Nightmare's Embrace creates a big, bright moon in the sky. The sky becomes green, and the ground becomes cloudy. Anyone in the range of the domain falls asleep and shares a dream with everyone else. The user is put into stasis if they want to enter the shared dream. In the dream, the user gains full control of everything.

Fighting Style: Nyx is a close-range brawler. She focuses on moving fast and hitting with no force behind it. Her cursed energy does all the major damage for her. She uses her cursed technique to put the opponent to sleep and immediately wake them up with another blow. Sometimes she'll even try to slip in a few gazes to put her opponent to sleep. If her opponent seems pretty tough, she'll try to go for a full-powered Black Flash. Only as a last stitch effort will she open her domain, since she can accidentally hit unintended targets with it. She also utilizes parrying, countering, and baiting in her combat style, depending on the situation. Nyx created a technique called "Surging Blow" that allows her to send cursed energy outward from any sort of blow. It can be a punch, a light slap, or even a flick of her finger. The drawback is that it only travels a few inches, so she only really uses it on enemies that shouldn't be touched.

Personality: Nyx is incredibly lazy and would rather not put any effort into fighting. Even though she has great control over her vessel, she almost never takes control. Usually talking out of Azami's (her vessel) hand to speak. Nyx usually only takes control to play video games, if someone annoys her enough to come out or if she feels like her vessel or both of their loved ones are about to die. She hates whenever she has to actually try in a fight, but if the situation calls for it, she will get serious. Besides being lazy, she's a naturally friendly person who wants to protect the people closest to her. She's shy, motherly, and empathic. She deeply cares for Azami, despite her annoyance.

Backstory: Nyx was a wandering Greek during the Heian period. She traveled on foot and by sea to find the perfect place to sleep for all eternity. She eventually discovered and refined her cursed technique through the journey. Obviously, Nyx isn't her real name. She thought her original name was too long, so she picked the shortest, most fitting name. Eventually, she ended up somewhere in Japan. She felt like she was near the perfect place to sleep after seeing so many people like her. After spending some time fighting cursed users or spirits she couldn't understand and learning the language, she met someone who told them they knew how to get the perfect sleep. But first, Nyx would have to prove themselves to be worthy. She hated every second of it, but she trained long and hard for her perfect sleep. After finally being seen as worthy, she was turned into a cursed object after her death. After being incarnated, she was kind of upset that she was tricked like that but quickly got over it, thinking about how death was actually the perfect sleep. Then she was upset that she had somehow been revived. Seeing a terrified high schooler, Nyx tried to calm her down. Nyx tried to convince the girl of what happened, but the girl just assumed it was a prank. Nyx, not really knowing what to do and too lazy to actually decide to live out a day in her vessel's shoes. Everyone in school was really suspicious since her vessel hadn't said a word since class started, but they didn't really care since that meant she might be quiet for the day. At the beginning of the first class, she immediately fell asleep. Suddenly, she woke up in a realm that looked like her domain. She hears a loud, annoying girl talking, disturbing her sleep. She tried to ignore it, but to no avail. She tried to tell her to be quiet, but to no avail. Then, somehow, she managed to transfer her eye and mouth to her cheek. Finally telling her to be quiet, her vessel was horrified. After running to the bathrooms, they talked to each other for quite some time. The vessel introduced herself as Azami, and the two explained their situations. After learning that Nyx is a superhuman with powers, she rushed out of the school looking for an adventure (not knowing where they're going), to Nyx's annoyance. From then on, the unlikely duo were transferred to Jujutsu High in Tokyo after a third party negotiated not to immediately execute the two since Nyx seemed harmless.
