Notes
As a reminder if you want to see a card completely, visit https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/cardlist/ with a translate add-on or utility, can copy the card text and paste it to google translate or DeepL. Also as extra utility, here's the link to the avatar abilities if you're curious, remember to have a translator on standby if you're not fluent in Japanese, https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/play/avatar_ability.php And Dimps-sama, if you are reading this, pls WM2, I get to make 50 decks in 36 hours, you get a tax right-off if it bombs if that's how it works in Japan, and your devs can have a simple dev cycle that shouldn't be too painful, everyone wins. H1 -> MM2, let it happen. Also if you wish to buy SDBH cards, good luck with your native customs, https://jp.mercari.com/ is way to look up SDBH cards to personally own them, note its best to search with the card number ("UGM6-055" for UGM6-055 Vegeta (Xeno) as an example), and that if you try to go for big name cards like UGM7-SEC3 Goku Black, it can go into hundreds of dollars but other cards are relatively cheap.
Super Vegeta
Finished looking on Twitter one day and sees a deck with MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR) and MM3-016 Super Vegeta
Reads up on Gogeta (BR) and Super Vegeta
Huh, yeah that checks out, don't know how I missed this one, guess the idea I might've had was that Gogeta (BR) being able to co-op attack was too good but if you want you could just treat Super Vegeta as a defensive card, 50% DMG reduction while the enemy has no PWR or Fixed DMG is pretty good to work with and Gogeta (BR) also has huge GRD meaning he and HA is 2 out of 3 for the UGM8-SEC Vegito counterplay, alright there's ideas to make this work. One thing to sadly note is that the core, especially if you want Super Vegeta to hit hard, is not compact. 3 Cards + 1 to make Super Vegeta not be in a co-op AND tools to make sure that Gogeta (BR) goes first to make it all work, if having a HA and wanting a way to make Super Vegeta a lone attacker, you have 2 slots of tech left but it might not be completely hopeless since that slot to support Vegeta isn't completly inflexible.

The Mandatory Core
Card | Why |
---|---|
MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR) | So first we begin with this card, how we're enabling Super Vegeta's defense in the first place. By winning the PLBP he sets the enemy's PWR to 1 and disables fixed DMG, feeding into Super Vegeta. He also comes with the utility of stunning someone if the enemy has 50%+ HP with his summon, disabling the enemy's GRD/DMG reduction if he wins his CI, and having a very high GRD to act as bait for UGM8-SEC Vegito. The only issues with the card for the deck is that he's a HR, meaning that you do need to have a separate card to separate him from Super Vegeta if you want to use the 4x PWR/DMG he offers. |
MM3-016 Vegeta | If he has higher PWR than the enemy attackers, he gets 50% DMG reduction, a free super attack, and 2 HE. Surprisingly nice batch of benefits since the deck can have issues with HE somewhat depending on how you handle the speed aspect of the deck. He can also hit really hard with 4x PWR/DMG for the round if not in a co-op group, especially if you give him some extra PWR to scale really hard with. |
BM6-062 Robel | This is to help with the defense of the deck, on one hand you have the enemy's PWR set to 1 with no fixed DMG, and on the other hand their Vegito and Chilled isn't doing much since of Vegeta's middle of the road GRD, and then you have the 50% DMG reduction him, seems pretty nice when all is coming together. Oh, he also gets some extra GRD when retargeted by Robel going into 5k/50% DMG reduction, the main thing to note is that he can be stunned. |
So this pretty much has Vegeta acting as a DMG reduction focused version of UM12-SEC4 Gogeta (UM), needing an extra card to work but at the same point also having the utility of not needing 3 other cards fulfilling the base PWR requirements, you only need the uncoupling card for Vegeta if you want his DMG, which you may not need depending on what you use instead. MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) is one fucking hell of a card after all and that is one thing the deck could face, if the Chilled cores leave UGM8-SEC Fusions for others, or supplement them which has been something I've seen, while MM3-052 isn't common, MM3-SEC3 is and without GRD generation you do lack the stats to live, of course a UGM2-064 Gohan (SH) + PIccolo (SH) are good cards in of their own but don't help with the speed the deck wants, which is probably the one issue the deck has, slots. This 3 card core is more like a 4-5 card core since you want a card to guarantee Gogeta (BR) goes off and an extra one to make Vegeta not have co-op attacks.
Warning: HR Kai HA Use Case
Card | Why |
---|---|
BM3-059 Vegeta | Speed, when a supporter he links to an ally giving them 10k PWR and PWR LV per bar of STA he has, up to 30k. This can help with R1 against most decks barring HGD9 Future Trunks, does great into MM1-066 Ozotto. For the deck this will be 30k R1. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) | Make sure he's registered before Vegeta but he's here to abuse the 30k Vegeta gives alongside general speed for the team to help with some extra PWR LV even if it's not that much. The transformation doesn't matter, what is that he gives 1k (x) PWR for your entire team and reduces enemy GRD by 500 (x), where X is round number, per 1k PWR LV. R1 we're getting Great Priest PWR at minimum alongside annihilation of all GRD, R2 we're getting 60k PWR at minimum and so on and so forth. Disgustingly beautiful, majestic lizard of death. |
Godbird / HE generation / Speed control | Your semi-flex slot, either to help guarantee to win the PLBP against Future Trunks R1 with UM8-047 Fin as used here, a godbird, which we'll get to in more detail later their utility, or even HE generation since the deck isn't inherently that fast. Personal favorite for that slot is UGM6-SEC Gogeta (Xeno) since he's more fixed PWR LV and has enough GRD to let Vegeta not be hit by Vegito, this slot depends on what you want his role to be, either abusing his DMG or focusing more as a defensive pivot. Other cards for the former 2 categories include MM1-066 Majin Ozotto, HGD9-44 Future Trunks, and possibly a UGM2 Gohan (SH)/UGM9 Future Warrior in Black core, both with nice utilities as a way to further boost Vegeta's GRD even if needing an extra card to work, Gohan (SH) is the only one listed here that doesn't have enough GRD himself to shield Super Vegeta from the might of UGM8-SEC and can help against MM3-SEC3 Frieza if you're afraid of him proccing chilled. |
HR HA Kai | Now is the one time I get to be upset at SDBH designers and its not Goku related. When in the support area, you generate around a bar of STA, this is the normal rate, UM1 Gogeta (GT) and BM3-059 Vegeta get to join the exclusive club where this is not the case, and no ability tells you otherwise, unlike with Brainwashed Brutality on some Spopovich/Yamu/Pui-Pui cards, these two get reduced STA generation as a supporter with no warning. For the former, it means nothing because its a hardcoded thing for R1 exactly, R2 onward he has normal STA generation as a supporter, meanwhile BM3-059 Vegeta at least has a balancing thing. Pretty much the card won't get 2 bars of STA R1 when a supporter so you can't get 20k PWR LV from him on R1 that easily, hence why we're using this HA as to make sure that's the case alongside the other utilities of the Kai HA. When a supporter you get some STA and increase enemy CI speed, this is actually enough to fulfill BM3 Vegeta on his own. If you want to lean to this card being a supporter R1 all the time, than you could change to a BS Kai HA but than you'd have an issue against UGM8-SEC Vegito R1 since the STA generation/CI disruption is on good timing for Vegeta, and you get some extra PWR LV for free HE and Frieza (Revived) procs. |
So this is a bit more utilizing the raw might of Frieza (Revived) and Gogeta (BR) than Vegeta with Fin being there but Frieza's dumb and Gogeta (BR) will help you not immediately die and with Fin, he can be flexible for a variety of cards. Overall a neat little deck that gets to make use of Frieza (Revived) and Super Vegeta, who probably appreciates the PWR. Something to note is that Vegeta is moderate speed, he 30k is really good R1, R2 he can have a bit of an issue if against Chilled + Frieza but fine against Chilled on his own, R3 you do lose if Chilled has company and run into issues against Chilled on his own but that's where the speed control can come in, MM1-066 Majin Ozotto does limit your Frieza procs but does put Chilled back a turn in PWR LV alongside the rest of the team. If you want to explore that, UGM4-SEC Vegito is also an option, BM3-069 Salsa permanently disables enemy PWR LV/DMG multiplication and lowers their STA at the start of R2, adding to the defense profile of the deck by sealing off another avenue of DMG.
Piccolo Exploration
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM4-CP4 Piccolo | When a supporter he makes where all that share his battle type, HR with this card, can't do co-op attacks but have their CI speed reset. This allows your Super Vegeta to attack on his own, getting 4x PWR/DMG for the round, while also having the option to be an attacker giving you 1k PWR/GRD for the attackers per enemy attacker, meaning he can counteract MM3-SEC3 Frieza as long as you can match, or have less than, the enemy attackers. The unit is also of note, for 4 HE it sets the enemy's PWR LV to 10%, meaning its much easier to win the PLBP and with Super Vegeta giving 2 for free, it's really nice. The best way to use it might depend on the enemy's team, maybe you can get away with it as a supporter to let more chances of Super Vegeta's meaty Final Flash but if against MM3-SEC3 Frieza you have him as an attacker until the final push where Vegeta's DMG boost outclasses Piccolo being there. |
UGM4-SEC Vegito | This is flexible, while referencing UGM4-SEC here because of his everything, halving enemy PWR LV/DMG multiplication alongside a 6x PWR/PWR LV death button is pretty good, so I've heard, there's others. BM4-SEC's stat generation alongside 30% DMG reduction could come in handly, the former has it where your attackers get 5k GRD if you have more than the enemy but 10k PWR if less attackers than them, and then your team gains 30% DMG reduction for the round if you have less HE than the enemy, all in the PLBP so you can have him activate before Vegeta to get the best of both worlds, the Super Slash also disables the enemy's GRD/DMG reduction making Godku look bad if you find him in the wild. BM6-021 gives your team 2 bars of STA and 2x PWR/GRD at the end of the round if you've won 4+ CIs that round, which can be made easier with UGM4-CP4 Piccolo making you have more CIs in a round as this is a HR, his dragon fist is also part Godku tech since its 10k PWR and DMG reduction pierce. BM6-SEC2 is more directly in that anti-Godku role with his summon, being able to disable the enemy's GRD/DMG reduction if the enemy's above 50% HP on R2, though his abilities do cover the same ground as MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR) but worse, 5k GRD for the team and halving enemy fixed DMG, and on attack he gains 10k PWR and deals critical STA DMG. UGM8-SEC Vegito can be a unit member before switching into Gogeta (Xeno) when facing down ABS-23 Vegito (Candy), not that is not a valid unit member as Vegito (Candy) is a different character than Vegito. PUMS14-02 makes the enemy deal half DMG and has a strong god meteor if you have strong enough stuns with your Gotenks or apps. BMPJ-31 has Feint and 2x PWR LV + Full STA generation for himself on R2, in case you're afraid of really fast R1s from the enemy. ABS-18 makes your team hit much harder with 4x PWR and some slight r1 STA generation, ABS-25 can act as a fast Robel target, having 70% DMG reduction alongside 3x own PWR/GRD and 5k PWR LV every round, having him as the main target with Super Vegeta as a really solid secondary Robel target when the enemy doesn't have UGM8-SEC Vegito. For the deck, the main ones to consider for me are ABS-25 and UGM4-SEC since they help with the speed of the deck, ABS-25 will be on par with UGM4-SEC on R3 and be faster than them on R1 but slower than R2, and with less DMG and HE destruction behind it but the GRD can be useful. |
ABS-31 Gotenks | This here is also a bit of a flex spot, there's four main Gotenks of consideration. UGM9-SEC2, Gotenks himself is huge STA generation when you win the PLBP alongside free HE while having the option of being Vegito for a final push with fixed DMG and making CI hell for the opponent. UGM9-020 is a permanent 20k fixed PWR LV that generates HE, and also disables the GRD and lowers the DMG dealt by the enemy with the fastest CI. MM1-071 lowers enemy STA at the start of every round, helping you win the PLBP through disruption as it increases the less HP the enemy has, and ABS-31 is welcome no matter what it rolls, 2 HE is nice for early units, STA generation for our own speed, and then 15k PWR/GRD for the team is fucking nuts, and then he comes with a revive dragon fist EX just in case everything else wasn't enough for defense but comes with the caveat he is random for everything but the revive. For the sake of the deck I went with ABS-31 but UGM9-020 was also really considered as well. |
EL Android HA | This depends on what you selected but I figured some reliable STA generation would be nice, the opponent will be tripping on this otherwise they'll be dealing no DMG because of MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR). |
So while this lacks the true flex slots of more generically powerful cards, the unit from Piccolo is still pretty letting you win the PLBP for a round when you need too and with Vegeta, it's not that hard to get to for R2 or R3 and Gotenks/Vegito are far from bad unit members, just that we can't use MM3-SEC Vegeta or something equally as dumb and sort of resign our fate at times. With the disabling co-op angle, we kind of have a tech against BM7-SEC natively just by having that many attacks, and then there's various Vegitos that can be used to help us with Godku if you fear him, defensively you should be fine as long as you can proc Gogeta (BR) which can be a bit of an ask for this build of the deck, especially since it relies on Gotenks a bit but if you want you could replace Gotenks for a different card and forgo the unit for more insurance towards going first. The HA itself could also be replaced for a card more specialized towards speed, whether you wanted to go for UGM8 Chilled + MM3-SEC3 Frieza, a pair of stun cards, MM3-SEC Vegeta.
Godbird Example
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM5-063 Aeos | She's mostly here for her seals, particularly the TAA seal R2 but the CAA seal on R1 gives nice benefits like halting the terror of MM3-SEC Vegeta and UGM10-SEC Goku. The god meteor is also nice contingency in case you're stuck against some rough stuns. This all said it's primarily for being the best TAA seal you can get, there are some TAA seal units that could be explored but the unit members never lined up that well for the deck UGM8-050 Yamcha had both Vegeta and Goku, latter who has godbirds, but the ability is random action ability seals for both team every round, very volatile and not my preferred way to really build around and prone to having games where he just does nothing. BM9-022 Adult Gohan could've been our BM7-SEC Goku answer but Piccolo doesn't really help us, at least not in relation to godbirds, or help with utility that much? PBBS11-12 Cell was considered as well, we are using his unit members, the ability lets him act as a surrogate Super Vegeta if we need to for Robel or do some damage when under a Hellfire effect. This is also very flexible if you don't fear block bursts, the main cards nowadays I see use it are the promo Vegeta with Outstrategize and the promo Goku with the same, both are niche. BM7-SEC Goku, who seems to have gone into hiding or is just in the losses most people don't upload, and then there's MM3 Pikkon, who I've seen a few times but still niche in terms of usage from what I can tell, if these and others don't exist, you could be greedy and swap this out with another card based on your needs. |
UGM6-058 Super Hearts | Our godbird of choice with a neat little unit, 1 HE for 10k fixed PWR LV is pretty nice with MM3 Frieza (Revived), representing 10 procs for 1 HE even if that 10k doesn't help with HE generation. Also easy win against MM1-066 Majin Ozotto for 1 HE. So the big thing for godbirds, alongside making it easier to get perfects on the linked ally's attack CI for the round, it also makes them unable to participate in co-op attacks, meaning Super Vegeta gets to do the big damage. |
UGM10-023 Goku | Speed, with the rest of the deck I want to have some level of absurd speed and this is one that came to mind, also has the benefit of hitting really hard, is a flexible slot though. UGM2-052 is nice STA generation, BM11-017 is STA and CI disruption, if you want to add in a HR Goku (Xeno), BM11-SEC2 was very considered here, there are Goku (Xeno) with a godbird and this Goku's 3x PWR LV each round and extra STA generation to the 3, at minimum, HR cards including himself, R1 you'll be slower than Chilled + Frieza but R2 onward you'll smoke them out of the water. BM11-SEC3 stuns the enemy's PWR LV R1 while starting out with promising damage. MM3-SEC counts as a Goku for units R3 if you want a possible BM7-SEC Goku answer or just some extra fixed PWR LV alongside the 4x PWR LV, note we are using a supporter so he might not be as reliable as you'd like. Among many, many others, it's Goku. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) | Look, I get it was used earlier but god dammit imagine generating 30 titiliion PWR and than quadrupling that with an easy to win Godbird CI? Also free STA generation is really nice with UGM10-023 Goku, letting us make more use of his 4x PWR LV on R1. |
So yeah, this deck is kind of similar as before but focusing on PWR LV multiplication and a godbird instead of fixed PWR LV. This can allow Vegeta to hit much harder but might have some issues winning the PLBP against R1 stun options like UM8 Fin or HGD9 Future Trunks. If you can get a HE than Hearts' unit can come in clutch for R2 especially against Majin Ozotto, Vegeta does represent 2 HE if you can activate him. The godbird will also help him further his DMG by making winning his CI much easier. Overall the deck is playing a bit more risky to hopefully have a higher pay-off. For other godbirds of note, they're listed below.
GT Got a Switch Change
So this is less a proper deck and more cards to consider when thinking about the card, there doesn't seem to be any deck ideas screaming out to me but there are some cards to consider with them, they are pretty solid cards. I doubt they'll redefine the meta but at the same point are really cool and have a good breadth of synergies but before going further, a brief description.
Who | What |
---|---|
Starts the game as Goku (GT) | When an attacker, fully recover the STA of 4 allies with low STA and during the PLBP, restore the GRD of all ally attackers whose GRD is less than the intial value. |
Vegeta (GT) | When an attacker, if there's 5+ enemies on the enemy team, seal the super attacks for 4 of the enemies with the highest PWR. In the PLBP, reset the DMG multiplication of all enemy attackers with greater than normal DMG multiplication. |
Cards for Goku (GT) | Cards for Vegeta (GT) |
---|---|
BM1-SEC3 Beerus he gains 3k PWR/GRD per enemy attacker that can't use their super attack, with just Vegeta he's guaranteed to get 12k at a minimum or the enemy has less than 4 attackers, of which is a good thing in of itself. This can be really useful for Robel strategies while not needing to build around huge HE destruction like BM11-ASEC2 Goku or UGM4-SEC Vegito, could still be preferred to do so for some decks but this is just another option. | |
Retargeting (Various) For cards that can be stunned, like UGM10-SEC Goku, BM10-SEC2 Masked Black, and more, Goku (GT) also covers STA for them in a way to make stunning them difficult while not needing a Goku on the team for UGM9-059 Warrior in Black. | UGM8-058 Cell If you have strong enough punishes for attackers, forcing supporters on top of what they may natively be using, this can fulfill Cell's requirements of no enemy attackers that can use a super attack to disable their summons, as rare as that may be, can be useful against BM12-LSEC Gogeta (BM) if going on a MM3-SEC2 Omega Shenron deck, he doesn't heal in the presence of Goku/Goku (GT), he's fine with Gogeta (GT)/Vegeta (GT). |
BS Aggro This is a very welcome boost to STA generation for the deck with some utility if you are on a more defensive bend, as much as I love UGM5-SEC Orange Piccolo (SH) and UM10-039 Goku (GT), they're not the most STA generation and this is a good bit more of that but as a HR in case you wanted to use MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR). | UGM3-034 Goku Jr. and UGM3-035 Vegeta Jr. These seal CAAs/TAAs respectively if a card can't use their super attack, which he does for four. Admittedly too slow to stop transformations since the two do the seals in the PLBP but can be useful against various ther hard-hitting CAAs like those from an Android HA or SS4LB Note. Vegeta Jr. can seal Block Bursts but that'd require support beyond Vegeta (GT) since he only hits enemy attackers, not supporters. |
As a unit member This is more reliable than UM9-SEC Goku (GT) for STA generation which can be useful if you want to have the Trunks (GT)/Pan cards feed other cards instead of feeding an offensive Goku (GT) just be warned that if you want to lean for Vegeta (GT)'s defense, you will be losing unit access for that next round (Vegeta (GT) on R2 means no units for R3). | MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR) most cards that handle enemy DMG multiplication do so as a supporter, Vegeta (GT) is an exception and more reliable than UM11-SEC3 Godslayer Hearts since he only did it to those with less than 10k PWR, requiring further support, and also did it regardless of the DMG multiplication state itself, Vegeta (GT) doesn't undo a Hellfire effect for example like Hearts would. Being an attacker is important since it means that he represents more PWR LV for Gogeta (BR) to win the PLBP with, also if its not needed, you can switch to Goku (GT) for a nice boost to STA generation. |
