Mint Castella of the Girl’s FC Sub-Pantheon of /lig/:

Mint Castella
The Goddess Mint Castella is one of knowledge and history, a god well known throughout the indie continent and a patron of architects with ties to the Retro Reich. Ultimately however, Mint and her clan know not of the violence of war that stains the sands of time in many realms beyond and prefer to live amongst the people of /lig/ in calm and quiet tranquility. Mint Castella’s followers do not take on a specific name for their clan, preferring the general term of “Oomfie” from times long past to refer to both themselves and their close allies though they’ve accepted terms like, “Duawg” and “Castellan” in reference to their documentation. Ethnically, Castellan’s have heavy set builds, bright green eyes, and brown hair with characteristics reminiscent of other dog humanoid races such as a tail, large canines, and dog ears.
A Castellan settlement is rarely ever founded in the common day without some sort of historical significance to the land and indeed most Castellans prefer not to resettle from their original residences at all, preferring their roots in the land sowed and cultured by their ancestors. Castellan’s enjoy their hushed residence in /lig/ and tend not to cause fits or riots, their devotion to Mint is shown through prayers before their meals and venerations to her in ways not dissimilar to the common traditions of the architects, Castellan’s enjoy large feasts and take advantage of Architect farming techniques to make the best out of each harvest. Recreational use of certain herbs such as cannabis is general throughout Castellan villages but restricted from use by the young outside of its use in utility items such as rope. While one might assume the herb has some kind of religious connotation, none seems to be present outside of the context of a feast and socialization.
Castellan’s share a particular verbal quirk where their accents speak in a faintly nasal tone and often struggle to pronounce certain words, the name Castella for instance is often pronounced as Casteller. The general currency of the Castellans is that of the Wan Wan and the phrase Wan Wan is used as a blessing of fortune as well as a blessing to signify a successful deal, Wansday is known as a holy day amongst Castellans and a day of feasts and exchange between them and their oomfies commences in great halls and taverns within their villages to celebrate the fortune and joys of life. Oomfies lack any real law enforcement due to the small size of their villages and close knit nature of their community, preferring instead to have the elders of their tribes sort out issues between their youths and for arguments between elders to be done after a blunt rotation and several snacks prepared.
In settlements outside /lig/, oomfies tend to adopt jobs that relate or are reminiscent of their interests and culture, taking up the roles of teachers, librarians, and chefs when they have the chance.
