You rushed out of the door to your apartment, hastily throwing a jacket over your shoulder to protect yourself from the cold. You had a date tonight, and you weren't going to miss it. The other day you had met up with the coolest guy, he had a cool hat with a U symbol, bright yellow eyes, and the most awesome accent you had ever heard...how could you not ask him out? He seemed surprised you spoke to him, he flinched before looking you over and accepted right away as he scribbled a date, his name, and the time on a sticky note and passed it over to you. Even now, you weren't quite sure why he was so quick to accept, what was so special about you? And who names their son something like MarWiiU? Must be a Nintendo thing.

You two were to meet up at a diner in town, likely not far from his house, but you had to hitch a ride on the bus to get there. As you exited the bus and went down the steps, you saw him. MarWiiU sat there at a table near the front, in a blue shirt, with red overalls that looked like they had eyes on them. The overalls were likely from his iconic horrorbrew friend, as it seemed a little big on him, but honestly? You didn't care much, he was just too damn rad...

You slowly approached him, wiping yourself down in case any dust from the bus was present on your clothes. MarWiiU sprung up when he saw you, practically jumping on you.

"Oh Anon, you made it! Let's go in."

MarWiiU grabs your arm and drags you inside, paying no mind to the other people around. Luckily, the world was filled with a lot of more worrisome things, so no one really cared about this stuff.

MarWiiU ended up dragging you over to a booth near the corner, and you two sat down on opposite sides. MarWiiU looked at you awkwardly for a moment before tapping his fingers on the table, subtly bringing his hand closer to yours, and holding his hand over yours, curling his hand around it. He sighs, before looking you in the eyes.

"Anon...to tell you the truth, this is my first time going on a date. I've never been with a real guy before!"

Real guy? What is he talking about? You suppose the only way to find out is to ask him...

"Well for a while now I've been a little obsessed with a certain Iconic Horrorbrew..."

MarWiiU looks away from you and blushes a bit, clearly a little embarrassed about this topic. You reassure him that you don't have to hear about it now, and he smiles at you.

"Really? But I wanted to tell you! You remind me of Wawario, it's why I wanted to go out with you! And you don't talk much, but I'm still enjoying myself a lot..."

You squeeze MarWiiU's hand and he gasps before covering his face with the menu, avoiding eye contact. Oh right, you were at a diner huh..better order something before the night is over.

The waiter comes over soon enough to take your orders and looks over both you and MarWiiU, it seemed like he was about to say or ask something, but changed his mind. You both place your orders, and both of you get a burger and relax once more.

"So Anon, do you want to hear about what I did the other day?"

The rest of the date continued as expected. You and MarWiiU spoke some more and ate your dinner. You paid for it, of course. Soon enough, you had to go your separate ways. You offered to walk MarWiiU back to his home, which he happily accepted. You walked hand in hand until you got to his doorstep.

You said your goodbyes and were about to turn back around, but MarWiiU quickly stopped you with a friendly handshake.

"Let's go out again sometime Anon!"

Yeah, you were definitely going to make this a regular thing.
