before saying "free palestine", here are some things about Israel you should know first
 
humanitarian aid  Jews are indigenous to the land of Israel. Jewish history in Israel goes back thousands of years. Jewish kingdoms existed there long before Christianity or Islam, and Jews maintained a presence throughout centuries of exile.
There was no sovereign country called Palestine that Israel invaded in 1948. Before Israel, the land was governed by Britain, and before that, by Ottoman Empire. Arabs, Jews, Christians and other communities lived there, but there was no independent Palestinian state that Israel conquered.
the UN proposed two states in 1947. One Jewish. One Arab. Jewish leaders accepted the plan. Arab leaders rejected it. After Israel declared independence, neighboring Arab armies invaded, but Israel survived.
Israel was built as a refuge for Jews with nowhere else to go. During and after Israel's founding hundreds of thousands of Jews fled or were expelled from Arab and Muslim-majority countries, leaving behind homes, businesses and communities. Israel took them in, gave them citizenship, and helped them rebuild their lives.
About 20% of Israelis are Arab.
Arab Israelis are EQUAL citizens. They vote, serve in parliament, become doctors and judges, attend universities and participate throughout Israeli society. Israel is a Jewish state. That does not mean only Jews live there.
Israel has given up land for peace. Israel returned the entire Sinai Peninsula to Egypt after their peace agreement. In 2005, Israel also withdrew its soldiers and settlements from Gaza. Israel has repeatedly demonstrated that when territory can lead to peace, they give it up.
Palestinians have been offered pathways towards statehood more than once. From the 1947 UN Partition Plan, to the 2000 Camp David negotiations and Clinton Parameters, to Ehud Olmert's 2008 proposal, Palestinians leaders have had multiple opportunities to pursue a state alongside Israel.
So what does it mean to "Free Palestine?"
By saying "from the river to the sea," understand what you're demanding: The end of the world's only Jewish state, in the Jewish people's ancestral homeland.
There are 50 Muslim countries and only 1 Jewish state.
