Killua frequently mentions that his only goal in life is to stay by Gon's side Gon endures hours of severe injury from Canary just to get closer to seeing Killua Killua gives Gon the "rainbow diamond" card, which is said to have a 100% success rate with marriage proposals Gon says "Killua ja nakya dame nan da" which holds heavy implications in Japanese equivalent to saying "Killua is the only one for me!" serving as a confession of his feelings Killua compares gon to the light, saying looking at him overcomes him with so much emotion that he has to look away Gon's only plan for what he wants to do upon meeting his father who he hasn't seen in over a decade is to introduce him to Killua, because he is important to him Palm directly addresses Killua when saying "Love can come out of nowhere" to which he gets flustered Palm dyed her hair silver white in the manga to look more beautiful to Gon, to which he immediately remarks how pretty she looks Killua is crushed by a mental rock when Gon tells him that he's gone on dates before In an episode preview, Gon tells Killua "In my next life, I want to be me, and meet you again" Killua says he doesn't have time for dates because he wants to stay with Gon Gon tells Killua "You can peak in my binder anytime you want" while they both blush at each other Killua is jealous of the romantic date between Gon and Palm to the point where he stalks him Gon and Killua both frequently parallel canon lovers, such as Meruem and Komugi (Including the two lovers Togashi previously wrote about) Killua recalls all the happy memories he's spent with Gon when overcoming his deepest fears and trauma in order to protect Gon Togashi was inspired by two of his previous characters which are a couple when he wrote Killua and Gon Palm admits to Killua that he is the most important person in Gon's life The phrase "I wanna be your lover" is mentioned hinting at Killua and Gon in the 1999 anime opening The second 1999 anime outro is titled "Do you feel the same way I feel?" to which the entire outro heavily features contact between Killua and Gon plus Kurapika and Leorio Gon's only plan for what he wants to do upon meeting his father who he hasn't seen in over a decade is to introduce him to Killua, because he is important to him Ikalgo, when saying they were all ready to die by Gon's side, singles out Killua's "Shinju" phrasing, putting Killua's devotion to Gon above that of all of Gon'a other friends In one of the Hunterpedias, there is an umbrella with both Gon and Killua's names under it which is called 'Ai-Ai Gasa' which literally means 'Love-Love umbrella' which is said that Japanese sweethearts draw this as an expression of their love and the characters underneath the umbrella can be translated to 'Gon' and 'Killua' Killua has been on the brink of death multiple times due to his strong desire and dedication to protect and keep Gon safe The creator of Bloom Into You (Yuri) and their characters were slightly inspired by Killua and Gon's relationship Killua says that he wants him and Gon to commit "Shinju" which is strictly a term used only in a context that is romantic that translates to 'Lovers Suicide' which can show how both Komugi and Meruem died Gon mentions that Killua is the only person he can rely on and that it can only be him Killua kisses Gon in one of the Hunterpedias Gon tries to kiss Killua back in the same Hunterpedia of the aforementioned In the Phantom Rouge, Killua felt like he betrayed Gon and attempted to commit by jumping in front of a train to which he was stopped by Gon Togashi is known to have an interest in writing queer characters In an interview, Killua's Japanese voice actor was asked if Killua is in love with Gon to which she responded that 'of course he's in love with him' That one scene in the Phantom Rouge where Killua gets caught by Gon who he was staring at while he was sound asleep Nanika's powers represent humanities selfishness to which being used by Killua selflessly to save Gon In another hunterpedia, a blushing Gon said that Nen users are fated to meet Nen teachers, and a blushing Killua said that is what happened in their case before holding hands and pulling each other close while saying in sync "fate had a hand in crossing our paths" The phrases "I want to protect you" and "I don't want to lose you" Killua thinks to himself while being attacked by a chimera ant Gon is a Taurus and Killua is a cancer to which is said that both signs are highly compatible with each other, almost like soulmates and the traits heavily describe their relationship Gon is the person Killua loves most in the world according to Hisoka "The most beloved and the longest time spent together... Either way Gon dies" and Illumi who states that if Killua attempted to bear the brunt of the concequences for a wish to Nanika, him and Gon would always die together, because Killua loves Gon more than anyone in the world (after only giving examples of lovers dying together) Killugon was originally supposed to be canon but got censored (1999 op/outros show) due to Togashis editors not being on board with making them canon Killua's birthday falls on the same day as the festival of Tanabata (7/7) which celebrates the myth of star crossed lovers The myth in question is about a princess lamenting to her father that she is too busy with work to find a lover and when her father releases her who was expecting her to be unsuccessful and return home to continue the family work, she instead meets a man who she falls madly in love with and promptly marries, to never return home According to Hisoka's way of telling a nen user's nen type is based on personality to which he tells gon "We have a good compatibility. Complementary due to opposite characteristics" Hisoka is a Transmuter and Gon is an Enhancer while Killua is also Transmuter Hisoka is the one who makes us understand the true feelings between Gon and Killua, he mentions that Gon is the most important person to Killua and how compatible they are including how he brings them to the city of love in the Greed Island arc In the 2011 anime, there is a scene where both Killua and Gon eat at a restaurant and there is a dessert in between them that has the word 'love' on it Several openings and outros where Killua and Gon are seen have a romantic theme Togashi's comment for chapter 94 where Killua kept blushing at Gon "The two hamsters are suspiciously close. They often kiss (or look like it) each other, although they're both male.." In the Light novel, Gon openly admits to Canary that he loves Killua "Killua no koto suki nan da ne. Ore mo daisuki dakedo" (You love Killua, don't you? I love him very much too.) Meleoron's words after Shinju: "There's something you won't tell me, right?" "So I won't ask you." To what he said in Japanese can be translated to "There's something you CAN'T tell me..."
So here Meleoron points out that there is SOMETHING Killua can't tell him, something that Killua is unable to tell him, something that is impossible for Killua to talk about
In volume 3 of the Light novel, Gon states that he wants to stay with Killua forever by holding his hand (We know that Killua also wanted to stay with Gon forever in the anime and manga) and they want to live their lives together! There's some added dialogue here, like Gon and Killua arguing over who's going to be taking care of who, and Gon then grabbing Killua's hand, saying "I won't let you go anymore. We'll be together forever!" Gon, you are light. Sometimes you shine so brightly I must look away. But even so, is it still okay if I stay at your side?
