Haruki has received the demo for her new solo and is having some doubts about her ability to perform. Producer starts to reassure her, saying that even the trainer thinks she’s fine and that there’s nothing to worry about. Everything has been running smoothly and all she has left to do is the recording and a mini-live for the song’s debut performance. Haruki retains that she’s only been presenting the CoMETIK’s Haruki so far, but Producer says this solo is a good fit for her. She relents a bit and the scene changes.
Haruki is sitting in on a guest lecturer’s presentation at school; the visiting artist is finishing up his talk about how he felt detached from his art and needed to have a dialogue with his own heart in order to bridge the gap. After concluding, the room switches to a Q&A session. Haruki raises her hand and begins to explain how those around her praise her work yet she doesn’t feel satisfied with what she’s done. The lecturer asserts that those feelings occur to him constantly and that he simply has to keep on moving and push as far as you wish (so long as time allows it). As Haruki and her contemporaries are still students, it’s important for them to pursue that fulfillment as they have the time to grow and use the experience.
Later on, Haruki returns to Producer and is told that she’s got a break in her schedule coming up. Haruki is happy and tells P she’s going to head back to her hometown during that time. She explains that, despite the reassurance, she’s still feeling doubtful about how she’ll end up performing as she’s missing the feelings needed to convey the necessary strengths of the song. Going home may not prove useful in the end, but Haruki hopes that stepping away from her usual sceneries may help jog her noggin and set her on the right path.

Back in her hometown, Haruki’s bumbling around hoping for something to catch her attention. She heads to a rest stop where an employee recognizes her and asks her about why she’s back all of a sudden. After chatting a bit, the clerk points out Haruki’s got her sketchbook with her, something Haruki says is more like a lucky charm in hopes she finds something that inspires her to start drawing. Haruki begins to look over the lyrics to her solo as she gets a message from Producer thanking her for the nice photos of her hometown. The two go back and forth with Producer telling her not to overexert herself since she’s still looking for the answer she set out to find. Haruki claims she isn’t feeling overexerted, but she still doesn’t feel up to par. Producer, still at the office, gets up and grabs his car keys, deciding to go check on Haruki in person.
After stopping home to eat some of her mother’s curry, Haruki heads outside and starts to run off towards a certain area. In Producer’s car, the radio forecast mentions a meteor shower will be visible in some areas. Haruki continues to run farther and farther, determined to reach what she’s looking for.

TRUE END - conjunction

Haruki, having reached her destination, gets a call from Producer. He explains his worries and she responds that she went out to the observatory area to see the stars. As they continue talking, Haruki says she remembered this place after wandering around town all day and decided she wished to see those far, far away stars after finding nothing in her travels. She’s enamored by the celestial fixtures, commenting on how they’re all different colors as they flicker on and off. She starts to feel okay with not reaching a conclusive answer to her problems and the meteor shower begins above her.

Haruki wishes the stars would come down onto her sketchbook and is feeling much better now. Having caught up to her, Producer is glad to see her content and the two head back together.
Later on, Haruki goes to perform her solo’s debut at the scheduled mini-live. She begins to tell the crowd about her struggles in coming to terms with her performance and the show goes on without a hitch. Producer congratulates her on the successful show afterwards and they talk about it for a moment. Haruki says she doesn’t usually talk about behind-the-scenes details like that, but it felt important for this song so it was worth bringing those things up. Whether or not she can retain the feeling needed for her solo, that starry sky she witnessed is now ingrained in her memory and meshed together with that song. No matter what, the song will always remind her of that night and she hopes that perhaps even the audience will have the same experience. Whether that night never ended or if things would have never continued past that night, it was a perfect moment for Haruki.
