Pokémon Mystery Dungeon

Professor Anne Tenna Core Prompt Response Collection

Which dungeon does your character want to explore first?

Tenna wishes to avoid any Dungeons that do not contain much in the form of relics, or difficult Dungeons where she would be forced into combat. Overall, the Electric Arcade has taken her fancy the most - she is convinced that the Precursors held knowledge within these strange screens, wishing to record everything they show as if they were oracles.

Explorers, are you part of The Guard or a separate, undefined Guild?

Tenna technically isn't an Explorer nor part of any Guild, but she does work with them often as a source of information. She has a large stash of maps and logs from previous expeditions that she is willing to loan.

What's a move you wish you could learn but are unable to for whatever reason?

Tenna doesn't define herself by her Moveset, but would welcome practically any that would make her work easier. She lacks many of the supernatural sensory moves like Miracle Eye that would greatly assist in organization and research.

Pokechads, if you have a home what does it look like?

The HIVE is Tenna's home, and is more of a collection of random cultural relics, baubles and knick-knacks stacked besides mounds of organized (and yet-to-be-organized) books, scrolls, paper, stone tablets and other mediums of information. It would appear heavily organized were it not for the constant influx of new material that the Professor adds to her hoard. Many of The Park's younger Pokémon can be found crawling through the piles, trying to prepare them for Tenna's cataloguing. It can be particularly claustrophobic for larger species, though a clean receptionist's foyer allows for most to enter without immediately disturbing shelves and piles.

Pokechads, what do you do to unwind after a rescue mission?

Tenna is a workaholic and her Bug-type nature means she finds the process of mundane work rather calming, so she's most likely the one doing any paperwork and cataloguing if she's not busy with other projects. She's far from immune to stress, but finds rote work itself focusing and calming.

If she's coming back from a rescue mission she's probably the one that's been rescued and is passive-aggressively fighting with The Park's healers to let her get back to work.

Pokechads, do you worship any deities?

Tenna doesn't really believe in worship, she's much more wired towards the strict social-but-direct hierarchies of Bugs. She'd probably accept any Legendary that she personally met as her Overking/Queen if they managed to convince her bug brain that it would bring better social order.

She does pay some attention to their philosophies and implications in an academic sense but doesn't really have a capacity for faith. Things either are or they aren't to her and she doesn't do well with the abstract.

Pokechads, how much pro bono work do you do if any? For those morally challenged Pokémon, do you ever commit foul deeds just for the act?

Tenna believes in the commune, and is used to working for free instead of transactionally. She does, however, believe in favours, and expects to have her needs met by The Park in return for her assistance. She will remind anyone if they haven't been able to assist her - such as farmers delivering her food - and will cut off access to the HIVE for repeat offences until rectified.

Pokechads, how would your build be at a rambunctious party?

Tenna is used to extreme crowds and they don't really disturb her or phase her, but if she was at a party she'd immediately make it her job to babysit the necessities. She's making sure people are going out to grab more drinks and food as they run out and that anyone who's had too much gets out safely. She's not exactly a party-pooper but she'd get much more satisfaction about making sure the party goes well rather than taking part.

If you had to choose another non-Legendary species to be, which would you pick?

Tenna respects Metagross above all others for being the most like her, just ahead of Beeheyem and other hivemind Pokemon. She's comfortable with what she is and takes maybe a little too much pride in being an Orbeetle so would go for anything close to it with an overwhelming preference for Psychic types.
