Hi, I'm Rue! I'm the #2 fan of Her Love, Like Poison!
Umm to be frank I'm not too sure of what to put on this URL, but I'm bored of copypasting the same info about me over and over again, so I guess I'll talk about Her Love, Like Poison and my experience playing it. It's only right!
SPOILERS AHEAD! (obviously)
I first heard about HLLP through my mutual's Instagram, where they had shared a promotion of the game from Twitter .. It intrigued me greatly because whilst I consider myself a fan of the toxic yuri franchise I don't actually like to read manhuas/manhwas/mangas all that much (and also I dislike the cheating + sexual assault tropes Why is it always rape rape rape with you guys and never bullying trauma destructive emotional codependency) so HLLP was quite promising to me. Whilst I did quickly figure out the story of the entire game (The Girl is actually a fungi hivemind puppeteering the body of the young girl that they consumed 3 years ago and is the cause of the disappearances of many other young girls in Oxbury. Then she [or well.. they,] consumes Edith in a twisted claim of love so they can take her body over as their new host as well as assimilate her into their subconscious hivemind.)
from Ebi's social media posts promoting it, it didn't put me off too much- In fact, I was excited to see the delivery of it!
A few months later, I was gifted the game by my dearest friend! However, I never got around to playing it until around mid-May 2026! I'll pick up on this later I am tiiiiredd, thanks! Work in progess ^_^
