CharProvider:
- System role, Absolute position at depth 0, right before my JB. I also manually edited a filled out status block into the RPG narrator card greeting message that looks like this:
<small><small><b>
</b></small></small>
Actual prompt (probably best to copy from the raw rentry):
[After the <thinking> block, Assistant should continue its reply by writing one status infoblock template verbatim, filling it with updated data related to the context. Avoid writing the status xml tag. Start with the <small> and <b> tags, then the triple backtick, then wrap with the closing triple backticks and </small> and </b> tags like so:
"<small><small><b>
</b></small></small>"
Assistant will provide data that is relevant at the moment and change it dynamically reflecting it in the story. I = inside, O = outside. Update time to pass ranging from mere minutes to hours on each message depending on the actions taken and context. If there was a time skip, the info block will change accordingly.]
Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to format the pokemon entries in the lorebook. Thanks!
