As a reminder if you want to see a card completely, visit https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/cardlist/ with a translate add-on or utility, can copy the card text and paste it to google translate or DeepL. Also as extra utility, here's the link to the avatar abilities if you're curious, remember to have a translator on standby if you're not fluent in Japanese, https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/play/avatar_ability.php And Dimps-sama, if you are reading this, pls WM2, I get to make 50 decks in 36 hours, you get a tax right-off if it bombs if that's how it works in Japan, and your devs can have a simple dev cycle that shouldn't be too painful, everyone wins. H1 -> MM6, let it happen. Also if you wish to buy SDBH cards, good luck with your native customs, https://jp.mercari.com/ is way to look up SDBH cards, its best to search with the card number (UGM6-055 for UGM6-055 Vegeta (Xeno) as an example), and that if you try to go for big name cards like UGM7-SEC3 Goku Black, it can get really expensive ($40 on 9/1/2024 when this was published)

I've Returned
Dived my head back into the crack bowl of Carddass while Avantasia blares beside me and I didn't come out empty. I got a few ideas and also realized something else I could do, since there's no new cards, I could try to bring updates for some old decks I had. Now I do have deck ideas for the other mainline saiyan fusions (no Vegeks (Xeno), 10 cards and only one ability of note, maybe I could as an extra for Vegito), but each is getting a separate link and order's being done by release. And Gotenks was the first one to be penned in Manga so he gets to go first. Will also warn that these deck techs will assume you are familiar with the cards/game so they won't give an indepth explanation for the cards like I usually do, if you need all the numbers than the database is up above alongside the specific card in question to use a translate add-on for.

Card | Why |

MM1-071 Gotenks | STA disruption! Yeah as you can see the deck is another stun-ish deck and with Gotenks he offers that quite well so far as you can hurt the enemy, his PWR LV and fixed DMG is always appreciated but is mainly here to complement Cell and try to keep the opponent down after beginning it so, again another punish to those that use MM3 Frieza as their sole STA generation since he won't amount to much PWR LV R1 and even R2 may not be amazing as 1.5 bars isn't a full 2 bars. |
UGM2-SEC3 Cell | The R1 stun tool, could be a few others but goal is that he's also disruption, stealing HE and PWR/GRD to try and help push through damage as he can have a bit of PWR while the enemy has minimal GRD, especially since he gets boosted by Goku R1 to hit even harder. |
UGM1-SEC Aeos | First, a strong keysword lock and also our way of handling MM5-022 Vegeta's fixed PWR LV, and then able to handle enemy summons if they have any and also some extra speed/disruption for the deck. Just a nice batch of effects to have to either attempt to not die and also go first. |
MM6-064 SKoT | And here's the 1 HE to help with Aeos turning off the PWR LV, the defense is nice to have when you just need a panick button, can hold out on using it for R2 since R1 the opponent will be slow and you won't have to worry about much in the way of offense hopefully. |
UGM4-050 Trunks (Xeno) / UM12-052 Trunks (Xeno) | We are down bad for STA generation, the former lets you generate a bar for everyone on the team when you spend 7+ bars of STA a round, thankfully we do have Aeos to be 3 bars on her own so you don't need everyone to be an attacker to profit if you want to play it slow. UM12-052 Trunks (Xeno) is another form if you believe the enemy will have more PWR than you despite everything and gives you 25% more DMG reduction alongside the STA. |
MM5-020 Goku | Now for the very funny thing, half the deck is boosted by this card and with the little STA we're working with, we need to make each bar count as well as be a ton of damage. And considering Gotenks/Cell/Aeos, we will be going first R1 and hopefully R2 meaning we get to go brr with 50% DMG reduction and 3x PWR every round, even if this won't stack. |
GoD HA | Gotta have the fixed DMG to make the MM1 blood of saiyans card sing, if you feel like you're fine without the fixed DMG, probably go with a BS Kai HA since STA generation really opens up a slot and with the disruption/mitigation, I doubt the El Android/Namekian HAs will work as often as you'd like but they could be something to consider if experience says otherwise. For the GoD in particular you probably want to use the EL GoD or the HR GoD just for either more STA disruption (to hate against PLBP generation) or more PWR disruption (to hopefully not die). |
And here it is. Giving the MM1 Blood of Saiyans Gotenks a home and also exploring more of the strong stun concept in ways that isn't just BM6 Broly. The main hiccup with the deck is that it is heavily relying on it to do the heavy lifting and being very cheeky with STA but surely with the STA disruption, Goku giving a ton of PWR LV multiplication and Aeos, we should be able to take the lead and hit hard without having to worry about the common culprits. Deck could also have issues with DMG reduction but at the same point, there is some fixed DMG to help with shredding through.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM1-061 / UGM1-062 Warriors in Black | Aeos core is Aeos core and Aeos core is good. Just ignored it because while these help with the deck and enable a lot, it's also rough on the deck slots as they'd replace the SKoT and Trunks (Xeno), leaving only the 6th card to be flexible. Theoretically you can replace UGM1 WiB with something else like UGM9-059 if using a Goku but it's still strict in terms of what cards are to be used. |
MM5-055 Namekian in Black + Unit Members | So this is an alt towards the 1 HE for R1 for Aeos, even has a dark shenron but now you also can make use of UGM8-059 Glass Warrior in Black to make the most of his sealing of HE via abilities for DMG reduction pierce for the team, main hiccup is room since she's not a unit member and if you want this card's unit you'll need a Future Gohan in Black which means you'll have no room for complete flex slots for UGM8 Glass Warrior in Black or something else. |
BM6-068 Broly | An alternate R1 stun card for Cell in case you want much more reliability, could have the Gotenks replaced with UGM9-SEC2 Gotenks for STA generation to have more freedom on Trunks (Xeno) or the rest of the deck in general. |
BM12-SEC2 Kid Fuu | Lowers enemy STA by half a bar and also halves their PWR, |
MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR) / MM6-SEC3 Gogeta (GT) / UGM9-SEC2 Gotenks | While the deck focused on making SKoT's unit work and the other half of her ability proc, you could go with any of these in place of Trunks (Xeno)/Goku as strong rewards for winning the PLBP, STA generation, revive spam, lowering enemy PWR to 1 alongside sealing fixed DMG, all of these are broken but I wanted to be special and not broken. Break glass in case of emergency and you're salty. |
HJ6-63 Trunks (Xeno) | You could try this if afraid of high GRD though you will be lacking in STA unless you swap the HA. |
BM2-046 / MM5-009 Trunks (Xeno) | These two have Solid Tactics if wanting to be more aggressive/one-shot, both also have units we can't fit on the team as is so it's just for the one-shot of STA. |
MM6-SEC4 / MM5-SEC Goku | Both help with speed, the former with tons of fixed PWR LV (sadly no HE and this round only but is also team PWR) while also making sure you can't be hurt via STA DMG as much if you win the PLBP, the latter is 2 bars of STA + 10k PWR if you have someone with less than 100 PWR which is something Aeos really wants, good if you are running a deck focused on Aeos and not the SKoT. |
Gotenks on Benadryl
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM4-SEC2 Gotenks | The goal is to get some HE to make the most of the transformation and use it to win by a ton of fixed DMG, gains 1k per enemy attacker for the round only and gains 1k permanently on transformation per HE you have. Deck wants to play slow and let this card just threaten lethal eventually. |
MM5-023 Vegeta | And here's part one of the core, comes with DMG reduction and retargeting and if you win CIs, you get STA for the team which is important. Another thing to consider is that the Goku side can be used to help finish games if it's late if you won some CIs. |
MM6-SEC Kid Goku | Here to help with making sure we have healing to help with not dying and maybe some more fixed DMG to go alongside Gotenks. |
UGM6-034 Hirudegarn | Part of a PWR disruption core, 99% of the time just in the supporter to help the next card work. |
MM6-065 Trunks (Xeno) | Halves enemy PWR/GRD at the start of the round and then when an attacker, if he has a bar of STA he halves the DMG/PWR LV of all enemies with less than 1 PWR. |
UGM3-SEC2 Jiren / BM5-027 Goku | So Jiren is here because I believe that with Hirudegarn/Trunks (Xeno), you won't have much of any issues to handle enemy PWR and seal their fixed DMG (even if they have Frieza (Revived), handling 25k PWR at the start of R2 isn't that bad since Trunks halves them to 12.5k and Hirudegarn can handle the rest, also note this won't help them R1 so team-wide half DMG/PWR LV is possible), since with Trunks (Xeno) and the PWR disruption, you should be fine against everything. That said if MM5-022 Vegeta or MM3-SEC Vegetas aren't common in your area, then you can use a nice variety of card for this slot, preferably something to handle with CIs for Vegeta or just more STA generation besides Vegeta. BM5-027 Goku my preferably pick as the flexible STA/CI disruption, the PWR disruption and block burst could also come in handy alongside the free GRD when an attacker. Jiren does offer a bit of a floor ceiling with the 5k fixed PWR LV and another damage dealer that will end games on his own if not attended too which can be nice for the deck, Jiren + BS Kai HA means you force a 7k PWR LV Limiter app against an Ozotto player instead of something else. |
HA | BS Kai HA or HR/EL Android HA depending on your needs and experiences, Kai HA is one shot of STA recovery and CI disruption while the Androids are repeatable if the enemy has 8k+ PWR LV, and we don't do anything on fixed PWR LV so this can come up. Hugely dependent on what you're using the 6th slot for and what you want it to do though. |
The deck is slow but with Gotenks, Jiren, and/or the 20k fixed DMG app for the final round, the deck should be able to have a solid win con and win even if it takes a while. I do trust in Hirudegarn + Trunks (Xeno) to handle the vast majority of cards and compositions, especially if you proc first so Hirudegarn and Trunks (Xeno) can do their thing before the opponent's PWR generation if it is in the same timing as you (and not in the PLBP like with MM3 Frieza (Revived)). The main hiccup is potentially with speed on making sure you are getting the HEs every round, Gotenks transforms R3 and Vegeta is only half a bar per CI won.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM2-064 Gohan (SH) / UGM2-062 Piccolo (SH) | YOu can get similar utility with Hirudegarn but just with a lower ceiling and more of an issue with MM3 Frieza. |
UGM8-SEC Fusions | I already did a deck with him and Trunks (Xeno) back on MM6Decks and I wanted variety, https://rentry.org/mm6decks#trunks-xeno-heralding-super-dragon-ball-heroes go here if you want to see that deck. |
Byproducts of an Experiment | You see this on four cards: MM4-010 Towa, MM6-017 Cell, BM8-036 Gero, and PUMS9-02 Super Fuu. The goal is that if the card has less than 1 bar of STA, the enemy won't get co-op groups which can help with making Vegeta very tanky and generate a lot of STA, the main hiccup being that it is bad synergy with Kid Goku's Healing/DMG utility since you could be wasting healing on low attacks and then not have the healing later but is absolutely something to consider for the deck. The best one of the lot might be MM6-017 Cell because of the EX Spirit Bomb Smash being STA damage you can build around but otherwise it's up to you, Towa's CAA might be helpful against retargeting strategies and Super Fu stands as the one with the most HP and PWR if you want to run fanfic writer instead of demon mommy. |
Gotenks Has Smiling Friends
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM9-020 Gotenks | 20k Fixed PWR LV R2 onward immediately is the main allure of the card, the GRD pierce and DMG reduction? Maybe if it made any sense whatsoever and not demand a double take, that's more for arcade missions than online PvP that I specialize in. Now that number is, not amazing nowadays MM5-022 Vegeta gives you that with fixed DMG at higher values and even free super attacks if you want, so what's the point? We get to touch DMG/PWR LV multiplication unlike him. The fixed PWR LV is a very strong compliment/contingency for the team's speed. And lets go with immediacy. |
ABS-22 Piccolo | Huge R1 stun on HE that we'll want for a card later while also procing Gotenks' fixed PWR LV. In a pinch the lock-on can also seal CAAs whether its MM3-SEC or we aren't able to proc BM9-SEC2 Goku. |
MM4-SEC4 Super Buu | The defensive pivot to help with not dying angle, we do have stat generation to keep him well fed, the change rush if enabled also acts as a tech towards other Super Buus or Godkus. |
BM9-SEC2 Goku | If you win the PLBP by 3k+ PWR LV, you disable the CAA/TAAs of both teams in the PLBP except for his own (double dragon fist that equals 10k more fixed PWR LV). This is here to help with Super Buu work as a way to seal enemy CAAs so they can't do that to try and shred Super Buu down and require less damage to go for the one hit kill. Something to also note is that the deck isn't too hurt by the lack of action abilities, sure it sucks to lose out on Broly's burst but Piccolo's lock-on procs fine so we can hate on MM3-SEC if we need too. Vegito and Gotenks are summons so they ignore this restriction. You have your HA which can suck but still is whatever. |
UGM7-060 Broly | Since we do have such a strong stun R1, this can cover us for R2 and potentially let you go for a different app to limit the enemy's PWR LV when they slap you with 7k for R2. The main thing is that this doesn't help with other fixed PWR LV decks and is more for those using PWR LV multiplication. This is a funny flex slot so if you want, you can replace this with MM5-SEC3 Gogeta or UM8-045 Poutine to cover your bases there. |
MM4-SEC Vegito | Here to help with some extra STA and also PWR LV so that we can try to compete with MM5-022 Vegeta when they're not imposing an app on us, admittedly isn't the best since we aren't using BM9-045 Kid Buu but should still be solid and the extra PWR/GRD per HE at the PLBP can help with giving everyone fuel to keep feeding Super Buu stats. |
HA | EL Kai or BS Kai, former gives your team STA DMG resistance which is important while the latter is more fixed PWR LV, both offer one-time use of STA generation + CI Disruption which can go a long way for the deck. If you want an alternative that isn't a HA you could look into UGM9-059 Bardock in Black while replacing MM4-SEC Vegito for ABS-15 Gogeta (GT), former is STA Generation + STA DMG resistance while the latter can have a higher ceiling on PWR/GRD Generation when low on PWR/GRD even if your deck becomes overall slower. |
So this deck feels more like an art piece of hope, pretty much that when its working it's amazing but against common PWR LV Limiter effects, you become a noodle hoping Super Buu is enough to get you to the next round where there's a good chance the opponent outspeeds you there anyway since this is MM and not UGM. That said I do think there is some bite to the deck if your meta is a bit more casual or nostalgic. Super Buu is still really strong defense, MM4-SEC Vegito promises nice stats and DMG while Piccolo will halt many decks early game even if he does nothing to MM3 Frieza (Revived) (if you wondered why he disappeared in videos), and with disruption the 20k fixed PWR LV goes hard.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
ABS-22 / H1-17 Piccolo | Either get a strong stun effect for R1 or get a block burst for the entire round. Gotenks only cares if Piccolo is on the team, not if he's an attacker or not. |
MM6-SEC2 Goku | There is absolutely a variant of the deck you could do with this card, had UGM8-005 Piccolo but couldn't find the last 2 cards to really click with the deck with this Gotenks. Cards like UGM10-004/MM6-004 Vegeta were under consideration as more fuel to the Z-awakening alongside MM3-014 Goku to give it pierce while MM1-SEC enabled a unit aggro focus possibly if you're against players with summons. |
MM5-SEC3 Gogeta | Not only another climax we can leverage under Goku's sealing but also a hater on PWR LV Limiter effects by reducing the enemy's PWR to 1k for the round which can help with preventing death. |
Gotenks is Indeed a Z-Fighter
Card | Why |
---|---|
PBBS14-03 Gotenks | A Z-warrior card with a PWR LV Limiter unit with Goku and Adult Gohan... Surely there's something here. Admittedly his Z effect is genuinely good for the crew and his ability isn't half-bad either if you're against hellfire god meteors and the like acting as a tech against them. |
MM6-SEC2 Goku | A nice stack of DMG, PWR LV, and defense, 10k HP + a DMG limiter effect sounds pretty good from a unit member. And yes, you saw the HP number right, only 10k. |
MM5-059 Laggs | Goku is only DMG mitigation when a Z-warrior's attacked, thankfully the 1.5x GRD makes sure someone of him and Gotenks will be. |
MM4-018 / HGD4-25 Adult Gohan | The CI disruption alongside the PWR LV disruption unit is an excellent pairing with Gotenks and considering Goku's situation, we don't need him as a supporter that much aside from DMG reduction for action abilities? The latter is a very good option if you want to pair the PWR LV multiplication with some speed, giving your team 9k fixed PWR LV alongside increasing Goku's HP boost to 15k instead of 10k. |
BM8-SEC2 Vegeta | Look, there are probably better options but I also can't deny myself funny nuke button too much, especially when Adult Gohan helps a good deal on making the card work. No GRD/DMG reduction or Hellfire effect will save them, they are forced to win a fast CI with no miracle perfects or explode into a revive if they have one. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) | And considering that DMG multiplication wouldn't work for Vegeta and STA generation is a pretty nice thing to have, broken bastard is here. No this won't get me to main him in Sparking Zero, main crew probably be of Zamasu + SS4s. F for SSBE being an install for SSB Vegeta though. |
HA | Very much up to personal preference and what Gohan you're using, I'd probably go SS4LB Note because big damage and extra speed never hurt but a HR Android could help with CIs more as can some Kai, BS Kai is extra speed to feed Frieza (Revived) and force less optimal apps from the opponent, etc. In theory you could comfortably have this as a spot for a 3rd Z-card since they represent 5k extra HP on their own and even 3k more fixed PWR LV if using HGD4-25 Adult Gohan in the deck in place of a HA. |
In some ways the deck is plain and in other ways it's cool. MM6-SEC2 Goku is a dumb card and is very easy to support while offering a good deal to the team in defense and even some offense. Main thing to worry about for the deck is attack seals, Demon God HAs can ruin you for a turn since they seal you, UGM5-SEC2 Aeos is something to worry about, and while we don't need to go first, the deck doesn't like its HE generation being limited. That said this deck is also malleable enough that you can take your own spin on the last 3 cards depending on what you want, if you go with HGD4-25 Adult Gohan for example that frees up the Vegeta slot to any card since you're not having a unit to deal with.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
BM6-019 Gohan | You could absolutely do some variant of the deck to lean harder into MM6-SEC2 Goku but I'm not doing that. |
ABS-32 Adult Gohan | 3 HE Unit S to limit enemy PWR LV to 1k if you add in Piccolo which isn't the tallest ask in the world, though his ability isn't the best at just being some extra DMG alongside CI disruption when his HR co-op group attacks. |
BM11-070 Vegeta | Basically you are given the leverage to let the guy be a supporter for a couple of rounds before being an attacker and having 3k/6k PWR LV/DMG along the way and his unit is not a tall ask, only asking for an Adult Trunks of which there's the ABS one for some STA generation if you keep him firmly in the Support Area. |
UGM3-045 Vegeta | If you want DMG reduction pierce for the team alongside more proactive fixed DMG, this card can do the trick, the support utility is not that valuable but who knows, maybe it'll save you from MM5-018 Goku and his squad of action abilities from deleting you? |
MM3-SEC Vegeta | Yes, this can be your unit member and is absurdly strong and after you use Gohan's unit, you can swap to SSBKK Goku for more speed and a seal effect for no cost. |
MM5-SEC2 Vegeta | More so because of who I chose as the STA generation for the deck but yes, his unit would be active and with Adult Gohan you could win the CI for him letting his ant-godku tech be more reliable though the hellfire tech is mostly invalidated by Gotenks. |
ABS-02 Vegeta | With solid enough STA generation this card can hit hard on its own while giving the team back some HE to help fuel units, MM5-051 Vegeta is also very similar but his raw damage ceiling is lower with a higher celing for HE generation to compensate. |
ABS-27 Vegeta | The GRD disruption's nice and his unit can be very nice for offense and defense. |
UGM9-064 Dark King Demigra & MM2-072 Vegeta | While the latter can be a nice unit member and together there's a nice batch of damage and stats, they don't work well with Goku (the 30% DMG reduction from Vegeta would attract Laggs while the 2x DMG taken would make it where action abilities are much easier to threaten death even if Bojack's Brutal Shield was repeatable). |
A Father-Son Assault Across Time
Card | Why |
---|---|
HGD7-SEC Gotenks (Xeno) | Xeno Fusion Warrior is there to make sure we can win the PLBP R2, sad this sucks because of the constant UGM10 Gamma No.2 and PWR LV Limiter apps in that round that make the card nigh unusable. Consolation is that his freeze attack also helps with shredding the enemy as it makes them take 1.5x DMG, if we land on the godku/Super Buu or have some form of retargeting to make it work. |
MM5-SEC3 Gogeta | What's that? They limited the PWR LV? Strange, suddenly the enemy team has noodles for arms, maybe they're a good enough opponent for Cabba, not sure on ultimate fusion. Als |
BM6-062 Demon Goddess Robel | And to more serious talk, a second synergy piece for Gogeta because when we are limited, we do want to make use of the DMG reduction he gains as well, 70% DMG reduction + 1k PWR is a very solid combo even if we don't touch action abilities like UGM5-017 Goku. |
UGM9-061 Future Warrior in Black | Stats like this have a lot of value in the deck, Gotenks (Xeno) wants the stats to go faster R2 while Gogeta appreciates having more GRD to defend himself. Furthermore the HE is nice because we are using Warrior in Black and both units are good, either first disabling enemy DMG multiplication or enemy miracle perfects depending on your needs and what you're against. |
MM5-018 Goku | Considering UGM9-059 Warrior in Black next, we can get away for a greedy Goku and I figured the best thing to do would be a free revive just in case things went south. It is easily possibly R1 we take a ton of damage but still live due to MM4-SEC5 Vegito being fun and if we do, we can cheese through R2 and then come out on R3. That said this is a very flexible slot and could change depending on your preferences needs, UM3-038 Goku does exist as a R1 stun after all. Oh, the card also offers more miracle perfects for the team if you get the revive. |
UGM9-059 Warrior in Black | STA generation and also STA DMG resistance, we need them since Robel doesn't offer STA DMG prevention for Gogeta and him getting stunned could suck. |
HA | Very personal preference, if you hate MM1 Ozotto and CIs you can go BS Kai, if you hate the enemy living you can go SS4LB Note, if feeling very risky this can go into a non HA card for GRD/DMG reduction pierce. |
This should be the last of retargeting shenanigans hopefully, didn't realize that every deck up to this point had it. Something to consider is UGM9 Future Warrior in Black's placement, while its nice to get GRD for MM5-SEC3 Gogeta you can leverage his selected generation to make others get it so he won't be targeted by any UGM8-SEC Vegito you come across.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
HGD4-SEC2 Tarble + Byproduct of Experiment | You could utilize Tarble's high base GRD alongside MM5-059 Laggs + the Byproduct of Experiments to generate a healthy amount of PWR for the team, Gotenks (Xeno) included since the enemy won't have co-op attacks to limit the PWR Generation. Note that for this bend of the deck, you may want to consider MM4-027 Great Saiyaman just to give Tarble more DMG reduction instead of relying on just 4k+ GRD. This take is also greedy on card slots (Gotenks (Xeno), Tarble, Byproduct, Great Saiyaman, and Laggs is 5 cards already). |
MM4-SEC Vegito | The big thing for the deck is huge permanent PWR, Vegito does it on his own by making sure Gotenks (Xeno) gets the 3x PWR, going from 8k with app bonuses to a healthy 24k alongside PWR LV multiplication before giving more PWR/GRD genreation in the PLBP alongside STA generation just means for a single card, this does everything the deck wants. The GRD generation being valuable as a way to leverage mroe of MM5-SEC3 Gogeta when targeted with Robel. Just decided to keep the fusion assault a father-son pair instead of some weird father or trying to fit small Gotenks in to the deck for UGM4-CP4 Piccolo's unit, though this could be something to lean into since Piccolo's unit is good as even more stats and ABS-31 Gotenks could be funny as something to bait a limiter effect alongside free revive if we get his CAA. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) | May be surprised he's not here, the main hiccup is that on the assumption of us being PWR LV Limited, there's arguably better options even if untethered he'd be best. Could use the card, especially with MM4-SEC Vegito if wanting to forsake UGM4-CP4 Piccolo's unit, but not the only option. |
A Demon TP Joint Assault
Card | Why |
---|---|
PCS19-09 Gotenks (Xeno) | Pride in Battle being enabled gives the team a nice helping of PWR, pairs nice with the stun package to make the most of this, even if not as amazing as MM3-052 Frieza (Revived). |
HGD10-SEC Demon God Demigra | Not only acting as STA generation but his god meteor and spare HE also goes well with the deck, the fixed DMG of the former helps with the deck being able to do damage even amidst DMG reduction while potentially punishing the opponent for trying to play fast the next round. |
UGM6-060 Demon Goddess Robel | Made to pair with Poutine and Demigra, former to make a strong enough R1 stun core to let us win the PLBP for R1 against HGD9 Future Trunks while the latter enables some extra healing for the deck if you can win her CI, 2k HP per enemy attacker isn't half bad. |
UM8-045 Demon Goddess Poutine | Yuri partner in crime for Robel by making sure to reduce enemy STA and disable PWR LV every round, also part of the reason why there is a focus on STA generation for the deck since we really want to make sure she procs next round. |
UGM9-SEC2 Gotenks | And then our final core, with this we do have a few options but I decided to go more defensive with these two. With Robel and Poutine, we should be able to win the PLBP barring other decks using similar stun cores, meaning we can always get full STA for the team, the HE generation is nice even if too late for Pride in Battle and the extra miracle perfect chance helps with winning the CIs for Robel's healing. Vegito then exists to help end the game or if you're really good, try to rely on perfect CIs for STA generation since an EL group's perfect effect is STA generation for even more damage. |
MM1-SEC3 Goku / BM10-SEC2 Masked Black | And then this monkey's here for defense, team DMG reduction every round alongside being able to seal DMG Multiplication/fixed DMG if he hits the right row is very valuable, his god meteor doesn't exist. That said if you want to be funny, and trust in winning the CIs and PLBP, BM10-SEC2 Masked Black is healing, GRD, and retargeting that pairs well with Gotenks STA generation, the main hiccup is that you'll also be wanting Vegito to be active to help with the CIs. |
HA | The HA very much depends on the core you have before, with the (BR) core, I'd go with a BS Kai HA, helps with early HE to expand the early lead but for other cores, other HAs are better, with Gotenks and Goku it'd be a BS GoD HA for the fixed DMG + GRD shredding. |
So this was originally the case for MM6-SEC3 Gogeta (GT) and HJ8-50 Adult Gotenks (revives from former should fuel some decent PWR and negative DMG reduction never hurt anyone but sadly it'd just be big PWR + negative DMG reduction and nothing more), sadly I just never jived with the deck (if you really want, you can replace Demigra and Gotenks (Xeno) with the two and keep the rest the same, maybe replace Robel with UGM2 Cell or BM6 Broly, the core can also be MM5-022 Vegeta + MM3-052 Frieza (Revived)) so it got swapped into focusing PCS19-09 Gotenks (Xeno) to have fun with Pride in Battle. The deck should be functional though idk if it's that great into the MM metagame, the type of deck where if a friend and I were having a more relaxed gamed of SDBH, it'd carry itself decently well, especially if you can land Goku's effect and win CIs. You have some solid stuns to halt the opponent's momentum and fixed DMG to go around for DMG reduction.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM10-CP8 Dark King Demigra | Duplicate of Pride in Battle with Gotenks (Xeno) to be very funny but we do like having HE generation for when we have to be slow. |
PUMS13-39 Dark King Demigra | Works with Robel and is both halves of the Dark Shenron stun combo of Strongest of the Strong + Dark Shenron. |
UGM8-055 Dark King Demigra | A more offensive take on Demigra's slot if you feel like you just need more raw damage and less boosts from Pride in Battle, steals PWR/GRD from the enemy and his god meteor is 1.5k fixed DMG per enemy attacker instead of 1k. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) + MM5-022 Vegeta | These can be considered the competitive core if you want to push this deck to the absolute limit, might be lacking a bit in defense but nothing that a dead opponent can't fix. |
UM5-067 Paragus (BR) + MM3-070 Broly (BR) | Paragus is on the right timing for Pride in Battle and 3 HE is really nice, if only there was a good Broly (BR) card. MM3-070 Broly (BR) offers some speed and damage for the deck that couldn't hurt but your next best thing is maybe UM6-SEC2 just for more raw damage. |
UM11-063 Goku (BR) + UGM7-BCP8 Vegeta (BR) | This was the initial idea for the deck as a nice throwback, UM11-063 Goku (BR) is STA generation and doubles his PWR/PWR LV in the PLBP, not much nowadays but still could help to give us a leg against other cards, the summon helps as spare damage, especially if we get to keep 10 HE. Vegeta (BR) meanwhile is Pride in Battle + Hellfire God Meteor... when we already have one, and is why this got shelved here. |
MM1-070 Teen Gohan / MM1-072 Vegito / MM1-073 Gogeta | Considering we are using the Blood of Saiyans + GoD HA, these three are nice cards to look into for more raw damage or speed, STA generation/negative enemy DMG reduction/PWR LV multiplication in that order. |
Sparking Episode: The Legendary Rage of The Gentle Soul
Card | Why |
---|---|
UM8-042 Gohan (Xeno) | On HE destruction the cards gets to hit really hard, 4x PWR/DMG is pretty good even if other cards can outpace it. |
UGM3-SEC Gohan (SH) | And our source of HE destruction, takes 1 a round to give the team 500 fixed DMG when you have 2+, totalling to 3.5k a round. Furthermore, he comes with some disruption on a random co-op group every round which can help a bit. |
MM5-051 Vegeta | HE generation that also hates on retargeting measures with his burst, that can also re-proc Gogeta (GT)'s boosted stat generation when it sets his PWR to 1. Just note for registration order, have this before Gohan (SH). |
MM4-SEC4 Super Buu | Not only huge defense but also to help proc MM5-SEC Goku and ABS-15 Gogeta (GT) for huge benefits. |
MM5-SEC Goku | Gives the team invaluable PWR and STA, 10k of the former helps with Gohan (Xeno)'s damage and the latter for the general functioning of the deck. The PWR/HE on attacker CI win is also appreciated. |
ABS-15 Gogeta (GT) | Finally more stats for the team to help feed Super Buu, gets a strong R1 as its 2k PWR/GRD per HE which can be really nice even if later rounds diminish this to 1k per HE. |
HA | EL Kai HA for STA DMG resistance on Super Buu as to maximize his healing, could be BS Kai or SS4LB Note for speed/DMG if preferred. |
The deck is the first of two to be more general theming so you're not stuck on just Gotenks for the list. The deck itself was basically to try and give room for Gohan (Xeno) room to fly for big damage, just that the rest of the cards fit together for a slow but big damage deck on paper, main fear is if we can't go over the top of big GRD/DMG reduction though Vegeta is GRD pierce while his burst + buu's change rush alcan reduce one enemy's DMG reduction enough to explode.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
MM4-046 Goku | This is the HE destruction card you can go to build around if you want to proc Gohan (Xeno) and have access to the super unit attack. As the repeatable nature of Gohan (SH) means we can't get 10 HE for the unit. |
MM2-071 Broly / UGM7-063 Goku (BR) | While Gohan (SH) focuses on small gains for small HE destruction, comfortably enabling super attacks, these two pair better with extreme generation + UGM5-054 Goku for bigger effects. Broly is 2k fixed DMG per HE destroyed while Goku (BR) is PWR theft. |
BM4-SEC3 Gohan (Future) | While the deck is going big HE for Gogeta (GT), a more conservative deck could exist, he will give you the HE even if he doesn't restore STA. |
BM7-SEC2 Masked Black | If against cards that can't be stunned, not only HE but also GRD/DMG reduction pierce which is amazing. |
UGM1-062 Namekian in Black | An option to explore if you want to use Bardock in Black, HE+fixed PWR LV is nice. |
UGM5-067 Gamma No.1 | Same idea as before but leveraging the two URs that Gamma No.2 has, R2 stun or extra PWR for Gohan (Xeno) + PWR LV Limiter unit. |
UGM6-SEC Gogeta (Xeno) | Potential HE generator with some speed and transitions into big damage when you don't need HE. |
UGM7-SEC3 Goku Black | HE generator if against Gokus and possible PWR theft if you want to try and leverage that. |
UGM9-061 Future Warrior in Black | HE generation alongside stats but didn't play well with the rest of the deck. |
UGM10-056 SKoT | HE generator that helps with CIs but relies on enemy supporters, also comes with STA for the team. |
UGM10-SEC Goku | Too slow HE generation for the deck but technically counts and fulfills defense needs barring enemy MM4-SEC5 Vegito or something. |
MM3-016 Super Vegeta | Way too funny an option not too include, sadly Gohan (Xeno) is an HR so even if Gohan (SH) or Goku (BR) might be enough to complement him, needs too much support to be reasonable. |
MM4-049 Future Trunks | Requiring Mai sucks but a way to generate HE is by being fast as fuck. |
HGD4-SEC2 Tarble | Pair with byproducts of an experiment + retargeting for tons of PWR, may need MM4 Great Saiyaman to be defensive enought though. |
HGD10-SEC2 Demon God Demigra | Torrential Magic is just what the deck would like alongside Dark God Meteor if going for a much slower deck. |
UGM5-054 Goku + MM6-064 SKoT + SH2-53 Trunks (Xeno) + Goku (Xeno) | SKoT is free HE while Goku's free super attacks + STA. Then Trunks (Xeno) is a PWR LV Limiter unit with a Golu (Xeno) of your choice, and each unit is a defensive stance + CI disruption to help not die. |
BM11-70 Vegeta + UGM5-023 Adult Trunks + MM5-020 Goku + BM6-ASEC Gogeta (BR) + MM6-064 SKoT | Deck idea if you don't want to leverage a HA than this is a thing, 2 HE start of round means Vegeta's unit is online to get under HGD9 Future Trunks and Adult Trunks follows up with another PWR LV Limiter unit while MM5 Goku is damage and speed for the team. |
Sparking Episode: A Chaotic Meeting of the Minds
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM9-064 Dark King Demigra | Gives the team negative DMG reduction if they can't use their super attacks, proccing Vegeta, while also giving them STA and 2x DMG for the round. |
MM2-072 Vegeta | 5k PWR/GRD + STA is really good in a compact package, also since he has a free super attack, he can be a retarget dummy to make use of his 30% DMG reduction. Just make sure Demigra activates first. |
UGM5-054 Goku | For Demigra to keep activating you need low HE, thus HE destruction. He is STA and free super attacks when your HE's destroyed. |
BM6-062 Robert / UGM5-059 Lagss | Retargeting for the team, Robel is 3k GRD and makes sure to target the ally that takes least DMG taken in the PLBP in case Chilled gets weird Laggs offer STA DMG prevention but does the check earlier. Personal preference, note Lagss does have Super Hearts if you want to try leveraging his GRD/DMG reduction pierce. |
UM9-060 Metal Cooler / UGM3-SEC Gohan (SH) | The HE destruction cards of choice, both offer more damage but in different ways, Gohan (SH) offers slight disruption and needs less HE but destroys less. Main thing is I just used Gohan (SH) last deck. |
MM4-027 Great Saiyaman / MM2-SEC2 Gogeta | Extra DMG reduction for Vegeta to hopefully not explode alongside free damage in different ways. Gogeta is more defense while Great Saiyaman is more offense since we vomit enough STA to feed him. |
HA | BS Kai for the speed just to make sure you're in the clear for HE though you could go SS4LB Note if you're fine on that normally. |
From what I can tell, I never did a deck with Dark King Demigra + Gohan and I see why. Took a bit of hurricane weather for me to figure out something to make the deck really pop off as the standard 3-card core just never felt like it went high enough in theory, just a bit short and always looking like something you could've made back in UGM9 barring the Vegeta. For the deck itself it should be fine, certainly looks like it functions, Vegeta's innate reduction + Great Saiyaman should be tanks while the GRD keeps him fine while all the DMG multiplication with the rest of the deck should make sure the enemy's taking heavy damage.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
BM4-045 Adult Gohan | Helps free up not needing retaegeting for the deck but I still found a lack of direction on making something of the deck with the three card core since you probably still want HE destruction and they cover themselves well enough without giving room for synergies to exploit. |
MM4-SEC4 Super Buu | Could use this in Robel's slot if using BM4 Adult Gohan since Vegeta covers the stats for the card and he is retargeting himself. |
UGM7-063 Goku (BR) | If you need a card to destroy half of your HE than this is the pick, the PWR theft can help with the deck not dying hopefully while making sure demigra's active even when going to the max with Great Saiyaman. |
