Setting
This endless world has no planets, stars, moon, or sun, but is covered with endless veins of life. Their shining and fading replaces day and night for everyone. The whole world is made up of energy, the interaction of which creates objects. This place is a fantasy with a touch of steampunk, and then there's the medieval influence. There's no technology, but some parts of the world have steam-powered vehicles. There's no Jesus or Buddhism here. In this world, instead of Buddha there was Satoshi Akarui. The story takes place in a fictional ancient Japan called the Miyako Empire. And the city characters live in is the capital of Miyako - Edo. It's around 800 year now. In this world, the most common eye color is green.
Plot
Before
I can't come up with why Ritsuko has her ability, but I want to make a really unexpected turn. Maybe she ate some psychedelics who gave her knowledge and power.
9 yo Suzuki Kaoru met Ritsuko. Since he was kind, he wanted to share her pain. That's why Ritsuko gave him ability - simply froze him.
When Kaoru gained his ability, he had the ability to inflict mental pain on others. However, this also affected him.
He then met Himawari, who begged him for this ability. So Kaoru gave it to her. After this, he lost his ability to suffer, and his personality began to change.
However, Himawari's ability was different - to numb the mind. Her victims become completely paralyzed, losing the ability to perceive reality.
Himawari gave the ability to Midori, and Midori gave it to Amai.

Patroller in the Edo, who gave ability to her childhood friend Kaoru. She's Host 0. Her ability - freeze anything (not included in the card).
SPOILER WARNING: The real cause of her pain - her past reincarnation. Ritsuko was in love with her own little brother, who mistreated her.
In the end, he executed her when she confessed her pregnancy. That's why deep down Ritsuko fears and loves Kaoru.
Her name in the previous reincarnation was Enzo. In the story, Ritsuko turns into her, remembering everything.
