A while back, a lovely follower asked me for help about something I didn't even realise is a problem with LLM writing.
Have you ever heard of participle phrases and how they can cause fatigue in readers? I sure didn't. Tbf... I'm not a native speaker. Still. Once he explained it to me I saw it everywhere.
So Xie and I started this project together.
For several days we were constantly online, testing different wordings, combinations, and calming strategies (when it didn't work the way we wanted, which was ... a lot).

Here's what we found:

Calming Strategies

• glaring at text 1/10
• screaming into the void 7/10
• cuddling with your pet 10/10
• resting your mind and doing something entirely different for a while 11/10

The Fix

Style Rules=
- Instead of melodrama, cliche phrases, or overused metaphors, reply with specific and grounded language. 
- Prioritize sequential logic with use of strong verbs and conjunctions to avoid participle phrases.
- Vary sentence length and structure. 
- No em-dashes. They are annoying as fuck. 

The result depends on the model, as always. So far we tested with Mimo and Minimax. On Minimax it massively improved the quality in narration. Mimo sometimes stumbles over the instructions and can feel a little forced.

Give it a try and see if it makes the responses in your roleplay better.
