〔Basic Lorebook Guide〕

How? Why? When? Where?

# When to use a lorebook:

When the information contained in there it's relevant to the Card neither the biography of your bot.

Such as NPCs, Side Characters (parents, friends, npcs), Not-always in the scene characters (multibots), backstory or pieces of lore, etc.
To explain or guide the AI on using a P-Lore (power, jutsu, skill, etc).

Such as the description of what an kamehameha or dragon boost or is and how it works/what it does. But only when it's not something it already knows, like the examples above.
To use a Status Panel, Settings, NPC generator, Place (like Castles, Room, Landscape, Garden, Cities, Villages) Descriptions, Commands, Regex or Scripts, etc.
For character generators or similars.

Avoid waste of tokens, but can be buggy, like this guy right here.
To summarize your whole chat log in one big story, be it to start a new fresh chat or to resume what all that have happened until now.
To specify how something works through a keyword, like a special sword, migi, special bomb, flying car, etc.
To describe appearance or behavior of an entity (not object), like an alien egg, an specie, an infection, an disease, etc.

# When to NOT use a lorebook:

Anything that is actually important for the bot's card such as their kinks, that's because it affects behavior, backstory, that's because it also shapes behavior (and avoid misinformation, bad memory), stuff it shouldn't forget but bring up/act upon, etc.
When the AI already knows what or how this or that works or what it looks like such as the description of an specific anime blade, a P-LORE or a information about their parents (instead, tell it to behave like them as if there were an <card> {or any other name you can find for its biography} during the story, etc.

# Extras

Insertion Order is which lorebook will be left active after a new one is triggered.

Mom's Personality (150IS) VS Dad's Personality (300IS): Dad stays active, Mom disappears from current chat log.
