My beloved little sister! I smile every time I get to refer to you as that. We've only been in active contact for so many months, but it feels like I've known you forever. I am glad that we've met, even if it was due to incredibly unfortunate circumstances.
I think I've always been protective of you, like an older sibling. This wasn't made apparent to me until we really started talking. We really are just alike <X–) it still makes me laugh ── we have to be secretly related somehow (dare I say, by accounts?). I have to second you when you say that we can talk about anything... I love to have conversations with you. You're so knowledgeable! It's very inspiring ── I can confidently say that you are part of the reason I've gained my academic spark back. Thank you for that!
Related, I love getting to learn new things from you. I'm quite the logical–mathematical person, as you know, and you're basically my antithesis, but that makes talking to you that much more favorable. You know so much about so many things! I love when you pass your knowledge onto us.
When we're just hanging out, playing games together, paralleling, et cetera, you're always so kind and playful ── no call with you is boring, and I mean that in the best way possible! You bring a certain whimsical vibe to the Irong Lung that your Pears greatly enjoy. I don't think I could ever get tired of your goofs & gaffs... they're often a highlight of my day!
Thank you for always being so patient with me ── I know we both have very selective patience, and so I feel very grateful that you've granted me some of yours. I'm forever honored that you've given me your support, and I am happy to give you mine as well. You truly are like a sister to me... I often refer to you as such, even when you aren't there.
