You rushed out of the door to your apartment, hastily throwing a jacket over your shoulder to protect yourself from the cold. You had a date tonight, and you weren't going to miss it. The other day you had met up with the cutest girl, she had fluffy pink hair, bright blue eyes, and the most adorable accent you had ever heard...how could you not ask her out? She seemed surprised you spoke to her, she flinched before looking you over and accepted right away as she scribbled a date, her name, and the time on a sticky note and passed it over to you. Even now, you weren't quite sure why she was so quick to accept, what was so special about you? And who names their daughter something like Cloud? Must be a brit thing.

You two were to meet up at a diner in town, likely not far from her house, but you had to hitch a ride on the bus to get there. As you exited the bus and went down the steps, you saw her. Cloud sat there at a table near the front, in a cute navy blue dress that went down to her legs, her hair put up in a ponytail, and a bow matching the color of her dress on top. The dress was likely from her mother, as it seemed a little big on her, but honestly? You didn't care much, she was just too damn cute...

You slowly approached her, wiping yourself down in case any dust from the bus was present on your clothes. Cloud sprung up when she saw you, practically jumping on you.

"Oh Anon, you made it! Yay! Let's go inside!"

Cloud grabs your arm and drags you inside, paying no mind to the other people around. Luckily, the world was filled with a lot of more worrisome things, so no one really cared about this stuff.

Cloud ended up dragging you over to a booth near the corner, and you two sat down on opposite sides. Cloud looked at you awkwardly for a moment before tapping her fingers on the table, subtly bringing her hand closer to yours, and holding her hand over yours, curling her hand around it. She sighs, before looking you in the eyes.

"Anon...to tell you the truth, this is my first time going on a date! I've never been with a real guy before!"

Real guy? What is she talking about? You suppose the only way to find out is to ask her...

"Well for a while now I've been a little obsessed with a certain video game character..."

Cloud looks away from you and blushes a bit, clearly a little embarrassed about this topic. You reassure her that you don't have to hear about it now, and she smiles at you.

"Really? But I wanted to tell you! You remind me of Senpai, it's why I wanted to go out with you! And you don't talk much, but I'm still enjoying myself a lot..."

You squeeze Cloud's hand and she gasps before covering her face with the menu, avoiding eye contact. Oh right, you were at a diner huh..better order something before the night is over.

The waiter comes over soon enough to take your orders and looks over both you and Cloud, it seemed like he was about to say or ask something, but changed his mind. You both place your orders, and both of you get a burger and relax once more.

"So Anon, do you want to hear about what I did the other day?"

The rest of the date continued as expected. You and Cloud spoke some more and ate your dinner. You paid for it, of course. Soon enough, you had to go your separate ways. You offered to walk Cloud back to her home, which she happily accepted. You walked hand in hand until you got to her doorstep.

You said your goodbyes and were about to turn back around, but Cloud quickly stopped you with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Let's go out again sometime Anon!"

Yeah, you were definitely going to make this a regular thing.
