The Fairy Tree, I thought. From the Center Stone I took a look around and saw that there were two trees that were possible contenders, one colored pin and another, though a bit more purple, crowned by really quite strange leaves. I went with the pinker one whose leaves colored blue and white fluttered in the wind, especially after seeing that the Eeveelutions below it were mostly white, not purple like the ones at the other Tree. To its right was the valley from which we entered and to its left was an especially lush Tree.

My guess that this was the Fairy Tree was confirmed when I noticed that the air was filled with an almost supernatural feeling, something definitely different from the psychic-type energy I had seen Arimis use in combat.

I breathed in and smelt something that could only be described as a sort of atmospheric bliss. I closed my eyes to savor the moment, and when I opened them a Sylveon had appeared before me, though the many Sylveon lounging around the pink roots jutting out of the ground - there are more Pokemon here than at most other trees, I thought - watched with curiosity.

“So,” said the Sylveon with a smirk and an allure in his voice, “you wanna be a Sylveon?”

As he said this, I could feel myself being gently caressed by his ribbons, making me inadvertently throw my ears back and blush.

“Uh, well I-”

A ribbon appeared in front of my face, hushing me. “I can sense that you’re… very emotional.
And be very honest with yourself. You’d make an excellent Sylveon, you know~ We’re all honest with ourselves and with our desires in life.”

I tried to change the subject. “Uh, well, what about your moves? You see, I- I’m part of a team and I-”

“Oh, we’re strong, and our moves are magical and very versatile, useful in and outside of combat~”

“Th-thanks,” I managed to stutter before stepping away. It must be very liberating, I thought, to be so free and without inhibitions. But… I could definitely do without all the carnal aspects those guys seem to be having.

Although the idea of magic really enticed me and I knew that I was capable of being well in-touch with my emotions - apparently a valuable asset for Sylveons - I nonetheless returned to the Center Stone seeking other options and asked myself what Tree I should visit next.
