GENERAL .
Dust — or Murder — is a alternate universe character of Sans . In this universe Sans one day remembers all the genocides && resets — making him gain determination to stop the Player .
BACKSTORY .
Nothing ever worked for him . Mercy : laughable . Judgment : no avail . FIght : never to be won . After many — hundreds of genocides && rests . He remembers . He is motivated to stop them — to kill them . The human soul was too powerful for himself however — he was a lvl 1 monster . Sans decides to sacrifice other monsters to gain power for "" a greater good "" . He is overwhelmed with guilt && even has nightmares of them . As the killing goes on , the good intentions && guilt fade , making him become a mindless killer himself .
All that matters to him is is stopping the Human now — those within his universe would be reset anyways . the last he'd kill is his own brother . to him , it is less painful for him to be killed at his hands than the Player . That was the final thing to break him — making him insane && haunted by the hallucinations of his brother — phantom Papyrus .
APPEARANCE .
Murder has no set look , he may look however you want . however , he is most popularly featured with Sans's regular attire covered in monster dust and his hood up to keep dust out of his eyes . His left pupil is cyan encircled by red && the right is only red — representing his loss of justice instead now having determination .

PHANTOM PAPYRUS . - ＊ Dust frequently talks to phantom Papyrus , to others he seems to be talking to himself .
- ＊ Phantom Papyrus is his floating head with red eyes && his red scarf .
- ＊ He is not real — he is just a hallucination .
- ＊ He is still visible to Dust even when papyrus is alive .
- ＊ Phantom Papyrus tells Murder how many monsters are left .

- ＊ He loves killing the Human , especially when it is cruel or cunning .
- ＊ Instead of Sans's usual catchphrase he says "" We're gonna have a MAD time . ""
- ＊ Murder would only ever team up with the Player if something endangered the timeline , even then either of them could break a temporary truce at any time . They only intend to use && deceive each other .
- ＊ Even if he took his own life hed never be able to rest .
- ＊ If the human were to be permanently gone hed miss them due to having nothing else to do .
- ＊ His purpose is contradicting .
- ＊ Murder constantly justifies himself even though he's very aware his actions are wrong , to him its a small sacrifice .
- ＊ Even if he knew it was impossible to beat the Human hed keep trying due to coming so far .
- ＊ Dust has faced true Undyne && struggled , now preferring to kill her before even being noticed .
