どんな気持ちで / With what kind of feeling
At the 283 office, Natsuha is listening to the demo for her new solo for the first time. She thinks it’s amazing and sings her praises about the lyrics and feeling it gives off. She wishes to thank those involved in making it, a notably exhaustive list of people. After going on about how wonderful Natsuha’s new solo is, Producer says he’ll leave Natsuha to decide what kind of feeling she should bring to its performance as the song is her own, personal solo. This brings Natsuha’s chipperness down a notch as she realizes that everything about the song so far has been prepared for her in advance and she knows she’ll have to put a lot into her performance to do it justice. There’s still some time before the final recording, so Natsuha opts to mull over what she must bring to the table in the meantime.
開かれる景色 / Expandable Scenery
Natsuha continues her usual training routine, but her doubts about matching the beauty needed for her solo aren’t dying down. During the train ride to a special photoshoot. Producer wants to give Natsuha a rundown of what they’ll be doing at the destination. Being the go-getter she is, Natsuha already knows the details and gives the rundown herself to confirm. They’re heading to a special set which will be taking photos to run in a special magazine article to coincide with the release of Natsuha’s solo. The location is a very scenic area that P heard was actually a suggestion from the composers. Natsuha has been listening to the demo constantly, but is still struggling to match up with its strength. She feels that the song has a sense of beauty and power that she can’t seem to evoke on her own and feels weak and frail because of this. P tells her to keep thinking for just a while longer as they come to reach the shoot location.
Upon arriving, Natsuha is taken back by the scenery. The cameraman tells her that a number of locations were suggested, but this one was decided via a unanimous agreement as it felt like a perfect fit for the song. More staff begin to tell Natsuha that everyone’s been looking forward to putting this song together as they not only want to make something they’ll be proud of, but they also want to see Natsuha shine brighter than ever through their efforts. Producer finally chimes in to let Natsuha know that everyone’s come together for this, but the final turning point in realizing their efforts is with Natsuha. Their hopes are riding on her back. Natsuha begins to understand that her strength doesn’t rest with her alone.
Having gained the strength of everyone else’s support, Natsuha’s doubts begin to fade. Her path has been cleared and now there’s no denying her strength as she carries the weight of everyone’s aspirations with her.
TRUE END - だから私は / That's because I am
Off in the practice room, Natsuha is running strong through her routine once again. Producer is pleased to see her being as zealous as always and she’s now more determined than ever. Natsuha begins to declare her intentions and Producer is already on the same page. She’s aiming for the top and plans to bring everyone there. The staff, the fans, Houkura, and even Producer are all going up with her. Off at the recording location, Natsuha’s final preparations begin. She’s called into the booth to begin and steels herself to be the best she can be.
